This was a giveaway match. It seems Bangladeshi players were least interested in playing the last match of the series. They were all out at 189, I never expected them to lose in such a manner. They were not even able to reach 200, zero effort displayed in the last match.

I think it too, that Bangladeshi players have given less importance to this match. However, such a batting disaster in Bangladesh is nothing new. Still, I thought Bangladesh would score at least 200 runs. However, Bangladesh won the series 2-1, which is a big achievement for them.

What sort of strength you are talking about? They lost the first two matches by a big margin and the third match was irrelevant as Bangladesh already had won the series. In the long term, the future of Sri Lankan cricket doesn't look safe. Anyway, now they have their first points in the ODI Super League. They are at the 12th position, with one win and 8 points from a total of 6 matches. On the 13th spot we have the Netherlands, who are yet to play any matches.

So the call from Sanath Jayasuriya to uphold the pride got the result and finally Sri Lanka played to win and won the match, i was not expecting this resurgence from the Sri Lankan top order and i thought they would mess up in the end as they started loosing wickets but was able to post a good total and Bangladesh failed to chase the score from the start and they were never in the game at any point of time and a consolation victory for them in the end.

Sri Lanka won by 97 runs, thus they take the series 2-1. Sri Lanka they outplayed Bangladesh every department. A well played by Sri Lanka. Bangladesh should take seriously their batting and fielding unit as their top order fail throughout the series. Bangladesh has some problem with team management, they should work out on it.

Bangladesh's top order batsmen have been consistently performing poorly. I think opening batsmen like Imrul Kayes and Anamul Haque should be given a chance. They have been out of the team for a long time. And other players in their position are not doing well. On the other hand, Sakib Al Hasan is not performing as expected. He could not play well in any of the 3 matches. He needs to be more focused on the batting.

Sri Lanka started their game brilliantly. I thought they would score above 300 runs. But they struggled a bit in the middle of the game. Eventually they managed to score a good total. Bangladeshi batsman showed poor performance today and the fielding was bad too. They have dropped few many easy catches. Shakib Al Hasan couldn't do well with his batting in this series. Whatever, Sri Lanka have bowled nicely as well and got the victory.
