Bangladesh VS South Africa

The South African team has consistently performed well. So the Bangladesh team is not performing so well at the moment. I can predict from the point table of today's game that South Africa team will win this match because both their batting line and bowling line are stronger than Bangladesh team. Because the Bangladesh team does not have patient players, if the wickets start to fall, then there is a high possibility that the Bangladesh team will be all out in a short time. As per the points table in this match today South Africa team will surely win as they have won three out of four matches. Bangladesh team has won only one match, then surely South Africa team proved to be strong.
South Africa played four matches and won three of them. South Africa is undoubtedly playing better than the Bangladesh team. South Africa's batting line is very strong as they are batting first if they give Bangladesh a target of 300 runs then Bangladesh will never be able to win the match. Because we all know that the batting line of Bangladesh is very bad, there is no player who can run in 100 partnership. Once the wicket of Bangladesh falls, it seems as if it does not stop and becomes all out in a row. Of course we all want Bangladesh to play well today if they can restrict South Africa to 250 runs. Bangladesh can win this match if they bat well. Best wishes for the Bangladesh team.

Batting first, Pakistan amassed 282, which was enough runs to win against Afghanistan. Pakistan's batting line is good but bowling line is not good. If Afghanistan's opening batting is not good, it becomes difficult for them to bat at the end. But today the opening batting has been very good. Afghanistan's opening batting partnership of 130 runs, they went a long way to win. Rahmanullah Gurbaz was dismissed for 65 runs, Ibrahim Zadran was dismissed for 87 runs. Afghanistan's batting has been excellent. Comparatively, Pakistan could not improve their bowling line. If Pakistan could have taken wickets early then Pakistan would have had a chance to win. But in the end Afghanistan won by 8 wickets, congratulations Afghanistan team for winning.

Afghanistan played outstanding cricket in the match against Pakistan. They were exceptional in all three departments. Pakistan got a good opening start and after that AFG spinners almost dried up the runs for Pakistan. In the end, Pakistan did give a very good and competing total to Afghanistan.
Afghanistan batters played with positive intent, and the Pakistan bowling and fielding were very pathetic, even a layman can see what was wrong with their bowling. Too much width at the start and poor spin bowling was the main reason Pakistan was on the losing side.
I think the culprit is Pakistan's bowling and poor fielding.

South Africa vs Bangladesh team  match will start in very short time. I still don't understand which team will win in today match. I want to bet in support of Bangladesh team in today's match. How right for me to bet in support of Bangladesh team. But Bangladesh team  If you come out to bat first and give a target of 300 runs in 50 overs, you can win this match very easily. But I am waiting to see how well South Africa can play with the team. Hope to enjoy a very good match between South Africa team and Bangladesh team.

It was possible but I am thinking that how the Afghanistan played with a good management and were playing in a good way. So they could chase 300 digits too. But fortunately Pakistan didn't go up 300 runs and Afghanistan played and easily chase the target of 282 runs. This defeat broken many hearts and the nation was not expecting this loss by the way.

Both Pakistan and Afghanistan are having 4 points each from 5 matches. Australia is having the same points, but they have played one match less. And their next match is against Netherlands. At this point, India, New Zealand and South Africa are having maximum chances of qualifying to the semi-finals. The question is about the fourth team. IMO, it is going to be Australia. But Pakistan fans can expect for a miracle and if they can win 3-4 of the remaining 4 matches then it maybe possible for them to overtake Australia in points table.

There was the possibility of winning the match if the Pakistani team made some more runs like if they crossed the 300 digit then it would be very difficult for the Afghan team to chase them, yeah they would reach to nearest but could not beat them but somehow we can not neglect the afghan team maybe they are getting up as they are a team and there is no treaty with the afghan team to always remain the same and losing the match. If we talk about the Pakistani team they going down day by day and have one chance if they lose it then it creates headaches for them. Their bowlers are also nothing, Naseem Sha's bowling is too good and when it comes to batting he also tries to come out to the team during tough times and win a lot of matches for the team, but somehow he is injured and will get up after the world cup.

You are assuming way too much here. Afghanistan looked like they could chase down a total of over 300 too since all of their batsmen batted well and they still had big hitters like Mujeeb, Rashid etc remaining.

The fact is that Pakistan's bowling(Excluding Ali) sucked big-time and they keep missing quality spinners who could do a lot on that surface.

Exactly. There was a decent start and when they were playing I was thinking that they could pull the runs above 300 but unfortunately, they didn't remain on the pitch. Noor Ahmad took 3 wickets and these 3 wickets were the strong pillar for the Pakistan team. He collected Abdullah Shafique Babar Azam and Muhammad Rizwan's wickets and they are the main players of Pakistan's team.

Afghanistan won with just 6 balls to spare. This one was the closest match in the tournament so far. If Pakistan had made another 10-15 runs, then it would have been tight. But then, Pakistan has only themselves to blame. There is still a chance that they could qualify for the semi-finals. But to do that they need to win almost all of the remaining matches. I guess it is the absence of Naseem Shah that is creating problems for Pakistan. The other three pacers (Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf, and Hasan Ali) are not able to trouble the opposition batsmen.

If Afghan skipper Hashmatullah Shahidi had a tactical mind in the death overs then Afghans could have been chasing 260 instead of 283, don't forget he under bowled Mujeeb.

Pakistan did deserve to lose this due to various reasons but seriously Babar is a bad leader and it shows on his post match events, this dude never takes responsibility and throws everyone under the bus.

