Afghanistan team won by 7 wickets against Sri Lanka in today's match. In today's match, the Sri Lankan team batted first and set a target of 242 runs to the Afghanistan team. I think the target of 242 runs was not enough to prevent the Afghanistan team from winning. If the Sri Lankan team could score 300+ runs in this match today, they would have a chance to win against Afghanistan. Sri Lankan team has done worse in both batting and bowling in this match and Sri Lankan team players have done worse in bowling than batting. The players of the opposing Afghanistan team played very well. Afghanistan team players have performed well especially in terms of batting. Afghanistan team player Rahmanullah Gurbaz could not bat well but Ibrahim Jordan, Rahmat Shah, Hashmatullah Shahidi, Azmatullah played very well. It seems that the Afghanistan team were getting stronger in the ODI format. I am not really enjoying this World Cup. The matches are becoming one-sided all the time, so there is no exciting feeling. You had missed the team Netherland,still this team had a chance to take part in the semi finals.Because they had won the South Africa with the 38 runs which was the biggest margin win and good run rate defeat.The Netherland game against the Bangladesh itself the best knock and made the history in this World Cup.Because the team Bangladesh had the play in the international track using the Asia Cup with the top teams like India,Pakistan and Afghanistan.But the Netherland doesn’t have much explosure to the international game and made the biggest record of winning against the South Africa and the Bangladesh and Afghanistan was in the row for them.

This year's World Cup is mainly for India, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and Afghanistan, because these teams are performing quite well in this year's World Cup, on the other hand, countries like Bangladesh, England, Pakistan and Sri Lanka seem to be in disarray. England and Bangladesh are performing so badly that England and Bangladesh could not pick up a win except for one match. However, there is a doubt whether Bangladesh will have any qualification to play in the Champions League despite the defeat in this year's World Cup. If Bangladesh is not among the top 8 teams in the ICC ODI rankings, Bangladesh will not have any qualification to play in the Champions League.

Another comprehensive victory for Afghanistan in this world cup as they defeated Sri Lanka by 7 wickets in Pune. Afghanistan chase down the target of 242 runs in loss of 3 wickets in 45.2 overs. A match-winning 77 run unbeaten inning vs Pakistan, and also match winning inning by a 62 vs Sri Lanka. Rahmat Shah batted with temperament once again and got out while Afghanistan was in a good position to win the match.

Afghanistan Captain Hashmatullah Shahidi scored 58 runs unbeaten in 74 balls and Azmatullah Omarzai batting outstanding performances with the bat scored 73 runs not out in just 63 balls against Sri Lanka and won match by 7 wickets. The player of the match is Fazalhaq Farooqi for his amazing bowling performance picked up 4 important wicktes by giving 34 runs in 10 over match winning spell.

At this time when I am writing this post the Afghan team needs 11 runs on 39 balls and after completing this post they will win this match. They have proven themselves again, last time they beat Pakistan team, and this time they beat Sri Lanka, which both are strong. This show that they are improving, they are making every part of the team stronger, their fielding, their batsman, and bowlers are performing very well in this two matches. Gurbaz in this match did not perform and dropped his wicket on zero runs while the rest of the players made a good run. The three players without Gurbaz and the person doing bating is outstanding making the match comfortable and relax. In the bowlers, Faroqi got 4 wickets in this match just imagine. I think they won the match so congratulations to the Afghan team supporters.

Afghanistan secured victory by a wide wicket margin. The bowling line of the Afghanistan team is very strong due to which the Sri Lanka team was bowled out for just 241 runs. But Sri Lanka set a target of 241 runs and the Afghanistan team easily managed to meet this target of 241 runs, as they stayed on the field till the end, protecting the wicket. Afghanistan player AzmatUllah was the best performer today as he scored 73 runs unbeaten. And collected a wicket in 7 overs. AzmatUllah played the most important role in giving the Afghanistan team the victory.

India's bowling order is superior in this case which would give them an edge in such an encounter though it would still be competitive indeed.

Australia has definitely regained their confidence for sure, but they are over-dependent on Warner which is their weakness. If he gets out quickly, they struggle. Also, Hazlewood and Zampa are their only consistent bowlers which is another weakness.

Australia is strong, but they aren't as strong as before.

Afghanistan can win if Hashmatullah Shahidi stays till the end of the match. The only batsman to hit a half-century from Afghanistan was Rahmat Shah who scored 62 runs. Dilshan Madushanka is a dangerous bowler for Afghanistan because Dilshan Madushanka bowled Rahmanullah Gurbaz on the very first over, and he also bowled Ibrahim Zadran, these two are very good players in Afghanistan.
They both can achieve a win for Afghanistan but they, unfortunately, lose their own wicket, this is not a piece of thing for Afghanistan. I think if Afghanistan loses so people just miss them because they both are always doing work for the victory of Afghanistan, but Afghanistan also has remaining good players so hope is still alive.

