What can your LAK do that neither NXT, nor Bitcoin can?

U could ask the same about Litecoin...

Don't you think it is too soon to create an Alt coin to compete with Nxt? No offense.

Disclosure: I'm actually homosexual so it makes it ok for me to the use that word in the same way Jews can call each other Jews.

Your disclosure doesn't make it any more okay than the fact that you dropped the word in a negative context, with no personal or cultural context provided until prompted.  You can't do that, any more than I or anyone else can.

I don't mean to derail this thread more than I already have this morning, but I have lines I won't let people cross.  I understand you meant well, but intention and perception are not the same thing and you need to be more careful.

In other news, so I don't feel like I wasted a post to be a complainer: hurray for version 0.5.10; and last night I made a bunch of updates to the draft whitepaper that I hope someone will look at because I'm not terribly confident in my understanding of the source code.  Peek at http://wiki.nxtcrypto.org/wiki/Whitepaper:Nxt

Not sure I fully agree with you yet, as I simply don't see people as different I love them all unless they're overly sensitive (or pussy's, the negative connotation associated with female genitalia which everyone likes except me as previously stated I like dicks which also can be used quite negatively). However I'll reflect on this in bed tonight. Great news about v 0.5.10, and I'll check out the feedback summary of your whitepaper when someone posts  Tongue

Edit: Actually, they can use, but only with an identical genesis block. LOL

What happens if they would change recipient or amounts in the genesis block? I don't see how this will lead to a problem.

Will be disclosed in April, just remind me.

Just had a brain flash.

Instead of taking a tech person to the conference, just print out this thread, bind it and keep referring to it by thumbing it's pages.

When asked questions, just stare for a while at the person, put your hand on the pile of print and in a hollow voice intone: "it's in the book"

Would it be too much work to program a DACCEO to attend the event?

I hate academics and their gay twead blazers.

I love my gay tweed blazer, and so does my husband.  Take your bigotry elsewhere.

And NxtChg -- don't go.  The Internet is a scary place.  As Damelon has said, we just disagree with you.  It doesn't mean we don't think you're a lovely person.

I even like Chang Hum, even though s/he uses words s/he shouldn't use in a negative context Wink

Don't feed the trolls!!  Wink

In hindsight i should have said bent. their bent twead blazers, sorry if I have caused offence to any benders

Change log:

This is a bugfix release. All users of 0.5.9 and earlier should upgrade.

Fixed a bug in Transparent Forging. The fix will take effect at block
51000. Users who don't upgrade by this block will be left out on a fork.

Fixed a minor bug in peer weight calculation.

Progress report:

The refactoring of 0.6.0 is going well. The Nxt project now consists of
86 java files instead of 1. I will proceed to work on persisting blocks
and transactions in a database some time next week. I do not plan to
release 0.6.0 until absolutely necessary, because it does not contain
any new user visible features and at this point is likely less stable
than the 0.5.x series. Urgent bugfixes and new API's, if needed, will
still be added to 0.5.x. Any Nxt clone projects that have been eagerly
awaiting the 0.6.x series, so that they can benefit from my refactoring
work for free, will have to continue waiting, while we make progress.
