Anyone else who is deciding to bet on the next match based upon the result of toss ?
On average, the chances of winning a cricket match in case you have won the toss is around 60%. I couldn't find any major differences between day matches and day/night matches. The dew factor can be a major issue in a select few grounds. But I have a feeling that in many cases, its importance is overblown. The losing team needs to give some excuse and dew is one of the excuses that comes in very conveniently. The 2nd ODI will take place at the coastal city of Visakhapatnam, where dew may cause some difficulty to the team bowling second.
