Is coin generation active yet? Nxt has some brilliant features.

You can use it as crowdfunding tool too! Check the section in this paper: https://bitbucket.org/JeanLucPicard/nxt/issue/205/monetary-system-documenation / Crowd Funding

I don't understand why there is so less promotion about this great feature?  Huh

I understand the reason behind all the recent Blacklisting...  can someone please explain the repeated one-block forks & rollbacks though?

thnx  Smiley

bump

In my client, it was always one peer that kept blacklisting me. Not dangerous but a little annoying. JL said that this kind of blacklisting will be handled diffently in the future.

One block forks happen quite often if your client sees another peer with a "better" chain. That's why we have to wait for some confirmations. What I saw is that the transactions are included in both forks anyway, so you won't loose any transactions.

Can I mint with 40-100 machines that will mint to one adress?

Why? It won't improve your chances to forge.

Probably he means mint (PoW) currencies on the Monetary system, not forge.

I think it should be possible now, a few months ago it wasn't, it gave you an error: "error: Counter xy has to be bigger than xy"

Yes, every mint transaction for currency/account needs to have a higher counter than all previous mints or otherwise you could just submit the same hash again and again.
If you are minting from two machines setup each machine to mint on a different account.

The wiki still says you shouldn't (https://wiki.nxtcrypto.org/wiki/Mint_Worker_Utility -> section constraints)

Achim, are you sure that this was changed?

no
