@Terrahash:
Could you please provide at least your company entity number - I was unable to find the company record for TerraHash Inc. at http://kepler.sos.ca.gov/

Thanks.

What they have been saying so far passes the sniff test.

Their plan of using existing proven technology and provide a value add (by assembly and hosting) seems like a pretty bread and butter business plan.  So far they haven't said anything that seems crazy (like they are about to release their own asic).

We will see if the wheels fall off once the chips ship, or if they are everything they are purporting to be.

I am guardedly optimistic as well.

^ what he says. Too bad there's no project like this springing up in Europe. burnin's boards are one possibility, but they're a bit pricey.

Yeah, higher price and quite low density. Currently I have a problem with space and electricity for my units.

Just for the record:
I do not call them "scammers" (see my post above for details).

They haven't taken pre-order money from anyone yet, which bodes well.

I think it's a bit premature to call them scammers without getting more information. I'm reserving judgement at the moment but am cautiously optimistic...

Have seen the address on their webpage. Everybody can put any address on a webpage - this fact alone does not prove
anything - we just have to wait for their answer.

Btw.: BigWheels.net is at 1265 Birchwood Drive.

They do provide an address on their website:
1261 Birchwood Dr, Sunnyvale, CA 94089

According to google maps, this location is used by BigWheels.net, but google maps could be out of date.

I'm not going to order anything from them until they demonstrate a working product, but their business plan does seem plausible even though the timeline is likely overly aggressive.

I'm still feeling somewhat uneasy about Terrahash.

We have

The facts so far:
- They hide website registering details behind a Privacy registrar; why
would an officially registered company do that:
Registrant:
TerrHash, Inc. c/o Dynadot Privacy
PO Box 701
San Mateo, CA 94401
United States
Note "TerrHash" in the official record. Maybe just a typo, if these are manually typed.

I'm still feeling somewhat uneasy about Terrahash.

We have several pages of talking from them what they might have done in the past, might be doing currently, might be doing in the future (e.g. selling boards with the chips they ordered) and that they are "in talks with BKK".
- So they might be real.

The facts so far:
- They have a very generic looking website (terrahash.com)
- They hide website registering details behind a Privacy registrar; why
would an officially registered company do that:
Registrant:
TerrHash, Inc. c/o Dynadot Privacy
PO Box 701
San Mateo, CA 94401
United States
- They state they are a "Silicon valley based company" but have not provided any official company
registration information.
- They state to have ordered two #10k batches of Avalon ASIC chips.

I would like to trust them and order from them as soon as they open their order pages,
but I think we need a bit more proof:

@Terrahash:
- Could you please post a snippet of your Bitsyncom order stating:
   - The two order numbers, the order status & order date
- Could you please sign a short message with the Bitcoin address you used to
pay the two Avalon ASIC batches and state the unique payment address you used.
And post the info in this thread (bitcoin address, message, signature)
   - Some group sellers have done that in the past already, see:
      https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=192916.40  - post #57
- Could you please post some proof of your company registration (Terrahash Inc.) e.g.
an official registration no. and / or link to some official commercial register.
- All this should not take much of your time.

I think the answer to these questions could provide more trust to your company and for all
the forum members still thinking about buying from you.

Thanks for all your efforts and commitment.

Are your products going to be declared as "made in the usa" for NAFTA purposes?
And it will be ETL tested too.  Tongue

How much for shipping?

Do you have any details/ideas about cases? What else will be needed to run these units?

Shipping for those is about 0.10 BTC. You will need an external power source, a usb cable for connection to host and a proper cooling solution.

Sweet, count me in for at least 2, thanks terrahash!
