Also, regarding the Cryptsy issue, I finally got a response after submitting a ticket on Wednesday.
Here's what I received:

"I am deeply sorry for not being able to respond to your ticket in a timely manner.
Our tech support team is still working on your concern, there is no ETA provided yet.
I will keep this ticket open and will be updating you once concern is resolve.
Again, sorry for the delay and thank you kindly for your patience."

This means nothing really.

Sorry if I am rude, but what is more related to anoncoin than anonymous and fairplay politics? Most of the people who will be drawn to this coin in the next upwave will be drawn to the political association of the name.

At the very least maybe a link page with a broad choice of libertarian and pro free speech sites, maybe even activist sites like http://photographyisnotacrime.com/

Again, anonymity is only a feature, in a few weeks or so it will be easily pasted into the code of any coin. The core of anoncoin should be something not so easily copied by the hordes of new flybynight coins. Its anonymity appeal will pass quickly but if it helps people network with likeminded folk, and inspires a bit...

If you or k1773r create a resources link page on the wiki I will try to populate it with fair links and any that seem inappropriate you can delete.

I've still got a missing withdrawal from cryptsy of several hundred ANC from 9 days ago, with a TX ID that doesn't even show on the ANC block explorers.

So we would need a simple explanation ina TL;DR style. How about something like this?

Okay, something complex is better than nothing. It was just my opinion.

Is the wiki only specifically about the coin or is it meant to educate people about 'anonymous' and other issues that might be of interest?

Wiki will be all about Anoncoin only. But we need to add articles about i2p , zerocoin , etc as they are also very related to anoncoin.

Could you find about three links that provide a good introduction to the anonymous movement? I don't think that the purpose of the wiki is to provide a definitive resource for this, but at the same time I also think that we could add a few links so that people who don't know anything about this can learn more.

I would propose adding three links to this page, along with a one sentence summary of web site/resource:

I've made a bunch of modifications to the anoncoin wiki

http://wiki.anoncoin.net/Main_Page

In particular, the main page, anoncoin, and zerocoin. Please correct any mistakes I might have made.

I've also added a FAQ and internet resource page. Could someone help with answering the questions I identified?

can someone tell me how to stop this console messages:

Failed to connect to SAM(111)
Created a new SAM session (FBAPOB)  from another (BLFDRFFI)
Closing SAM session (FBAPOB) ...
Failed to connect to SAM(111)

I've put

i2p=0

in my .conf but to no avail. it still prints this annoying messages....

If you are trying to connect using clearnet , it shouldnt try to connect to sam , if you have disabled i2p. restart the wallet and try.
If you are trying to connect using darknet (i2p) , add i2p=1

I've put

i2p=0

and stopped/started the wallet again but those messages still print to the console...

Here's an interesting article about CoinJoin/SharedCoin:

Weak Privacy Guarantees for SharedCoin Mixing Service
http://www.coinjoinsudoku.com/advisory/

to note:

Quote
SharedCoin will be suitable for protection against unskilled examiners of the Bitcoin blockchain until user-friendly analysis tools are released to the public.

Quote
A tool for analyzing SharedCoin and other CoinJoin-based mixing protocols will be released approximately two weeks following this advisory to allow SharedCoin users adequate time to protect their privacy.

Anoncoin really needs a new exchange:
[...]
Coins-e: No volume, but I rarely have problems

Vircurex:No volume and has a problem with the 4 buy order at .00201400 causing errors when trying to fill.

Coinex: Dead

Bleutrade: New/no volume.
[...]

An exchange having no volume is not a good enough reason to start a new exchange, because the new exchange will also have no volume.  You fix the "no volume" problem by bringing a lot of buyers and sellers together.

Now if the exchange has no volume because it is broken or a scam, that's a different matter.

Anoncoin really needs a new exchange:

*****

Cryptsy: The new verification process is disturbing and not in alignment with ANC goals. I need to submit a new ticket every time I use this site.

BTC38: Withdrawals are slow and I need to submit lots of tickets. It's clumsy to use for non Chinese speakers.

Coins-e: No volume, but I rarely have problems

Vircurex:No volume and has a problem with the 4 buy order at .00201400 causing errors when trying to fill.

Coinex: Dead

Bleutrade: New/no volume.

Given the verification process and impossible use, its a shame that Cryptsy is the premier trading site for ANC.

Is there a better option that I am missing?

Hi Gnosis,

I have a quick question about the RSA UFOs that will be used in Zerocoin:

For the Anoncoin implementation, will you be using the originally generated RSA UFOs, or will you instead be using the UFOs after their small factors have been removed?

The latter. It would be equivalent security either way, but more efficient to use the UFOs after known factors are removed.

Quote
I understand why we are trying to remove small factors for the selection process (some UFOs might be inappropriate and only contain small factors...). However, it seems to me that if someone is going to try to crack Zerocoin, that we shouldn't make it easy for them: They should have to redo all the work that we are now doing.

On the other hand, by using a smaller UFO, it might be less computationally intensive for the zero-knowledge proofs and better for the network...

A powerful entity (for example, the NSA) could certainly find all the factors we are finding, and possibly more. We stand the best chance by reducing the processing power gap between us and them as much as possible (so that they don't know much that we don't know), which is why I started this project, and why I'm trying to get as many people to participate as possible.  My target is that there be less than a 1/1,000,000,000 chance (1e-9) that factoring all RSA UFOs can be done, assuming that a 2048-bit RSA modulus is not factorizable.

I withdrew some anc from cryptsy and processed soon, but I didn't accepted my anc until now,3 days had passed.Cryptsy sucks.
So I talked with a manager of btc38.com and suggested they submit ANC-BTC for worldwide anc enthusiast,I accepted positive response, maybe in a few days we will be able to see the ANC-BTC on btc38.com in Englsih version.
Of course you can buy ANC by RMB on  btc38.com right now(http://www.btc38.com/trade.html?btc38_trade_coin_name=anc)   ,  RMB can be got by sell BTC(http://www.btc38.com/trade.html?btc38_trade_coin_name=btc).
Btc38.com is a reputable and efficient exchange, they hold 100 percent reserve.

You are aware that if you do things "humanish" as you want it, you piss of certain ppl which we need/consist of?

A question though of writing for the proper audience. If you are speaking to French people you have to speak French, not Italian. If you are speaking to normal humanoids you have to speak English not complicated codespeak.

However looking at the words in the wiki it does give extremely detailed complex information in a concise way, it just is aimed at a higher intelligence level than most people who are likely to seek information there, or at least its hard for me to understand it easily.
So we would need a simple explanation ina TL;DR style. How about something like this?
