Lol Royse. Its Bumrah(Not Bhomra). Felt great to see Bumrah retain his form so quickly after his injury. Kohli always depends on him to pull through during the crucial moments and he almost always does that. Kuldeep was my 2nd favorite since he took crucial wickets at crucial stages of the games.

I agree. People tend to underestimate the burden that Kohli had to shoulder especially after the 1st loss. He turned it out completely thanks to his own individual and team effort.

True that KL had some outstanding moments in keeping and also was able to prove him as a key player of the team but still I stick to Kohli. As a batsman he led the team from front, as a Captain he knew when to make changes, as a fielder he also had some great moments. So I have no doubt that the team who is responsible to find the MoS did the right thing.

It was as taugh call though.

Virat Kolhi already won the man of the series award and since there was a debate regarding that my man of the series award goes to KL Rahul for this wonderful performance in the second ODI and then taking into account the wicket keeping skills that will help the team in including a batsman or a bowler and the dismissals he was part of as a keeper and the ability to bat in any position the team wants, my player of the series is KL Rahul Wink

Kohli deservs Man of the series. Batting, fielding and captaincy were as always outstanding.

Fact is the entire Indian team was looking very confident even after losing the first ODI. I think they knew that they are way ahead than Australia especially their spin department in the middle overs and not to mention Bhomra's economic spells.

Congrats India and those who were betting on them. I was going with wrong horse lol.

How can Rohit deserve it? He had a century and a total of 169 runs in the 3 matches. Virat has two half centrury with a total of 183 runs in 3 matches. Besides his captaincy was good too. I think Virat deserve the MoS reward, not Rohit.

Yes the Indian team has made some experiments 1st odi match that gone for wrong to team India because we know the king kohli has comas to bat at no 4 and it when wrong but after the first lose india did necessary changes in the team and India overcome from first lose now won the series against australia really great show from Indian team.

Changes when done on right time lead to the desired results and this is an excellent example of it. They made changes and wanted to experiment some which they did in 1st and when they saw the result quickly they changed it and got the results in their favour too.

You need to see the bigger picture. Kohli captained the side in an excellent manner and in each of the games he was saving 15-20 runs with his fielding. His bowling changes were spot on, and his tactics proved handy against the in-form Australians. Rohit might have score more runs, but Virat scored the runs when they were required the most.

The experimentation of shuffling the batting order failed other than that i did not find any further experimentation and they were not able to score a big total and Australia chased the total with ease and India were not even able to pick a single wicket in the match and in the rest of the match India played really well and won the series because the top order were able to perform in the matches they won. Now India will be traveling to New Zealand and it will be a good battle and hopefully the fast bowlers will be trump card in the series.

Actually player don't consider about their personal stats when they are in a need of a win to seal the series. Dhawan also missed centuries in this series and he could have reached them if he played little bit cautiously.

Kohli still have time to increase his personal stats of international career.

I doubt he would be disappointed. He needed 11 runs while the team needed 13 runs to win the match which is why it was always difficult for him to hit a century. He didn't seem down too after losing his wicket since he knew that they would be the winning side.
