Can the graphics be cooled correctly with so little space?

No different to many other rigs. As long as there is good fan flow it should work fine. Also you can undervolt/underpower to help

One question. How is SSD/HDD powered? Does motherboard have some SATA power output connector(Is cable included)?

Yes, the motherboard has a Sata connector and also a power connector for sata drives. We will include it. Smiley
Ha! I told you this question was coming! I'm glad to hear the cable will be there. I may still need to fabricate some adapter for the case fans from the server PSU though.

What key to get into the BIOS and any settings that should be changed?

ESC or F12 to enter bios. The only setting you might need to change is the boot device, depending on if you want to boot Linux from USB or Windows from SSD. Otherwise everything is set up and it's plug and play.

So what would this rig have to offer in layman's terms? what graphics cards and what would you be able to mine? ether? and would it be profitable to build and use. Sorry, i'm new to all of this and i'm trying to gather info on mining and determine a sort of entry plan. This design looks a bit different but also more upscale than most of the boards that i have seen.

This board will make your life easier when mining. Instead of using risers that have multiple cables and failing points, this board has full 8 full size PCIe 16X slots and does not need risers. Also it has a built in intel Mobile 3855u processor that is very energy efficient. So with this motherboard you will have a more reliable and efficient mining rig.

Thanks for the detailed input about the Delta fans, Phil. I really appreciate it.
I will get some of the quieter Delta  AFB1212HHE-F00 to test them out.

I looked at your new fan photos  all are 1.05 amps to 1.4 amps

that is quite a bit lower  power then  the ones now 1.8 amps

Hopefully they do the job.

1.05 x 12 = 12.6 watts x 8 = 100.8 watts

the one now is

1.8 x 12 = 21.6 watts x 8 = 172.8 watts

this  comes to almost extra 2 kwatts a day per rig

so 60kwatts a month for 1 rig
and 600kwatts a month for 10 rigs.

Thanks for the calculations. Yes, I will have to do testing with the lower power fans and see what kind of temperatures they sustain compared to the higher power Delta fans.

Here are some photos of the cooling fans that we are testing right now. We will post some results soon. For the quieter version of the 4U chassis we are trying to find the optimal fans. Something that is not as loud as Delta fans going at full speed and that still provides sufficient airflow.

I am interested in this motherboard for building my 1080ti rig. Already got 5 cards coming from amazon. This would be perfect

Yep, I think it will be a good fit. Just make sure you got some high power fans to blow on those 1080ti's or get our 4U rack chassis that comes with high Power Delta fans. Also, recommended card thickness is 4CM or less!

I got to say that is pretty slick! I wish I saw this before building my recent rig as I'm too broke to build another one right now. I wish you guys success!

Right now the case is running Delta AFB1212SHE fans, they are powerful but loud.

https://www.amazon.com/Scythe-DFS123812H-3000-Ultra-Kaze-120mm/dp/B001JKNMBE/ref=sr_1_1?

30000 hour life span about 2.5 years.  7.5 watts and quiet. 45db

http://www.scytheus.com/product/ultra-kaze-120mm/

A garage miner with 3 of these cases  will  have 3 x 8 fans = 24 fans x 7.5 watts = 180 watts or 60 watts a case

I have some delta stats  they last longer.

the quiet delta is this

http://partner.delta-corp.com/Products/FANUploads/Specification/AFB1212HHE-F00.pdf

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835213005

if you can find it  it is good. uses 8.4 watts  and will last longer then the ultra kaze

next step up delta is this

https://www.amazon.com/Electronics-AFB1212SHE-120x120x38mm-Cooling-connector/dp/B004Y1HLA8

and it moves 152 cfm uses 1.06 amps or 12.72 watts a fan  that is 101.76 watts for 8

I have had every delta  from the low sound 2900 rpm which would be okay to the  6000 rpm which is a no go for garage miners.

As a  garage miner and a larger sound does not matter miner.

I can tell you in my gargage with 2 or 3 rigs I would use the scythe ultra kaze and not worry that the will need to be changed in a year to 2 years.

As I larger space miner I would want the 152 cfm delta  since they will last 70,000 hours not 30,000

and they will only add 40 watts a rig.

I would not want faster delta's  as they will do 2 amps which is 24 watts a fan or 200 watts a case.

next delta is this

Are there any chassis recommendations for this board?

Cheers,
Andy

We will have the 4U rack mount chassis in the shop soon. It will come with 7X high power delta fans, the fans are loud but have really high airflow and are very efficient at cooling. For testing purposes I switched them out for more quiet ones on the 8X 1060 GTX test rig, temps were around 55-63 before. Now with the quieter fans the temps are 65-72C.

Could you add the option to purchase the rack mount with the quieter fans? Interested in picking up the mobo but will wait for a good chassis to come up

Yes, we plan to add the option to switch the fans for quieter ones. Currently we are testing multiple types of fans to find which ones are best suitable.

Sycthe ultra kaze are good .  Move 133 cfm pull way less power.

I would love a case with those fans.

I have used lots of slot boards.

This one will be better suited for Linux as the celron CPUs are slow.

Eight 1050 tis with the ultra kaze fans would be a quieter miner

Thanks for the recommendation, we will look into the Scythe fans.

I would probably use double ball bearing fans instead of fans with sleeve bearing. I had to remove so many Scythe fans from my server cases it's not even funny. BTW, ordered 1 of your motherboard to try  Smiley

Supposedly sleeve bearing fans are the quietest but I guess for mining purposes reliability and high airflow are more important.

Sleeve bearing fans may be quiet but don't last long in 24/7 environment. I learned the hard way, it was a pain to replace all in my 18 Rosewill cases, good thing the rest of the rosewill had double ball bearing fans.
