I'm looking for a serious NEXTer in america or australia which wakes me up in the night hours with a phone call, if the NEXT price drops! I would do it, of course!

If interested, please pm me  Roll Eyes

Are you serious???

Why don't you just install this app in your smarphone?

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobnetic.coinguardian

 Roll Eyes

I did not know that there is such a thing! Is there this app for iphone?  Huh Shocked

I have "coinbits" installed on my iPhone. It lists prices and allows you to set alerts. BTER is one of the exchanges it gets prices from.

So, yes is the answer.

Hello Nxt'ers. I've looked at the source. do you take patches? I'll can cross post on the nxt-forum (have to make an account).

1) Would be nice to add some unit-tests, especially for the crypto stuff.

2) Would be nice to use a tool like Ant IMO. Maven and others are bloated, so pure Ant is fine. Better than shell scripts.

3) what's the origin of the curve25519 code? this link http://cds.xs4all.nl:8081/ecdh/ is down. I've found: https://code.google.com/p/curve25519-java, but couldn't find the original C source. why not NaCL? this comment needs updating.

If you decide to post on nxtforum, the best place to start would be the General Technical Discussion subforum (looks like you would fit in  Cheesy) >>> https://nxtforum.org/general/

Hi, new to Nxt here. I'm having trouble adding an account alias. I'm using Nxt Wallet 1.2. Whenever I go to add an alias, select account, type in my alias, and then my account ID and password it says "Invalid Account ID". Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Wesley, the client developer, mentioned there's an issue with this that will be fixed in the next release.

See this for a workaround in 1.1.4:

I am not that familiar with this so I have asked for help here >>>> https://nxtforum.org/alias-system/help-needed-on-bct Someone is likley to come across with an answer.

If you're registered there, Nxtforum.org has a subforum for each aspect of Nxt so you can ask specific questions about problems you might have.

The new design of http://www.nxtcommunity.org/ is just amazing. I'm very optimistic that NXT will certainly be the leading crypto currency in the future.
Looks great indeed!  Smiley

But why so much focus on the "nerd" side of Nxt? Is that how new people want to be seen and associated with? As Nxt Nerds?
I think it's a funny part and it surely can be part of the website, but this is to much IMHO.

I just can't take it anymore...  The stock nerd photos on the nxtcommunity site bug me every time I go there.   Using pictures of people dressed up as 'nerds' rather than actual people is rather lame.

I agree 100%. We need to change this as soon as possible. Or at least set up a poll to see if the majority of the community want to keep this or not! It's really annoying and turns me off...I dont even want to go to the site. Please, let's at least consider a poll.

Oh god, lol. I'm just learning about nxt and I had to see what you're talking about there. It almost looks like a subtle hack to poke fun or an April Fools joke Tongue

overnight, then I will only sell to reduce the loss!
There ought to be a warning, if the price drops below 0.000095 BTC eg current!

Do you understand what I mean?

There must be someone who has the same problem, but is in a different time zone?

The volume is lower than at Bter, but Poloniex has stop-limit orders.

yes that is the problem, I never would be able to sell a larger guantity on poloniex....

I have always done in the past at vircurex because you got a mail when a trade has been executed by a me!
This function does not exist on bter

You could try contacting Bter with the suggestion, though you may to get a Mandarin speaker to translate it first  Grin They don't seem to respond in any other language.

Are all the the features that are outline on the nxt main website integrated in to the currency already? Or are those things just features that are planned to be implemented at some point in the future?

Where does everyone see nxt going? Is the community actively promoting it as an alternative to bitcoin, or are they taking a different approach?

Where is the best place to buy nxt?

I am not sure I do  Cheesy So you want to sell when Nxt drops below a new high?

If you just want a warning of dipping below a certain price, an app is probably the way to go.  If you are worried about losing any money, set a sell order for slightly above the price where you bought at on Bter and it will remember this and sell if/when the time comes on your behalf while you are sleeping.

Daedalus, I suppose that, with the current prices, you are not in a "loss" with your NXT portfolio!  Cheesy

I definitely loved your optimism month ago when the price was at 4k.

You are the best example of a REAL-NXTer  Wink

That is very kind! but I have just found my niche in spamming the threads so that way I get quite well known  Grin There are 3-4 Nxters on nxtforum who seem to do nothing but testing and pushing Nxt forwards that you might never even have heard of  Cheesy

And you'd be surprised   Grin  I bought a large chunk of my Nxt for around these prices (and higher) but BTC was much higher! If we were really smart, we all would have waited until BTC had finished tanking in March ish  Cheesy

I think I said something like there is only one reason you should sell Nxt: if you think the devs can't deliver what they say they can. Since 'the devs' numbers have probably more than doubled in the last month or so and 'what they say they can' has expanded to so many projects that I can't keep up! then things are loking good for us  Cool
