Setting up a Savings address
This is optional unless you are a Team Member or want to participate in the Free SuperFly Bonus Rewards.

1. Go to the receive screen in your wallet & click new address - label it
POS  & click OK. Put in your password & the new address is set
        up. Then, copy the address.
2. Go to Tools - Savings - Put 100 in the "%" box & Paste the address you made
for POS into the "Address" box.
3. Click Add - Click Activate - Click View Savings - "Savings active"
should appear in yellow with the POS address. If that happens -
you are all set and all POS will go to the POS address after the 70 confirms.

One wallet with two address.
Name one 'Main' and the other one 'POS Savings' or 'POS for Spending'
Setup 'Savings' and uses your 'POS Savings' address to send POS into.
Use coin control to choose the 'POS Savings' when spending your coins

To turn on coin control from the menu selection choose 'Settings -> Options' Change to the 'display' tab. Click on the box that says 'Display Coin Control Feature'
Then when you go to send you will see a button called 'inputs' Click on 'inputs' and a screen will show all of you coins and the address they belong to. Choose the coins from the address that you want to send from.

this is very important to be clear, if is any tech difference or rule to have the savings address in the main wallet via coin control or setup  another wallet to send there the POS rewards.

So far until now I was understanding that you should set up another address via "savings" for the POS rewards, I didn't catch that should be via coincontrol as mandatory and I'm not used to mess with coincontrol (this menu scares the shit out of me)  so I did the second.

@GoldTiger69,  is going to be necessary to make that clear in the Spanish OP

I'm pretty sure if you wanted you can use two wallets. Just setup them both up using different 'ports' and you can use two wallet on the same computer at the same time. Then have 1 address in each wallet. Have the savings from your 'Main' wallet sent to your 'Spending' wallet.

You do not need to use coin control but, simply add a POS address.. Then, You set the new address as the savings address. Will post thr directions for each separately.

Guys Ive updated the OP graphics. As we have rebranded to "Team FLY" to avoid confusion with flycoin.net.

Im still have to update "crypo firsts".

Speaking of that, can anyone add any suggestions to crypto firsts?

What other diagrams could we make? Maybe one for rules? How the money flows?

Awesome!  I know it had to be somewhere in the wallet.

Thank you TimC!

Vegasguy:  Change the wording on the OP, this paragraph mentions a secondary wallet... it's confusing.

Quote
You are also allowed only 1 "savings" address.
IF you want to sell some of your fly, you must setup a "savings" wallet (formally called multisend) as a  secondary wallet.
All of your POS rewards will automatically be sent there and you are welcome to sell them ONLY on the sell side

Perhaps describe the coin control instead as TimC explained to me above.

I can certainly reword the OP. But, the rule MUST be clear. The op is already saturated with words so lets keep it small and to the point and clear. But I wouldnt take took much time on this, as you have a much larger problem that I dont know how you will explain or fix. Almost all of your money was funded by Spiralout that broke our trust and is continuing to dump on a daily basis. You must explain this publicly. I have not guessed at why, this is your opportunity to explain.

Am I missing a feature in the FLY wallet the does this?

If I have 2 receive addresses in the wallet can I choose which I am "sending" from?  I don't see how I can.

I am confused...   Huh

As the fork gets closer, I would like to clarify the details to make sure I am in full compliance next week with the updated wallet.

This is what is stated in the Opening Page:

Quote
You are allowed ONLY 1 "main wallet" address.
You are NOT allowed to EVER make ANY outbound transactions from that main wallet address

You are also allowed only 1 "savings" address.
IF you want to sell some of your fly, you must setup a "savings" wallet (formally called multisend) as a  secondary wallet.
All of your POS rewards will automatically be sent there and you are welcome to sell them ONLY on the sell side

Is the "savings" address in the same wallet.dat as the "main wallet" address?  Because we are only to have one wallet, but sending from that wallet will be the same address either from "main wallet" address or "savings" address, will it not?

Quote
IF you want to sell some of your fly, you must setup a "savings" wallet (formally called multisend) as a  secondary wallet.

This statement sounds to me that the "savings" wallet is a seperate wallet.dat?

I have been told many times I cannot have a second wallet, but I cannot figure out how I will track my Main staking coins and my PoS dividends without seperating them into different wallet.dat

Am I missing a feature in the FLY wallet the does this?

nothing wrong with webwallets
just u have to understand this service will not be created or promoted by team fly
any deposite there is on ur own risc

special with the increased tx fees that will be active soon again on FLY network

i would think twice before burning my coin by send them around

on other side we have to see that exact this behavior will fill the superfly funds

and help us spread FLY between people who are active and act in a possitive way for FLY

if u look at it this way we have to say thx to everyone who support this by sending coins around  Cool

@midnight_miner hi i hear you, and ya i wrestled with that for a while, 'bad' connotations exist, but it is what we're about here very specifically tho -

Due to the request of the community we decided to make available a Fly online wallet at Steps Stay Safe. We trust this will make it easier for Fly holders who do not want to download the Fly wallet before the fork. Once the Fly Team post the updated wallet we will compile it and you can move your coins.

You can register and use the online wallet at www.altcoinsteps.com

WTW?...I thought a web-wallet was 'out of the question'? Now I'm confused! Have I been telling ppl the wrong thing? Sheesh...wish someone would clue me in before I open my big mouth to help them.

Im going to tread lightly here and just say the facts. I was approached by Altcoin steps about a web wallet, and I told them I was 100% completely against the idea, and I dont like webwallets. So just so you know, I got the news just now too , that they went ahead and did it anyway.

Vegas

Vegas is very clear to all here that he prefers a wallet in his posession on his computer with security he has put in place.
I have to agree that the best safety is that which you control. Without proper backups, virus and malware software and
an anti-keylogger you could even be at risk on your own computer. If you are missing any pieces of the safety puzzle, please
take steps to correct it.

This mean that each Fly holder should carefully weigh their desire for a web wallet vs. any risks associated with a web wallet.

I am only familiar with CoinBase, which is essentially a BTC web wallet, and StaisyBit. I am comforable with Coinbase
because it is a Silicon Valley company with major tech investors and StaisyBit Cloud Staking because I personally
know some of the people behind it. Exchanges are also basically web wallets. If you decide to use a Steps web wallet,
make sure you ask enough questions concerning security to be satisfied your coins are safe.

The best wallet is always the one that only you have 100% control over and have set up strong security for.
Everyone should determine for themselves the risk vs. the convenience and, if you proceed, do it in an informed manner.
