 Any thoughts?
I dont believe that they would really be that too in concern and those guidelines and cautions or warnings are really just showing off that they are really that mindful or having the sympathize into those

people who do lost up soo much money. We know on where these gambling platforms or companies do make money which is into those losing gamblers which it would be normal that they would really be that happy when it comes to see those people who do lost up that much.Im not saying that they are all like that but who do knows if someone is really that having a concern.
In most case which i do see that these are just cover ups just for them to make it look good into other peoples eyes that they do care.

I think casinos would love it if you lose the money you could afford to lose. They rather you not sell your house to bet, that would be a stupid move and not a great way to gamble. However, they certainly do not want you to win neither, that would be bad for business and they rather you lose.

It means that there is this sweet spot where you lose your money to them, and they gladly take it, and not really ruin your entire life because of it. They probably want that much, but if push come to shove, they rather you sell your house to gamble over a possibility of you winning, because you being in terrible situation is still better than them being in a terrible situation. Which, I can understand, they are a business and they need a profit.

I don't know about you but from what I have seen, they could care less if you lose money. the fact that they've designed bonus promotions to try and bring back gamblers that have lost money on their gambling site and entice them to gamble again and hopefully continue gambling shows you that they could care less if you have lost money. also, the "gamble responsibly" you see is most likely part of the regulation that they'd have to follow.
Some site are too focus on their possible profit and didn’t care that much if you lose with greed or addiction, but we are talking about the good site here who are encouraging their players to be more responsible and gamble moderately which I think is a good strategy. This might be part of the regulation but some site are taking this seriously because they truly care, try to read the terms and conditions or other FAQ about the site you’re playing with, you might see this one as well.

Online Casinos Want you to Gamble Responsibly
Or it is the casino's disclaimer that they are not responsible for anything bad that can happen to you because you are gambling like a shithead.

Sure, on the flipside, reminders like these denotes a positive tone, however you can't be sure if these entities actually cares to some random dude playing on their website. At the end of the day, their goal is to make money by providing some sort of entertainment where gamblers can enjoy.
It’s obvious that they don’t want to be blame if gamblers will resort into gambling addiction and lose everything they have. Because if they really care, once gamblers are making consistent losses, then they should put limits to it and these gamblers should not be allowed to gambler more. But it’s clear that casinos even come out with more bonuses and rewards so that gamblers will be more interested to bet more hoping they can still chase their losses and win a good amount this time.
^Definitely right and this was probably the main reason for them, they don't want to blame someone addicted because of them. But still business is for business with them, no matter what it is, it always matters how they will get profit from us and that is how gambling casinos will survive on their business. As we can see, there are many gambling casinos that pop up every year here, how many of them become successful, if they don't get profit from us did you think they will survive? I think they will not.
This story is the same for cigarettes, as they always remind people of (Government Warning: Cigarette smoking is dangerous to your health) but yet people still smoke and buying cigarettes.

I don't believe online casinos enjoy seeing a gambler lose money. I'd like to believe that they only want responsible gamblers to patronize them. They believe they have a moral obligation to present some suggestions for responsible gambling to the general population. It is also logical to believe that if they could assess visitors for gambling addiction, those who failed the test would be banned from signing up. Because they can't, they've created a section of their website with guidelines for responsible gambling. So, even if the house always wins, which is good for their business, it is your responsibility to bet responsibly.

The following are some of the responsible gambling guidelines I found on Livecasino.io, Duelbits, TrustDice, and others. They all have the same idea.

Quote
- Treat your betting and gaming as a form of entertainment and only use money that you have set aside for your entertainment.
- Do not bet or wager amounts larger than you are comfortable with.
- Do not bet or wager with money you cannot afford to lose.
- Do not chase your losses.
- Do not let your betting and/or gaming take up time that you would usually spend on other activities.

 Any thoughts?

Every major casino has this section. However it is not the casino responsibility to teach you responsible gambling but instead they give you some guidelines to follow for your own good and if you follow them you won't get addicted. This is from international laws and jurisdiction where these casinos are located. In the end each of these casinos is only complying with the law required by them and they are forced to have a section of responsible gaming in their website.

Personally I think that it is anyone responsibility to play and gamble responsible and that the casino does not play any role here,in fact the casino is just like any other business, they are here to maximize profit and they should not care much what each one of do as it is not their responsibility what we do from our actions.

