asking again, can someone help me change my name on this forum?

thanks

are you the hacker that stole the Nxt so you want to change you name? Tongue just joking

i think you can't change it

If this works like any other forum I've been on, you need an admin to help you. (admin, not mod!)

Crazy idea: instead of asking academics, what about cypherpunks? The main thing is that folks want reputed experts to do the review right? Some of them have expertise in encryption (e.g. Assange worked on rubberhose), and they've got reputation within their circles too. Anyone know them from newsgroups, or wherever they hang out nowadays? Might not even need to offer BTC, Nxt seems like exactly the kind of thing they'd love to work on. (Or do they already know about this and I'm underestimating how 1337 they are?)

EDIT: 1201 pages now. Extra prize for me!

+1440, that’s exactly what we need

@cfb I regularly read this thread and i saw you mention one of your projects "Lakshmi coin". It looks like there is a group in India trying to create a bitcoin clone called "Laxmi coin". Here is the website - http://www.laxmicoin.com/
Thought i'd let you know. BTW big, big thanks to you and all the devs for your amazing work!

Yes, it's she... Well, these guys will be surprised when people start buying their coins. The same happened to FutureCoin when Nxt price rised.

Ok, let me put it another way - what will give LAK value?

Choose any or both options:

1. Burnt electricity (like in Bitcoin)
2. Agreement that 1 LAK has value (like in Bitcoin)

Bitcoin has a third option - decentralized blockchain, which allows financial transactions.

What can your LAK do that neither NXT, nor Bitcoin can?

Lots of Clonecoins have value, even though they offer nothing that Bitcoin or Litecoin doesn't already have.

LAK seems to offer convenient mining, convenient enough that site visitors may not mind the extra processing workload (or at least mind it less than ads). I'm interested  Smiley

EDIT: Me first! I've read 1-2 more posts than you guys!

Man - to have waded through 1200 pages of this topic I think he would have already have had to be paid more than 10 BTC.

If there is a fatal flaw I'm going to try and buy the entire worthless network for 21 bitcoins

Can anyone remember how much Satoshi paid Kasperski?

I certainly doubt he published "out of the goodness of his heart" though.

Let's hire Kasperski. Does anyone have an objection ?

I would imagine Kasperski does with 10 Bitcoins

Why don't we submit it as an academic project for MIT or Stanford students?  If you can find a flaw, report it to CFB for approval, we give you 10 BTC.   I can set that up.

Hey guys this is NiftyNikel

While I would be more than happy to be part of a team with a dev to field questions, I feel that me alone would not be a good idea. While I am technically minded, I am no where near a dev level to be able to articulate the inner workings of the protocol or it's advanced features. Since this is more geared towards the technical side, I say we need to get a dev out there for the panel.

I would be willing to chip in to get a dev there and be on the panel with them, but time is limited and something needs to happen soon. Like others have said, this is an amazing opportunity for Nxt and we should do everything possible to get a dev there.

So guys, 10 minute break of this pay-or-not-pay-stuff.

Let's wangle this! Thoughts, comments, ideas?

Please.

sorry guys just needed little help where's the best place to buy & park a domain name...preferably using paypal?

I normally use hostgator but wanted to see if there was a better option.

buy at godaddy and park at parkingcrew.com/above.com or  domainnamesales.com (this one will review your portfolio first, needs to be with traffic, but pays more then others)
