As someone from this age group, I have to disappoint you - older people may well do sig campaigns, run bitcoin businesses, do all kinds of funny stuff.
However, most of us have enough life experience to avoid falling for most of the scams, and keeping calm while the exchange rate skyrockets...
You should never underestimate our abilities and diverse interests :-)

Hello guys,do anyone here know's some old person's who actually make bitcoins by investing them or i dont know,by signature campaining ?
I was wondering about it for some time,i just never heard about someone older than 45 years and making bitcoins.
Most of people in this age group are generally settled with their job and family. They usually dont have time for signature forum posting. However there may be some exception

I know of one person slightly over 45 that is investing in bitcoins and I'm sure there are a few others. But it's true that it is a technology for the younger people right now. It's still new and hasn't fully caught on yet.

yes there many old peoples of the age of 45+ they are earning bitcoin and  invest his money in bitcoin and hold their bitcoin for increasing its price and many old people earning bitcoin  through signature campaign .
i think 45 plus is not an old person i think he is just in middle of his age how can we then consider him as an old person. i think the person above 60 should be consider as old person.

I think even expecting old people to make money is like a crime and more with signature campaign. Mate a person who is older than 45 years how can he type lengthy sentences and earn with it ?

yes I think old people are earning even more than us because they have much experience than us and may be more money for investements.I think most 45+ users are investors only.
Of course. With more years living comes with it more experience on how things work best in life without wasting much time doing it.  Cool

I dont know about some old peopl doing some signature campaignm they are old enough to do it and its a pain in the eye. But in terms of bitcoin investment like crowndfunding there are many. In our place there are old people aging 50 to 70 years old and above who are investing in btc trading and crowdfunding. Some have earned a lot and others lose a lot. They are HYIP lovers.

Yeah but I don't think that they are the ones who directly manage their investments. They are too old to understand.
They may have someone who helps them maybe a younger friend or their kids.
They know nothing about it. They just know they have to give money then earn afterwards.
Trust me. I know one.  Grin

While I'll admit that this technology is for the current generation, once bitcoin becomes a household term, expect to see alot more people embracing working from home. I imagine this would be a great way to get some of the elderly back into the work force with minimal 'ouch'. Because we all know social security is dead in the water.

Bitcoin has to become a lot more user friendly, however, before it will ever be widely adopted.
Yaa Bitcoins have to be widely adopted to be used by most of the people. There has been drastic technological change over couple of decades in human history.People of old generation often find it difficult to cope with the new advancements. It is the same with bitcoins. Old people may hesitate to use bitcoins unless it becomes necessary.

45 years or older i think they won't wasting their time for signature campaign,in my area i saw them making bitcoin by joining with the club, buying miner, build their own mining farm, or invest in big project.
but i'm not sure maybe there are some here , since we can't check one by one,and i dont think that they will spoke about their age, we are in anonymous forum right?

Lol, I am over 45 and still mining bitcoins. I got into BTC because my real job involves cryptography and financial software. I first learned about it 6 years ago while browsing through some crypto forums doing work related research.

Cool. For you who is in financial software makes that easy.

But for those other old people it gets harder to make them understand this kind of thing. They still live in that moment where everything can be done with nature.  Grin

I think the same, but it is not said that you cannot do signature campaining when you are 60 year's old Grin
But i doubt that people like this exist,as you said they would probably try to invest btc very smart and safe.

There are a lot of retired people who are probably investing in Bitcoin as we speak and they are more then likely not spending their time on this forum anyway because they don't need to in the first place. New technologies are not only for the younger generation you know. There are people with backgrounds in IT, business or heck even banking who probably have a lot of accumulated funds in their bank accounts over the years that can be used for trading Bitcoin. By the way old people don't need to work at all they can buy the coins themselves  Grin
