I can set both.  At default, fans are around 3500rpm and temp 45-50 degrees.  At 75%, they go to 4500rpm and sound like a jet turbine.

depends what fans are in there.

It can run at 65-75 temps.

So clock to freq 400,406,412

and clock to 30% fan speed.

If you can get fans down to 2900-3100 with temps at 70 it will simply run and run and run and run

Good ones can do 424 freq clock with 3200 fan speed

shit ones 384 or 390 freq clock with 3200 fan speed

I do not worry about noise so I try fans to do 3500

If you are lucky you may get them to do 2900 at 400 freq

there is other firmware but you have good gear at a good price.

I would try a 400 freq
and fans around 3000 rpm

Got those 2 L3+ in this morning and they actually were legit.  Look brand new.  Already tested out and work great.  Guy has more but now he has realized he was selling too cheap and price is a lot higher.  Got out at a nice deal on these at least.  Adding in the PSU/Cables/Breakout board, only have $675 in each of them.  Take that all day if #'s stay anywhere near where they are right now.

Now to figure out where I am going to put these loud things.  Any tips on them phil as far tweaking firmware, etc?  Or you just run stock?

okay Bitmain has the older firmware which is better as it allows full fan and freq control

and of course the newer firmware which does not allow fan control.

I have it over clocked on the old firmware freq 412 . and fans are set to 75%

so see if you can do both freq and fan speed

east coast time the earliest you can win is 5pm

I check at

5
530
6
630
7
730

since all my wins come in that time

I do not check much from

730 on.

note this is east coast time

so you need to check 6 times.

Its is pretty much one of many time consuming things the mining does.

I could have ordered as many as 45 pny 3070 cards. they were pricey and i think i am a few days away from the point that they would be back to msrp.

say 6 a day for all of feb march and april and 6 days now it comes to 95 x 6 = 570

I think that was more then mark up.

I should check my records just to see.
as i did buy 1 and give the link to them for another person.

I got selected for a 6700, first time ever winning anything.

Problem is I got the notice at 10:30, had until 11, and didn't check until 12, and lost out.

How do you guys actually catch the notice?

With only a half hour window I'd have to constantly refresh, and with this 1 win in over 5 months, that aint going to happen.

hooray for me

i got picked for a 6700XT (sapphire)

now i gotta read up on if its actually any good at anything. wanted a 3070/80/90 but beggars cant be choosers.

I want to say they only do like 47mh or so.  I don't even select the 6700, 6800, or 6900 series.  Of course that being said I have one 6700 and one 6800.  Also I was once again not selected but I'm glad at least two people here got selected today.

yeah i rarely picked the 6xxx series before but having not ever won a thing in the shuffle ive since started to include them.

mid 40s for eth is fine (well depends on power). i am building new game rig too so it wont be wasted either way, at least until i (hopefully) get a better one for the game rig.

you can get watts to 111 on software maybe 107 and they do 42-43 mh

i haven't actually bought anything from NE in years.  Can you get pre-setup with storing your card on file and stuff so you can just click click go when you get picked?

yes although I do PayPal.

but you can enter a credit card if you go to your account there is an option.

Yeah its a shame I cant get any more cards.

I spend 10,000 usd if they would sell them to me.

But with ebay prices of 2x or 3x no not worth it.
every thing below was worth buying for me

Its annoying as I worth buy the ebay cards due to warranty issues and the 2x-3x prices.

And it may turn out I should have done so.

We are ready for 4500 watts worth of gpus right now and I do not have the gear.

I won a 3090 and MOB from the shuffle, not sure I'll buy it.  Sure not going to ROI but it might be cool to play with.

I would have taken it if they told me that.

oh well looks like I am skipped again

Tried to go check out and I'm an hour late, didn't know the window was that short.  I'll try again and if get one i'll let you know.

Nice I don't remember when I finally signed up for the waiting list at EVGA.  I was late to the EVGA list but eventually signed up for them when I had to order a power supply from them.  I think it was late March so it's going to be a while for me but great price and congrats to you two!

Hopefully somebody here gets picked for the shuffle as well!

I will make a 2 card octopus rig as I now have 2  3060
