and BHphoto tells by I can buy a 3070 aorus

I stumble on the email perfect timing and I am clicking link in under 30 seconds and fuck you sold out.
My timing to find the email was basically perfect my clicking to buy was basically spot on and yet sold out.

you can see the unstuck and out of stock notices below

but I was on the website in about the time of 8:59:35 which is pretty much perfect.

So a shitty way to end the day.

well did you at least score the dress for your wife (or for yourself, no judging here)?

That gave me a smile this morning.

new shuffle some good cards good luck to all.

btw im zero for like 30 entries in the shuffle. starting to be a time waster waiting for that "you have not been selected" email but at least its delivered by like 9:30ish pm (EST) lately, one was like 11 pm at night. had to set an alarm to check my mail for the results.

worst part? im want it for my VR game build as much as mining. ive still got my 1080tis; looks like they will have to do for gaming till card production starts ramping up and miners stop just buy pallets of gpus off the factory docks. business is business after all.

well its a dream anyway.

Yep I snagged it.  Really the only bad thing is that I don't need that motherboard and they are selling on ebay for about 100 bucks.  Almost certainly due to the fact that everyone is getting one in the shuffle and doesn't need it.  I guess its worth the "tax" though.  I know there was the strategy floated here a week or 2 ago about only selecting one item to increase your chances.  For what its worth I pretty much selected all of the options.  The only ones I didn't were the combos that have that gigabyte PSU with 2 stars and the other ridiculous stuff like the watercooled motherboards.

Well today I snagged my first card ever from the EVGA queqe the evga 3060

at 379 with discounts

add 25 tax and 15 shipping it was 419

use PayPal six months to pay it off >

   EVGA GeForce RTX 3060 XC GAMING, 12G-P5-3657-KR, 12GB GDDR6, Dual-Fan, Metal Backplate

Item #: 12G-P5-3657-KR NotifyOrder-2668872

I have one of these from an old shuffle

it makes 3-4 a day doing octopus I never bothered to se it up for eth.

So I will have 2 of them.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/154418976441?

It lists for 898 best offer on ebay which is more as tax in my state bumps it to 956.

maybe I will sell it sealed for $666.66

So Newegg Shuffle no

evga queue yes for a 3060 nerf card

Found a link that says there are 100,000 entries for each shuffle.

so if there are 10 different cards in a shuffle 🔀 and 10 of each that is only 100 cards for the day.

which is 1 in 1000 chance to get a card that day.

here is the link:

https://www.pcmag.com/news/no-luck-on-newegg-shuffle-its-probably-because-youre-competing-with-100k

Yesterday there were 27 cards to chose from

so 27 x 10 = 270

so 270/100,000

that is 2.7 of 1000 about 365 to one.

or 1 card a year. ugg

now maybe they have more stock on these drawings.

say 30 of each card and yesterday they had 27 so 810

that would be 8.1 of 1000 or about 122 to one so a card every four months.

still ugg and very likely based on replies hear over the last month we are very likely at the 100 to 1 shot or higher level each day.

lots of cards today so good luck to all lets have some winners.

Been trying for several weeks to get a L3+ or two at a decent price and they keep going up.  Finally got 2 today for $1200 total with no PSU.  Got a couple of extra HP 1200's laying around, so that works out. Hope they are legit, as they supposedly have a bunch more.  Paid with Paypal, so not too worried.

And of course it looks like it is some sort of scam.  Got shipping notice on the 2 miners today and according to UPS, it weighs 5lbs.  Since best I can tell from Google, they weigh over 10lbs each, so I would say something is off.  Crazy thing is that its through Mercari and they don't release funds to the seller until its received by the buyer and they are satisfied.  So  I am really confused by what they are trying to pull.

Also, no go on the Shuffle today and I picked every 3060/3070/3080.

I did sell my 3080 for small mint on Ebay today, so not a completely bad day.

Some shippers get special rates it may not be a spam.

1200 was a good price.  2 units are making about  25 or 26 a day  and burn about 40 kwatts say 8 bucks at 20 cent power so you net close to 20 a day. between doge and ltc. if they work.

April 1 to May 3 is 32 days but Sundays off and I missed 2 so I think I am on a 25 game losing streak.

My gut is bot players simply have 200 accounts to my 1.

As 25 x 8 = 200 picks say 10 cards each is 2000 cards. more likely they sold 20,000 cards last month giving me 20,000 chances to buy 1.

I would love open stats

how many are signed for shuffle each day
how many are accounts that are under 60 days old. = huge which is why we lose.

Definitely seems strange but great if they are in there.  Find out on Friday.  As for power rate, I have my open air rigs at my phone repair shop.  Power rate starts at .10 and then drops to .075 after so much usage.

I have to suspect a fair amount of it is asics. Unless the rumors of thousands of GPUs at a time going straight from factory to mining farms in China is true.  There simply have not been enough GPUs distributed in the "western" world to equal that hashrate.

As for the Shuffle, I went from 4 of 7 - 6 of 17 - 6 of 36.  The odds of winning seem extremely worse now, even with 20+ combos dropping each day lately.

I think it is exactly this.

ETH estimated hashrate

May 2020 : 180
Sept to Jan = +35% (4 months)
Jan : 300
Feb : 360 (20%)
Mar : 420 (17%)
Apr : 480 (14%)
May : 570 (19%)

Year over year : 215% increase in hashrate

I estimate June 1st will be : 700

Nvidia and AMD are producing GPUs at record numbers even though they arent available.  Many, many more than Pascal generation.  Eth price is going higher and higher.
6 million equivalent 3080s mining = 6 Billion msrp roughly mining (take with a big grain of salt)
In last month alone, 1 million equivalent 3080s were added, so = 1 billion $ extra capital deployed (again, grain of salt)

And going higher.

question to ask is how many eth miners are asic vs how many are gpu.

we went from 2.9 million to 5.7 million 3080's if it was all 3080's

but bitmain has admitted to the e9

linzhi asic does 2700 mh at 3300 watts
bitmain e9 does 3300 mh at 2800 watts.

  1,000 e9 =    33,000  3080's
10,000 e9 =  330,000  3080's
30,000 e9 =  990,000  3080's

I have to think that  they have that many in the field right now.

Shuffle was a no go.

Yeah the l3+ is very likely the best asic ever made in terms of profits.

I find it hard to believe how well I have done with them.
