Pakistan started well and did not lose any wicket at 14 runs. If Pakistan just do not lose the wickets in this match, they will surely win this match.
From New Zealand point of view, they need to take wickets else the match will be out of their control.

The New Zealand cricket team went into bat against Pakistan and managed to score 255 runs for 9 wickets in the scheduled 50 overs. Michael Bracewell played the highest run innings for the New Zealand team. He was able to play an innings of 43 runs off 42 balls. None of the team could score a half century. However, Pakistan pacer Naseem Shah has won everyone's hearts. He bowled a career best against New Zealand. He bowled 10 overs and took five valuable wickets at the cost of 57 runs. 255 runs against a team like Pakistan in 50 overs isn't a very fighting scorer. Let's see though as the world famous New Zealand team has something to say. Hopefully, after the break, the New Zealand cricket team will bowl to win.

Pakistan bowled the first two overs with immense accuracy but then when Finn Allen started counter attacking they started spraying the ball and luckily for Pakistan Agha Salman took a splendid catch to dismiss Finn Allen if not he would have taken the match away within the first 10 overs. New Zealand still have a good batting line up and i am expecting a good match.

Newzealand 5 wickets gone already on 154 runs and 35 overs played till now. Pakistan balling side kind of restricted Newzealand batting lineup to score a big target . If run rate goes like this Kiwis will score maximum of 250 runs in 50 overs .
Main concern is Pakistan batting let's see what PCB have done about that.

Pakistan has got wickets of top 4 New Zealand batsmen. Current score of New Zealand is 142/4. Tom Latham is not out on 41 and Pakistan must get him out as quickly as possible. Its a 50 over game and if Pakistan can restrict Newzealand to 250 only then they have some chance.

I have to say Pakistan started really well. They have already got one wicket and have only given three runs. 2.4 overs have been bowled. New Zealand is finding it really hard early on. They will have to stay in the middle and make sure that they do not lose any more wickets at least in the first 10 overs. Right now it feels like Pakistan made the right decision of bowling first.

The One Day International is going to start again from tomorrow where Pakistan vs New Zealand will be played on the first day. I do not see how Pakistan team is favorite in the ODI when they had a miserable performances in the test series. Only having the matches in home ground does not grantee that they will win the ODI matches or the series. Just Remember that only the bad light saved the last test match, otherwise Pakistan had lost that one too.
For those who want to bet on the ODI match, i would suggest them to wait and see how the team perform in the first match. Based on that, a more comprehensive bet can be placed in 2nd ODI.

I think so. Watching the first match would have given a better idea. Risk is a common thing in betting. But if we understand the current performance of the two teams, the chances of winning in betting will be more. A three-match ODI series will be held. Since New Zealand played well in the Test match, they will play well in the ODIs as well. There is no chance to think of them as weak. But playing at Pakistan's home ground, they too will be desperate to do well. Bets can be taken on the 2nd ODI if we want to reduce the risk.

Pakistan and Newzealand are equally good teams and tomorrow the match is going to be a competitive one. Pakistan will come back to its original form eventually and will give good performance.

I know that test cricket has the most amount of scale among any other formats of cricket. But I am not going to waste my time watching test cricket for five days, especially when I might not even see a result. Anyway, that’s my opinion.

Its very unfortunate that a game that originated from Europe hasn't good any attraction there. With introduction of T20 format the test and ODI are losing interest of people. Test can be there because it is what cricket is about but running two formats i.e. T20 and ODI side by side wont be much beneficial in long run.
