It’s an online gambling casino, so there aren’t many interesting stories to share since they mostly cater to gamblers outside the country.

This is the sad reality. Actually, POGO itself is beneficial and good to the country if the business is regulated and maintained without any hidden agenda. The problem is this greedy politicians that allowing shady transactions inside the POGO in exchange for kick back/bribe.

I knew many POGO worker that already lost their job despite they are working honestly. They are the collateral damage for the PH corrupt system that affects the legit business with this some shady POGO.

When corruption is already deeply rooted in the system, no business is safe if it cooperates with the corrupt, as it's only a matter of time before it is discovered. Officials will change over time, and the next ones might be greedier than the last, making it difficult for the casino to continue paying dues.

In the first place, I think the reason why POGO chose the Philippines to run their business is because they saw that officials could be bribed, so they were confident they would not face problems. In fact, the large facilities they created by spending billions already showed their confidence - until the government decided to shut them down entirely.

In countries of Asia, specially those under the shadow of China, it must be even a worse situation for those who are victims of exploitation.

Things like these have been happening since a long time now and we have heard cases of people being caught in such activities.
I guess this is just one of those cases but the thing to note is that such people don't stop their activities even after being caught.
Some of them start their activities in a different way after serving their time in prison and some extra ordinary people carry out their operations even from the prison.
Even if their casino has been shut but may be they would have created some other front picture and are continuin the operations even today.
