No doubt thats a big achievement but problem with Pakistan team is consistency. Even in there series against Afghanistan, they were almost knocked out in 2nd ODI. Although Pakistan is ranked number one ODI side still they are unpredictable for Asia and World Cup. Pakistan need to work hard to bring consistency in there performance like Australia and England.

Not expecting them to improve drastically as far as their batting lineup is concerned. For some reason, they are only producing world class spinners and it also hampers their chances as they heavily rely on spin only.

You need a fair amount of batters and a couple of good fast bowlers in the mix for a better combination, if not then they will remain the same underdog team and in a decade or so become like Bangladesh.

Ibrahim Zadran key player goes for Zero in 15 balls and Hashmatullah Shahidi Captain of the Afghanistan team only scored 13 runs in 30 balls. Shahidullah scored 37 in 65 balls and Mujeeb 64 score in 37 balls batting well but was unable to win the match for Afghanistan. Pakistan's bowling unit performed well throughout the Series in the first odi all out in 59 runs. I think the Afghanistan team has improved its batting performance because at this batting line they are unable to win matches in the Asia Cup and ICC World Cup 2023.

Wow congratulations team Pakistan and Babar Azam really deserving team for the number 1 spot in the ICC ODI Ranking. Pakistan after whitewashing Afghanistan in 3 match Series is on top of ICC Point Table. Imam-ul-Haq is the player of the series for his solid performance with 165 runs in three innings including two half-centuries and his best score is 91. Now Pakistan is the No.1 Team in ICC Men ODI Rankings.

I won't agree that Pakistan would have a clear chance to win the Asia Cup because they still have to beat India and If India and Pakistan reach the final, this would mean that they have to beat India three times in a row in order to lift the Asia cup. I don't think that the Pakistan team is that much consistent in beating India.

Another important thing is that the Afghanistan team lacked good bowling, still, Pakistan batsmen struggled in all three matches. If they were playing against a strong bowling attack of India, getting easy wins would not be possible.

It's nice to see that Pakistan was able to whitewash the Afghans in the ODI series. Considering how well Afghanistan batted in the 2nd game, I thought Afghanistan could chase the run. I did not watch the match, but I saw the scorecard. I don't know how the pitch was, but it wasn't a close game at all. The margin is big enough. I assume the Afghans never were able to create hope to win the match.

Pakistan are an inconsistent team for sure, but Afghanistan are even more inconsistent than them. Mujeeb was fantastic towards the end though I didn't expect him to get himself out via hit-wicket.

Rashid's bad form with the bat is one of the primary reasons why Afghanistan kept losing again and again.

Their overall batting is weak but in this series their bowling was a big let down and if we rule out the spin trio then the bowling department looks toothless, especially the death bowling.

In this series, they had a fair amount of chances to seal the match with the ball but they choked at the back end of the inning.
