NVIDIA RTX3060 unlock hashrate:
- RTX3060 can now hash 30-40% faster when you use meet two things. You use special OS image and newest lolminer 1.29. First You need to reflash your rig with special image. Select rig and set Actions,Advanced commands, select image called NV 3060 only and confirm. You an also download and reflash image manually https://download.simplemining.net/images/archive/SM-5.4.98-1-a20.40-n460.39-v1304.img.xz . Then you just need to use newest lolminer 1.29. If You have any trouble ask on our discord.

35 to 38mh is possible on smos

How does everyone here store their crypto?  I just had about $800 worth of Eth stolen.  A year and a half ago had $100 (don't even want to calculate the current value) of btc stolen.  I am a system administrator, and even though I am pretty willy nilly with not being super secure with the keys on my computer, I like to think I know enough that my machine doesn't become compromised.  This latest loss was through Metamask, which is retrospect was pretty dumb to use with my daily browser

trezor...

TREZOR

buy the 3 pack. now!

BTW you can use metamask with trezor, the difference is you have to press trezor button to send coins-->which a hacker can't do  Wink

you can also use them for hardware 2fa on sites (exchanges, email etc.) if you don't have yubi keys yet, yubi keys have more sites supported but trezor might be enough for some.

Be careful with those screen shots Phil. I just had my SIM card ported and my email/coinbase account passwords reset. Coinbase's default 2FA authentication goes to your phone and your email is security is also garbage if its 2FA is also your phone. I guess they upgraded my coinbase (which was basically unused) to coinbase pro and I guess that gave them instant access to all crypto on the account.  Drained my bank account to coinbase and transferred it out to their address in less than 30 minutes...

Wow that really sucks and really sorry to hear that.  You have to be super protective of all your online devices these days.  People have to realize that your phone and email is pretty much the gateway to just about all your online accounts.  Guard them well especially since it's so easy to lose your phone.

yeah you have to use google auth

i have a dedicated phone for it. never leaves the house.

yup for sites that only supported google auth...and it is always offline. note: you might want to picture the QR code (in that phone) before saving it in the google auth, then usb back up that pics.

got a samsung s4 i think..it is old but with anker big battery upgrade, since it is always offline it can go for a week or more without charging hehe

here is another bank security...i got a passbook account, if i cash out to that account--the balance can only be "viewed" online but "cannot transfer" from that account since you have to physically go to the bank to withdraw or transfer.

I am pretty sure Phil doesn't use SMS 2FA. Its pretty common knowledge never to use SMS 2FA. Its bad because if someone gets into your email, they can reset your password on some exchanges, and they can look up some documents in your emails and get your phone number such as a cell phone bill. Then if they port your number they will get 2FA access to any accounts that are linked to your number. And hence why so many people lose their funds this way. I don't understand why Authy is so popular with most exchanges. Even Gemini doesn't use Google authenicator but Authy.

So you can use Authy however you need to disable the multi phone link. However most people probably don't do that until its too late. Its sad that many accounts get stolen this way and leaves a bad taste for future crypto investors.

Is that Omen from that black friday deal?  I vaguely remember there being one for like $1000 and I thought it was too expensive.  Kicking myself now lol.  Is there any reason you buy the Dells from Best Buy?

well I have 45 day return as I am elite member plus.

So If it all falls apart I can return them .

I also had 650 in gift cards. and more points

so they are not as expensive for me as they seem to be.

I WONT BUY ON EBAY as I want my warranties. Ebay purchases do not always have a warranty.

Still no shuffle for me either.  I did score a 3070 system from Best Buy that I get next week.  Will pull GPU and add to my rig, which will put it at 6 cards.  Just need 2 more to fill it out.

this is 2 Alienware and 1 omen pulled 3070's

178mh at 459 watts

eth came back over night

and is paying 20 cents an mh!

lost the shuffle again.

but on the good side the lost alienware arrived.

I pulled the 3070 from it.
I pulled the 3070 from a second alienware
I pulled the 3070 from an omen

i now have a nice three card 3070 rig doing 179mh and pulling 459 watts at the kill-a-watt meter.

the rig makes about 30 a day.

I have 2 x  sapphire 6800xt due tomorrow.

I have 2x alienware 3060ti due in early june.
I have 1x hp with a 3060ti due in early june.

so i bumped 60 mh today
i will bump 122 mh tomorrow
and 180 mh in june

about 360 mh.

So I signed up for shuffle.

See if I get lucky.

A strong drop on btc and eth.

I suspect us Gov is pissed about pipeline cyberattacks and ransom was paid in coins.

They probably told musk to attack coins and boom a big price drop

what is this "brake pedal" you speak of?

looks pretty much exactly like my 6700xt nitro. 2.7 slots is about right. my aurora 1080ti is a triple slot and the 6700xt is not much smaller.

so my 6700xt arrives and i go to install it on my onda with all nvidia 10xx cards, 1st thingi found that my version of win10 on the onda (1702 or 1710, very old install that has not been allowed to update at all) is too old for modern amd drivers. tried to install and it gave an error that "this os is not supported." great, imaged the 1710 install to a couple places in case something went south and told it to update but all seemingly went well.

so its pulling 47 MHs at ~160 watts according to the amd driver (running phoenix on eth).

whats the best place to find tweaks for this to get power down a bit on this thing?

btw its a sapphire nitro 6700xt, damn thing is built like a beast. 2.5 slot almost as big as my aurora 1080ti 2.5 card. interestingly all the rgb bling is on the rather impressive backplate so it can be shown off better in standard cases i presume.

rig makes a great nightlight for the basement.

nice I have 2 sapphire  coming on Friday

 https://www.newegg.com/sapphire-radeon-rx-6800-xt-11304-02-20g/p/N82E16814202391?

and the lost Alienware 3070 is back on the truck due today
https://www.bestbuy.com/site/alienware-aurora-r12-gaming-desktop-intel-core-i7-11700f-16gb-memory-nvidia-geforce-rtx-3070-256gb-ssd-1tb-hdd-lunar-light/6455826.p?skuId=6455826

so 63+63+60 = 186mh due   today and tommorrow

eth is at 18.8 cents an mh on viabtc.  so my 3gh = 564 a day
