With good batting order this is going to be an easy win for England team. Today England bowlers were awesome to break partnerships. In most of the Matches of India strong opening partnership gets built. In today's match early wickets of Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer made it a low scoring match. Rohit Sharma stood strong, but he missed his century. Rahul also contributed good, but went for the wrong shot and lost his wicket. Team batting first have got higher win based on the past matches played in Lucknow.

you are right. The pitch is not batting friendly. So if India is able to set a target like 280 then their chances of winning are high. On the other hand, England's batsmen are not in form. We have seen very poor batting from England in each of the previous matches. The last England team managed to collect only 156 runs against Sri Lanka. Such a poor batting order is unlikely to perform well against the Indian bowlers. However, England's players are all talented and experienced. They have the potential to have big collections if they bat responsibly.

However, as you said this wicket at Lucknow is not batting friendly, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul are looking to stabilize the innings and both of them have taken the score to 100 runs.

England need to play for their pride. Even though they cannot qualify for the next stage (semi finals) but they should try to win the remaining matches and try to climb up on the points table. It does not look good that the former world champion England team is among the low teams in this WC.

I checked the odds and India will win this match one sided. Wink

The difference between the odds is too much. I think it is good to bet on India today and get 1.44 winning odds.
