In next few years Pakistan cricket have no good news and nothing good for any formate as now they already lost No 1 Sport for Twenty/20 and living very low ranking life in ODI and test formate they will stay here as currently inner politics already doing damage and this will keep for few years until we have some good changes in this all.
There is no quickfix solution for the issues faced by the PCB. They date back to at least two decades. No other team wanted to tour Pakistan during this period, because of security risks. As a result PCB was forced to stage the matches in UAE, and as a result of that they lost a large part of the revenue. As the PCB was running short of funds, the domestic cricket suffered. The quality of the domestic competition went down, and it stopped producing quality younger players.
Now we have some good signs, after the successful tours by teams such as Sri Lanka and the highly successful PSL. But when everything was looking good, the COVID 19 pandemic struck.
and it seems to me or should i say bit sad to observe that there is no hope for Fawad Alam in Pakistan cricket anymore. 
Pakistan need some Took-Took batter in Test cricket if they want to taste any sort of success.

I don't see it happening any time soon. PCB is a complete package of disaster for the team right now. I don't see Pakistani team getting any good improvement anytime soon. Have you looked at the category A of the recently made central contract? Not a single good player. This team is done for; Misbah was never a good cricketer; he is never going to be a good coach either. This team is going to remain in ruins even though the nation's prime minister used to be a cricketer. 
and about Dhoni, well that's how he play "Taking Deep " lol. He won many games for India with same strategy and cost some critical games, arguably recent WC as well. like i always say "Its part of the package" no one can do much about it.
