This is a better picture got the values in on this one

is it showing anything like stale shares? perhaps there is a serious communication problem.

I'm not sure who was assembling them, but I think they might have been in grade school.

Mine doesn't look to bad but the 0 GH/s speaks for itself.

So lets speculate why all the cages are bent. It looks like they all are and a consistent amount. Do they not want us to be able to upgrade with an additional card? Do they think we'll find a work around to use different software to run the machine since CGminer supports the a-1 chips and want us to get a board from another manufacture? Was it necessary to fit the cage into the cases? Maybe they were going for something iconic like the nike swoosh.

This is my pool data from ghash.io for my 1 working card. it ran for 16hrs and was saying 250ghs on the amt ip control screen. ghash.io registers a very irratic 80ghs for 16hrs

maybe amt are actually geniuses and they taught the miner to like like they do ;-)

This is pic of 1 of my boards that doesnt run. you can see the bent copper heat sinks and paste all over.

Damn dude. Those are bent to shit. I only have one little prong bet. It looks like someone was kicking your box down the road.

Now hopefully the cable is the only issue with mine. once I can finally check the information about the chips and see if they are working.

If you look carefully its the compound. That happened well before it left the facility for shipping. Its all over the leads and contacts. Thats really really bad. Could be shorting the board. Bent heats-ink pins/fins while bad is not as bad and can still result in a working board (presuming the heat-sink didn't tear the chip from the board itself slightly in transit. Again a result of shit packing

regarding The 2 boards thats dont run one is the one in the picture above. the other looks ok regarding thermal paste and heat sinks. but both ran upto 190ghs~ the would have chip failures until they both eventually shut down. and now all i get is no a1 chip chain found. so the cards are not registering. i think they maybe dead now. there is no reason why one board works fine and the other 2 dont. i need 2 new boards i think.

Did you try them in different slots on the backplane?

More PowerSupply Rail info, if you do have one of these multi rail jobbers you can puzzle it out.
Corsair HX series single rail does not shut down from ripple, it is way to heavily built for that, you can weld with them. $$$ also.

Hello,
I have technical problem with 1 TH/s Desk.
I received 2 1 TH/s Desks yesterday.
I'm using 2 1600W Lepa power supply.
Miners firstly turn off after 5 minutes, I saw, that 1 original fan was set to air flow in, one to air flow out. A set both fans to IN. So now it working for approximately 30 minutes, then one temperature sensor reach 50 degrees - miner shut down. I have miners in room, where is 21 degrees. So I add 2 fans at front side, now it working for 1 hour, but its not a lot.
So, where is a problem? I must put it to fridge?
---
This is the same issue we observed with the Platimax 1500W: some PCIe connectors share the same rail, with that you are feeding two hashing units over the same rail and overloading it - the Platimax uses to shut down after a while. Since the Lepa's PCIe pinout looks similar to that one, here is the correct way to set up your CCD with the chosen PSU:

1) take a look at bottom of datasheet page 2 (http://www.lepatek.com/files/LE_ProductBasic_eng/PB_File/G1600-EN.pdf)
2) notice that the distribution of the 6 12V rails is as follows: 12V1:MB, 12V2:MB, 12V3:PCIe1+4, 12V4:PCIe2, 12V5:PCIe5+6, 12V6:PCIe3
3) ensure that you connect 4 hashing units to PCIe connectors 1, 2 , 3, and 6 (left 4 and 5 unconnected)
4) buy or build yourself an adapter from MB-20 (12V1) or MB-16 (12V2) connector to PCIe and feed the 5th hashing unit with that

Bottom line: ensure to feed only one hashing unit through one 12V rail. Even if the PSU uses a common rail, powering two hashing units through a single rail will either cause voltage ripples or over-current protection shutting down the PSU.

Good luck

Thanks a lot Zefir, you have right!

I did it exactly how you said, I connected 4 hashing units to separate PCI-E rails and then I modified CPU power supply connector to PCI-E connector, now working stable!

Thank you very much again

Thanks... may be very important info.

Hold on a second Loshia before you scare everyone with your provocative statements.

Yes we've said that " Now We are in distress, and may need some help from the community".

But you're contribution has been anything but that, and our miners work fine and you should be the first one to know that and admit that of course.
You made my day guy's
 Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin
No one from your customers made it work so far Grin Grin Grin
and you are not showing a working unit also Grin Grin Grin
And you a proudly stating "and our miners work fine..." Grin Grin Grin

Of course i will be the first one to admit for sure Wink

HEY AMT CUSTOMERS,  DO YOU HAVE A WORKING MINER SO I CAN BRING MY SINCERE APOLOGY TO AMT?
Because amt does not or at least hide it Grin

PS: for me working miner is a pool graph performance with straight line for at least 24 hours or so
Let me put in other way georgio massa miners work but our crap doesn't for some reason even though it is a copy paste from his design Grin

If this new cable gets my kit working where would you suggest I mine so that you have the most readable information.

That way you either shut up after a bit of gloating because it's not up to snuff, or you shut up because it somehow magically ends up working. (I'm betting on the former rather than the latter. But if it gets you to quite down about the same damn thing everyday I'll gladly assist you. Though I won't have the power draw specs to give you.

Put him on ignore, his posts have been pretty useless and is just an I told you so type of post. I think by this point we all got it. His posts contribute nothing and haven't to the discussion. The ignore button just hides anything he posts from your view. Makes it easier to not have to deal with his nonsense. It certainly made it easier for me. But then seeing people reply to this asshat doesn't anyone. He will post because he can. But ignoring him he will eventually go away.

Deal dude
24 hours pool graph with AVERAGE speed of 500 GH that is what works mean. No ifs or excuses
fo instance one of the modules was faulty but other two are ok or my graph is not straight line because i need to reboot it and so on
Besides i do think they have shipped all nonworking crap as diy Kits but this is other story
Wish you good luck with your cable

goin to try and use mellorbos/regtables back plane and ribbon on my machine and see if that sorts my issue. and also try my corsair rm1000 on their setup and see if it sorts there power issues out. results posted in a bit hopefully

you are all running the 520's right?

I'm too sick, tired, and medicated to work on this. Maybe in the morning I can run to the electronics shop down the street and just see if they have a cable in. I saw like every number but 26. I did see 36 so I could just peel 10 away I imagine. and the connectors are $.70 cents for two. Then I just go to their tech area and see if they can't crimp that on proper for me. if they don't charge more than the crimping tool I'll do it.

That way if it's no the cable I can move on to what ever other issue it could be.
