I had sent a transfer from Dwolla to Mt Gox through bitinstant yesterday, but the status page states "MTGox connection error".  My MtGox account still has not been credited.

My order id: 802cd7a5-be5c-4571-9b62-9c03cbaf7e19

I've sent an email to [email protected] about this, but have yet to hear any word.  Please help!

I tried to transfer from my Dwolla to MTGox through BitInstant and haven't received a response from customer service in a day and a half. It failed with "MTGox Connection Error".

Please send me a message with your order # and any other order details, including the issue you are experiencing.  I will then be able to open you a formal customer support ticket and help resolve your issue.  Thanks Tyler!  Smiley

I really don't mean to be a pain in the neck but should I expect an email or should I check back on here or what?

Hello,

I'm new to both Bitcoin and mining. I set up a combination of Bitcoin 0.8.1, P2Pool and GUIminer, all latest versions.

Bitcoin-qt.exe - has downloaded all ~7.5GB of hashes and I have an active wallet. It is running in server mode with a set user and password. It reports a steady 8-10 active connections and keeps adding new blocks every few minutes.

run_p2pool.exe - is reporting success in connecting to Bitcoin with the aformentioned user and password. The connection, to the best of my understanding, is successful, and run_p2pool begins showing negotiations with other clients. The p2p connection port is custom and forwarded, and external port checking websites indeed confirm that the port is working. P2Pool is reporting that it's found and bound to my BTC account, and is reporting the correct ID, the same that Bitcoin is reporting.

GUIminer/Poclbm - is connecting to P2pool's rpc at 127.0.0.1:9332, and I believe it successfully manages to do so, it throws an error about mismatching user/pass(Poclbm is using generic user/pass to connect to run_p2pool) but then proceeds with hashing. It reports a hash of roughly 200Mhash/s and the graphics card's fan and GPU temp increase significantly, indicating a successful mining.

So as described above, everything seems okay. Bitcoin's all done catching up and waiting, P2Pool correctly connects to it and identifies my account, and Poclbm manages to connect to P2Pool and starts hashing. So where's the problem? Well, I let this run all night, and when I was up it was still running all the same. However, http://127.0.0.1:9332/static/ is reporting the following:

Local rate: 0.00H/s (NaN% DOA) Expected time to share: NaN hours
Shares: 0 total (0 orphaned, 0 dead) Efficiency: Huh

I then go to the graphs page, where the graphs show pool rate and traffic rate for the hours it's been running, but everything under local rate, shares, and payout, is completely empty. It worries me that P2Pool isn't catching my mining at all! Could someone please clarify? Thank you.

This is a BitInstant support thread.  Is this related to a BitInstant transaction?  Thanks!  Smiley

First off, the confirmation email you guys sent me clearly states: "We have made a direct deposit into your MTGox account and there is no need to use the coupon system on this order" So why I'm now being directed to enter in a code is beyond me..

Secondly, MtGox support told me to try entering that code LONG before I had even created my account here, let alone posted that info. So if someone did steal my code or whatever, it surely wasn't from my posting that reply because when I tried to use it before, long before I had posted any of that information here in these forums, it gave me the same error message, and I have not posted it anywhere else. Just in emails to MtGox support.

Same thing happened with me!

I got a email saying "We have made a direct deposit into your MTGox account and there is no need to use the coupon system on this order" after I paid my order.

My funds didn't show after a couple days so I contacted bitinstant support and got a reply from Mandrik. He tried to say I didn't provide a valid account # so the system gave me a coupon code. Thats not true though I did provide the correct account #. As soon as Mandrik gave me my Mtgox coupon I tried redeeming it and it says "This code cannot be redeemed (non existing or already used)"

I've been trying for a week now to even get somebody to answer me why I was provided with a Mtgox coupon that doesn't work. Still waiting for a reply from bitinstant!

Hi.
I used Bitinstant about 24 hours ago to transfer funds to my Mt Gox account.  I received a confirmation email from Bitinstant stating that the order had been processe and that the money should be in my Mt Gox account.  I still have not seen my money in my Mt Gox account and all attempts to contact Bitinstant have been futile so far.  my order id is 1d66434d-a7e4-409b-9a14-40d3ee8196a8
