Srilankan bowlers had a great day yesterday. The pitch helped them as the ball was not coming on the bat. The fielding was exceptionally better as compared to the 1st ODI. Australia started well and they were in a good position before finch got out. Maxwell did not last long this time and as soon as he was out I knew Srilanka would win this match.
It was a good bowling performance by Sri Lanka. Once again, Finch shows that he is clueless against spin, swinging erratically across the line and wasting a review when LBW. Even having disastrous performance in batting but rain and very good bowling from Sri Lankan bowlers give them very fibulas victory in this second ODI with target was just 216 runs in 43 overs they fail and lost this match by 26 runs with 35 balls was remaining in Australian inning. Kushal Mendis was the highest run-scorer for Sri Lanka today with 36 runs. De Silva and Shanaka also scored 34 runs each. Besides, the performance of any other player on the team was not good. So I thought maybe in this match they will give a target of 320. But at 300 they finished their innings. Still, 300 was enough to win. But the performance of the bowlers was very irregular. Chameera and Wellalage in particular gave plenty of runs. As a result, they lost the match.
