So I am in the shuffle.

I got a second alienware pc from best buy

due today from ups and they fucking lost it.

I will deal with it the next few days.

It has become a problem I get gear and it gets lost. I then get refunds for it.

The list has grown now to:

3090 from best buy
alienware with a 3070 from best buy
aorus 3080 from b+h
aorus 3080 from newegg
gigabyte 3080 from newegg

that is a lot of gear to be cancelled or go missing.

in every case I was refunded and best buy was 'nice' enough to give me $100 gift card

I estimate I lost over 7500 in profits by having those cards not show up

a total of 480mh

Last night made me 0 for 40 on the shuffle.

Seems like the universe has something to say to me LOL.

I did learn that I could make about $1 a day mining Raven on my home computer and since I'm only on that machine a couple hours a day tops, I might as well put it good use. So I'm going to look at setting that up this weekend.

Found another great deal locally on a couple of A3+ along with three A3's and couple of older ASICs for basically what one A3+ is currently bringing and guy sold them right before I contacted him. I wanted to cry a bit. Did just pick up two Aisen A1 BTC miners for cheap, should be able to flip and double up on them. They make about $5/day but don't really want those power hungry things.

it was 1899 for a 3070 that is making 11 a day.

I have coupons so I paid 1700 after tax. At 11 a day pay off is in 180 days after power cost. it burns 180 watts at the wall or 4.5 kwatts a day at 20 cent summer cost 90 cents a day so it nets 10 bucks a day.

I am elite member so I have 45 day return. So if this over heats too much I can return it.

I have 2 dell on order from dell direct due June 4
I have 1 hp on order from hp due June 10

they were 1650 + 1650 + 1250 = 4550 they have 3060ti's they all have 30 day returns if they over heat.

yeah this could turn into a real shit show for miners. as any RMAs could get a nerfed card back. as well as luck of the draw on any new purchases.

personally if they sold the (clearly marked) nurfed cards at anywhere near retail i would be fine with that as i do play games and not having ready access to 3080/90s for my game rig is annoying. sure id mine with it if profitable (why not) but right now im more looking for a gaming card rather than a mining card. i could live with a nerfed 3080 as long as gaming performance is not affected. and the price was reasonable, not scalped to the moon.

so sell clearly marked nerfed cards at close to retail price to gamers, they will eat them up. then sell full on non nerfed cards to miners at whatever the market will bear. that would work for me.

of course these cards are (so far) only nerfed on eth, they mine other algos full tilt. wonder whats gonna happen on that.

Maybe one of the prebuilts can handle two 3060's on the 470.05 driver to mine Eth? I think the new LHR gpu's aren't going to work with the 470.05 driver.

on this note I have multiple concerns.

I have 2x 3060 cards. they are nerfed and I simply have not bothered to fix it.

They still make money.

I have 2 alienware 3070 pcs that work fully
I have 4 omen 3070 pcs that work fully.

I had to return a dud omen 3070 pc replacement is due in june. if they send me a shit LHR gpu it will be fun.

I have 2x alienware 3060ti on order I do not know if the 3060ti are coming nerfed LHR
I have 1x hp 3060ti on order I do not know if its 3060ti will be nerfed LHR

so i could end up with 1 LHR from 3070 omen
1 3060ti LHR from hp

2x 3060ti LHR from alienware

that is not very acceptable

Man ETH mining is still going strong. I'm wondering if we will see eth/btc at .1 soon. Either way May has been pretty good from a USD standpoint despite a continued steady jump in difficulty.

For those hunting GPU's you will likely want to take notice of the Nvidia gpu chip number soon. Looks like Nvidia is going to be shipping 3070/80's with hashing rate limiter technology and the new 3060's will be nerfed for the driver that unlocks that limit now.

sold it for about 54-55k. We mined 10000 coins since then and they are worth 6k.

maybe 12k by sunday morning.

I am simply selling my 2500 coins share of that each month.

so while I could have made well over 300000 or even 600000 usd. I will settle for the 55k and the 2500 coins each month.

At $36/day, I would ROI in just over a month including the PSU. Can definitely live with that. Now if I can score a few more, I will be even happier. Should of bought more to start with, guy sold like 20 of them at 500-600/each.

you are burning about 1600-1700 watts for 2 units.

you can run for a day see if it holds with 1% or less errors.

if stable drop fans to 28%

it is always hard to know how low to set fans since they ship with fans that do:

4500 at 100%
all the way up to

7000 at 100%

in most cases 2500 to 3100 rpm's will keep you under 70 temp

you can go as high as freq 480 with a great unit.

most of my 20 pieces like 400,406,412

2 l3+ can earn

8 A DAY IN LTC
28 A DAY IN DOGE

36 A DAY while it lasts power used about 40kwatts or 4 bucks at 10 cents. 8 bucks at 20 cents

so 28 to 32 a day is 2800 in 100 days

do not go over freq 412 until you made roi.