Not sure whether Hashmatullah Shahidi did a mistake there. Mujeeb Ur Rahman was quite expensive yesterday, and three other spinners had already completed their full-quota of 10 overs (Mohammad Nabi, Rashid Khan and Noor Ahmad Lakanwal). During the last few overs, Afghan captain went back to his two seamers (Naveen-ul-Haq and Azmatullah Omarzai), but it didn't worked out that well. Even then Naveen bowled a very good final over. Picked up the wickets of Shadab Khan and Iftikhar Ahmed, and conceded just 3 runs. I don't think Mujeeb would have done any better. BTW, Pakistan scored 58 runs in 4 overs prior to that (46th to 49th).
He should have finished Mujeeb's quota in the middle and maybe reserved a couple of overs of Rashid for the death. He could've complimented Naveen's effort at the back end.

Especially when everyone knows Ifti Chacha is ridiculously bad against spin and his SR is almost half when he faces spin and here we are talking about his match up with Ace spinner Rashid.

I agree with you. Batting first, Pakistan set a target of 283 runs. And that was enough to win. But opponent Afghanistan batted well today. Every batsman in the top order played very well. We can blame the Pakistan bowlers, but when the opposition batsmen are batting very responsibly, it becomes much more difficult for the bowlers to pick up wickets.
Pakistan squad does not have good spin bowlers, this is their weakness. Apart from Afridi, other pace bowlers are not doing very well. And crucially Pakistan's fielding was poor. I would say this is one of the reasons for their defeat. We have seen Pakistan's fielding bad against Australia as well. This team really needs to improve their fielding. They have to be more diligent.
LOL.. I don't think that 282 is a decent total at Chepauk. Abdullah Shafique and Babar Azam gave Pakistan a decent start. But the middle order batsmen could not use that as a launching pad and wasted a lot of balls during the depth overs. Saud Shakeel and Shadab Khan failed to accelerate and only Iftikhar Ahmed towards the end boosted the run rate with a few boundaries. Even then, a total of above 300 would have been decent. For Afghanistan Noor Ahmad was the pick of the bowlers, and he picked up 3 crucial wickets and made sure that Pakistan doesn't manage to cross 300.

Pakistan's batting was very slow from the beginning of the innings. Abdullah Shafique's strike rate was 77 and Babar Azam's strike rate was 80. Despite batting at such a bad strike rate, Pakistan managed to collect 282 runs. Iftikhar did not play the innings of 40 runs off 27 balls, maybe the team could not have given the target of 260 runs. Pakistan mustered just 139 runs in 30 overs, losing three wickets. On the other hand, Afghanistan's collection was 175 runs with the loss of 1 wicket in 30 overs. Afghanistan batsmen played very well. Afghanistan's batsmen took full advantage of Pakistan's weak bowling. At the same time, they batted at a smart strike rate. If the bowlers did well, the Pakistan team would have been able to win the target of 283 runs. Although the Afghanistan spin bowlers bowled very controlled, the Pakistan spin bowlers gave away a lot of runs.

A Clash between South Africa and Bangladesh is here. South Africa is looking to score another 400 as they are a run machine who are scoring many times 400+ runs, and the other side is Bangladesh which is not too strong as compared to Team South Africa. As Team South Africa has some great batters also they have some good bowlers included. On the side of Bangladesh, they have better but can't say. Will there be another upset? Or we would see another 400+ score from South Africa?

South Africa and Bangladesh both have played 24 matches against each other in which Team South Africa is ahead with 18 wins while Bangladesh has only 6 wins over South Africa. Although South Africa has some strong statistics against Bangladesh but yet we will see in the match who is going to play well. Cheers!
Toss is very important for Bangladesh in the match against South Africa so definitely Bangladesh must win the toss if Bangladesh wins the toss against South Africa then they will be one step ahead in doing well against South Africa. With the way South Africa have batted against the big teams, any team must do a lot of planning before taking the field against them.

Shakib Al Hasan was ruled out due to injury against India but will be seen again against South Africa as he is fully fit. If Bangladesh plays with two fast bowlers then Mustafizur Rahman and Shariful Islam will definitely be in place of two fast bowlers and if an additional spinner goes to play Bangladesh then maybe Mahadi Hasan can be seen in the playing XI instead of Nasum Ahmed.

Pakistan should have given 300+ runs target if they wanted to win the match. But unfortunately they were not able to cross 300+ runs. I will appreciate the bowling of Noor Ahmed. He got 3 wickets in 10 overs and gave only 49 runs. Afghanistan has a good bowling line. And in batting line they also played wisely. They hold on pitch and lost first wicket at 130 runs and this was a good partnership. After that they lost second wicket at 190 runs. And then they chase the target.  Smiley

Batting first, Pakistan amassed 282, which was enough runs to win against Afghanistan. Pakistan's batting line is good but bowling line is not good. As always Pakistan lost the match but this time they lost to Afghanistan. Pakistan is such a magical team no one can predict team performance nor you can trust the team. Sometimes they beat a very strong team and sometimes they lose a match with a very weak team if you remember the last World Cup the team won every match and went to the semifinal where they lost I think from India and in this world they won only two matches and lost 3, they have only one chance if they waste that chance then they will be relying on other teams if one in them loss then Pakistan will be qualified for the semifinal. In yesterday's match, the team's performance was good they made 282 runs which is a high target but there was a fielding issue they missed catches and could not stop the ball from the boundary and they took only two wickets which is also a mistake of the batsman if they didn't encounter it they will win the match through the opener's.
