So what is the overall concensus about this?
Am I better putting my btc here as a "safe" investment, or should I just convert the coins and invest at just-dice? Any other good "safe" option for earning off coins without automatically jumping into cloud mining? (That's what i'm trying to diversify away from)

Thanks for that 1000 BTC long position that you opened for me which resulted in a 8000$ loss. Have fun with my 2BTC that i originally deposited, maybe 1 day they will become 8000$ and pay the rest of my "debt" at your gambling institution.

I have an isssue. I opened a market sell order of 88 bitcoins at 229 (maximum leverege) but it got executed twice for 176 bitcoins and then instant margin called. Resulted in 269 $ loss.

Is the site having some issues? I sold more BTC but my current positions balance, base price and liquidation price hasn't been updated, even though in the logs it shows the trade was executed.

Several folk getting very concerned about the strange behaviour on the books over the last few days.
Some speed bumps with the alphapoint integration are to be expected of course, but a public acknowledgement of same would be expected too.

The trading on bitfinex was definitely laggy and not a fun experience during those high volumes.
I also encountered some problems but luckily still managed to do well.

How does FOK (fill-or-kill) work? Can't seem to find a detailed explanation. Eg how long does it wait before being killed?
Disclaimer: I have never used it, and I may have misunderstood it.AFAIK, FOK works by checking if the entire order can be filled immediately at the specified price (or better). If that is the case, the order executes, if not it is cancelled instead.

Looks like its been a little over a year since the last Bitfinex Audit. Any word if/when another will be happening?
We will have an announcement in regard to this in the coming weeks. It will be a pretty big announcement and we're looking forward to it and hearing what the community thinks.
Its been a couple of weeks. Any progress?
