I do question why you should use blockchain technology for a social network I can understand that it gives an easy voting system for token holders, but it is not more than that in my opinion. No need to do it like this, besides raising some money. Will let this one pass due to a lack of technology advancement.

i've seen this, but i analyzed the traffic on karbon.io and it appears they are marketing to new ICO investors when it's coming from icoalerts.com and such. i think it's just due to some new people learning about ICOs in general. i know when I got in, I looked at their subreddit and saw many many many new people asking very elementary questions about ICOs. ICOs are still very new to the general public and investor
