Maybe you don't come across as a fudder in that case, but as a man with concerns that has good questions. In that case you might get some sympathy from people some day.

I don't think the old wallet will be polished so close before the release of SLK. In my point of view that's time wasted (I don't know if it really consumes a lot of time though).

The price of SLK will eventually be 4000(+) and that's why Orestes had been telling everybody multiple times that it's not a bad idea to invest in SILK(/SLK). The man of conscience as I know him wants to be able to say "I explained it thoroughly" in hindsight.

Taking ico funds to stabalize a coins price isnt anythibf new or breakthrough... its been done before and it doesnt work. Free market is the only thing that works.. this stinks of corporate greed and market amateurs..

You can trade Silk for DarkSilk at market price on Weaver. Silk is worth buying as it will represent the success of DarkSilk.
And what is the problem with trusting Weaver? Would you like to swap through an escrow perhaps? Maybe we can accommodate for your unique situation.

Price of Silk (not Silkcoin) will be propped up yes, not by use though, but by the network. If it's worth nothing then it won't be of much use.

It is possible to set boundaries and fight the system from within the system. Nothing is all good or all bad.
Concerning etc, they are not dumping in a stand against something, they are chasing profit.

Because of the way the system's designed (assuming it works as planned) it almost has to reach that price eventually. If the minimum price for Darksilk means it starts with a market cap of at least $1m, then the price of Silk will have to be around 3x what Silkcoin is now just to achieve parity. And I'd be surprised if Darksilk's market cap doesn't start out quite a bit higher. This is why whoever sold that big chunk at 1050 sats, if they aren't already, is going to be absolutely kicking themselves in a few weeks time.

100% agree... Looks like an extra 2 million was added to the float on what was on Poloniex. May have been someone who discovered they had an old wallet and just wanted to sell. Average was always around 2 mil and has recently blown up... Regardless, 5 mil SILK on the exchange will go fast as this becomes more popular.

Been holding for a long time now.... In my wallet and staking... Not holding that kind of crazy amount but I have a nice amount.
