There is no consistent game from the Pakistan players. The play from England players is good, because if one fails to perform the next player does it good taking responsibility of the match to be won. In this way England have won the previous series and this series. 247 runs can be chased, because it has got a good list of batsmen than bowlers.

Looks like you are really confident the Pakistan batsman will chase the score, they bowled brilliantly and 247 runs is a easy target in the modern age of cricket but Pakistan is really hard to predict and i wanted to place a bet but Babar Azam who is their consistent player who is really good at chasing targets is back in the pavilion and one batsman has to play the anchor role and take the team home and i have no idea who will step up their game today.

Things are looking bit tough but little partnership building up for the 5th wicket, clearly need some brave effort here, which is very much possible in cricket. No need to waste time by watching this match now. I thought Pakistan would show better performance but it seems Pakistan team is losing the momentum.
If this continues like this, i am afraid Pakistan team will be considered like Srilanka and south Africa where the situation of cricket is getting worse day by day.

I wouldn't call them weak but they are just either too good or too bad on a particular day. I saw the odds before the ODI no.1 and surprisingly Pakistan were the favorites and I was wondering why a visiting team against the world champions is being listed as favorites but I quickly realized why it was such, because the home team England made too many changes suddenly.

In another world, I am really worried about Sri Lankan cricket team because they are neither producing goo enough players nor they have any proper management of the current ones. Changing captain, rotating too many players is what is causing them the troubles. It's heartbreaking to see a world champion team breaking into pieces like that. They had Sanga, Mahela, and all those great players not sure what's wrong now.

Realistically Pakistan would be hoping to get at least one win from the series, so they will receive 10 points in the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Super League. Now the entire series is getting postponed as the batting coach of Sri Lanka Grant Flower is tested positive. Further the batting data analyst too tested positive for covid-19. The expected match with the team under Shikhar Dhawan will not happen now. Indian team is with young players for this tournament.

Women's cricket in Pakistan is not much developed. There is a limited number of domestic players to select from, and as far as I know there is no organized domestic tournament for women players. The PCB is also not much interested in developing the women's game. Currently Pakistan is placed at no.7 in ICC rankings for women, just ahead of Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

Yeah, they are unpredictable and yes they are playing on seaming pitches which usually Asian teams are not used to since spin is what they are usually better at. Still, I feel like against an England side that is making so many changes people expected better from the Pakistan side in the 1st ODI.

One thing I feel the Pakistan team needs to work on is finding a glue player in the middle order. A glue player according to me is someone who can deny bowlers at times when the team is crumbling. You will find such a glue player in almost every top team like Australia, India, New Zealand and England themselves have one.

Pakistan needs to raise their standards, they are fully depended on Babar Azam and if he fails the entire team fails and their players needs to step up the competition and perform well if they need to give a fighting challenge, but the first one was an one sided affair and Pakistan had nothing to offer and the England players batted as if they were playing T20 Cheesy

It is not easy for the subcontinent teams to adjust with the English conditions. For the batsmen, they were playing in flat tracks of sub-continent till now and suddenly they are finding themselves in the seaming and bouncing pitches in Europe. Sri Lanka had the same issue, and now Pakistan is also struggling. But I expected the Pakistanis to fare better, because some of them were playing county cricket in England recently. For example, Babar Azam had represented Somerset last year (and created some controversy by refusing to display the logo from an alcohol brand).