Afghanistan may be going for their third win in this World Cup tournament. Afghanistan need just 88 runs to win this match against Sri Lanka and they still have seven wickets in hand. The Sri Lankan bowlers managed to lose just three wickets in the first 30 overs.  Afghanistan is the only team to have achieved Test playing status some time back and a team that recently achieved Test match playing status is performing in a major tournament like the World Cup like no other team has done before. It is difficult to perform well as an Afghan cricketer because Afghanistan is not a country where cricket is given much importance and where a lot of money is spent on cricket, yet due to the talent of Afghanistan players, they regularly perform well in such big tournaments. Such performance of Afghanistan undoubtedly deserves praise.

Rahmat Shah led Afghanistan's innings well until Rajitha managed to take his wicket, giving Sri Lanka a crucial breakthrough. Rahmat Shah departed after scoring his second consecutive World Cup fifty. With only three wickets down for Afghanistan, they are still in the game. Afghanistan bowler Fazalhaq Farooqi bowled brilliantly today as Sri Lanka bowled below 250 runs. Fazalhaq Farooqi took 4 wickets for 34 runs in 10 overs due to which the Sri Lankan batsmen were under a lot of pressure and could not increase the runs. And today Sri Lanka just set Afghanistan a target of 242 runs I think Afghanistan can easily complete it if they can hold on to the game. However, Afghanistan have scored good runs at the moment and if they can keep it up at the end, they will be able to meet the target. And if Sri Lanka bowling line is good then it might not be possible for Afghanistan to win, for that Afghanistan need to improve their batting and increase their run rate. Afghan cricket fans will surely enjoy a lot of joy if Afghanistan can win today's match against Sri Lanka. However I think Afghanistan can win today's match against Sri Lanka, they need only 147 to go and they have enough wickets in hand so Afghanistan will easily win the match.

Afghanistan bowled brilliantly against Sri Lanka as they managed to keep a team like Sri Lanka below 250 runs. Considering yesterday's match, less than 250 runs is not an easy target for any team. In yesterday's match, we saw England batting only 129 runs against the target of 230 runs given by India. The only one player from Afghanistan was out, who is the main and very good player of Afghanistan Rahmanullah Gurbaz. He was out on duck by Madushanka. In today’s match, he didn’t perform well. But the Afghanistan team didn’t take any tension of this wicket as the Sri Lankan team took the pressure when they lost their first few wickets.

The Afghanistan team can try to win this because the middle order of the Afghanistan team is very strong. Both the teams Afghanistan and Sri Lanka are in the race for the World Cup so this is a very important match for both teams. A win would mean that they will have the chances alive in this World Cup.

Lankans were all out for 240 runs. Afghanistan bowled well in this match. Fazal Haque Farooqui took 4 wickets alone. Mujibur Rahman took 2 wickets. The two teams are now in the semi-final battle. If they beat the 1996 champions Sri Lanka, they will stay in the semi-finals.  Afghans want to earn 2 points by believing in their team speed. I think if Sri Lanka can show a good performance in the bowling line then they can stop the Afghans.

At present, Sri Lanka ended their batting inning of today match against Afghanistan team. Pathum Nissanka was a strong batting inning performance as he managed 46 scores off 60 balls. I feel bad for his batter because he didn't complete his mid century and only 4 scores were remain for completion and then catch up by Azmatullah Omerzai bowler of Afghanistan team. Some other batters also fairly good strength like Kusal Mendis, Sadeera Samarawickrama and Maheesh Theekshana. These batters was also managed good scores like 39, 36, 29. Both these team won two matches previously as well lose two matches. Hight net run rate of Sri Lanka team their slot is in 5th and Afghanistan team slot is in 7th because of their lower NRR.

Sri Lanka did average score. We can’t say it is very good, and we also can’t say it is bad. The all-batsman of Sri Lanka were out. Fazalhaq Farooqi played amazingly in this inning, he took four wickets of very good players from Sri Lanka. The best wicket of Fazalhaq Farooqi was Dimuth Karunaratne in this inning because this was the first wicket and the other batsmen were confused and nervous to play, and the second reason for this thing is that after this wicket Afghani bowlers were confident and they starts to hope that they can win this match. This is a good innings from Afghanistan point of view.

Afghanistan bowled out Sri Lanka for 241 runs. Sri Lanka set a target of 242 runs to Afghanistan. We saw in the previous match that England bowled India out for 229 runs. But India won that match by bowling later. Similarly, if we talk about the Bangladesh vs Netherlands match, Bangladesh bowled out the Netherlands by 229 runs. In that match Netherlands bowled later and won the match. If Afghanistan batsman can play well today with good wicket then maybe they can win this match today. Because we saw Sri Lanka vs Afghanistan match in Asia cup that is Afghanistan batting very well that day in last 4 fight. If can play with that consistency I think today Afghanistan can win the match. And if there is a disaster in batting like Bangladesh and England, then today's match may be out of Afghanistan's hands.