They promote responsible gambling and encourage players to spend within thier means. Very ironic but these casinos also provide hotline for users with a gambling problems.

While I believe they have written those words, it seems like it's to cleanse the guilt. In a way, the guidelines pave the way to make gamblers feel safer while losing money.
They are regulates so they have to play this role for them to qualify for the license, casinos have to do this so they can attract more gamblers and protect their players where they can get benefit on this, a responsible gamblers will always benefit the site because the house will always win. There’s no site that wants you to get addict, because you became liability to them, having their specific department to handle this issue a good one for the site, they have to do this for the benefit of both parties.

You believe right Smiley

There are two possibly best outcomes for a casino.
- A player stays at 50% win rate and keeps coming back and playing on regular basis. The casino earns its fee, has a high online count, the gambler is happy because he loses one day but comes back and wins it all back the next time. The player leaves positive reviews, maybe invites others to play.
-A player wins, comes back with a lot of money and loses it all fast. The casino earns in a single day more than that player would be able to bring in fees and entries in a few years.

They can be happy with a gambler who loses and never comes back as long as it's a lot of money. Each player has a value to the business and you can bring that value in 5 years or in 1 day.

I think they just want to survive in the long run that is why they are reminding their gambler to be a responsible gambler.
For me it is all just a business if the gambler lost too much on them and started bad mouthing their website it could affect their future clients, plus they would lose those who are constantly losing too much money on their site.
I think they just want the gambler to be responsible so that it could keep on coming back to them.
P.S it is only my opinion about this topic and how I see it.

This thread reminds me of smoking products, on the outside of the package there is a warning sign written about the dangers of smoking. referring to what is stated on the cigarette packaging, I do not see that it is part of the cigarette manufacturer's moral obligations. but they are obliged to give this warning, due to regulations from the law that must be included in each cigarette pack.  but in fact, the number of smokers is increasing despite the warnings printed on each pack.

On the other hand, this thread illustrates what I demonstrated with a cigarette manufacturer. nevertheless, I will be happy to accept it kindly, if these guidelines are purely based on moral obligations because they have quite positive values. in practice, however, these guidelines appear to be allegory. because after all, to be a responsible gambler is not as simple as it says according to these guidelines.

While I think some of these casinos have the genuine care on their players, some of them are posting messages such as this for the gamblers to not think that the casino is their enemy and is there solely to take their money. It feels like it's a psychological trick that they're applying on users for them to continue playing as long as it's within a set budget that the gambler allots for their gambling activities.

Well if I were the gambler and sees that the casino somewhat cares about my well-being, I would be grateful and, in a way, will be supporting the casino even more.
Then their psychological tricks is effective. Cheesy

Somehow I believe that they were just following some guidelines to prevent some violation but they love their players losing money since it's still a business at the end of the day. Although, this should be followed to all of the casinos to let their players or potential players to be aware of what should be the results of their hasty decision.

It's up to the people/gamblers to control everything on their own after those reminders.

Tobacco companies in my country print boldly "Smokers a liable to die young" on every pack of cigarettes they produce and sell. I feel that they are doing this because the government mandates that. If they are concerned about the health of smokers, they would have simply stopped production.

Casino companies are not charitable organizations they are open for profit making. And they make more money when gamblers lose more and if nobody losses for some time the casino might go bankrupt. They might not want people to become addicts because it could lead to unfavorable government policies but they won't deny that they want to make a profit.

The case e.g. what has happened to online sports betting, which over the years has become widespread, people who in their lives no had followed one sport, Now make bets.

I mean, in a certain way, one would expect the bet to be really recreational and in that sense, he would bet on a sport that he likes and that he knows in a certain way.

That way the bettor could say "my team didn't play well, things didn't work out, etc.".

They doesn't even think about losing money, having bad luck, making a mistake, etc.  That is a bet for entertainment and fun, bet on your team and on the sport you know.

So, it is something organic that should be given that way, you do not need to read it, since reading it will not change your orientation in that "healthy" feeling of gambling for entertainment.

Those warnings from the casino are there as a legal and social order matter, it's like the signs to keep quiet in a library, well many may not even know that such a thing exists, but they are there.

With all this, what I am saying is that almost always the people who have problems with any type of betting is that they do not have prior learning, either because, as in the case of sports betting, they never even follow a sport, they do not manage statistics ( or something simple like a fan's intuition. Wink  ) and So every time they lose it's the casino's fault or their bad luck.

Then! Anyone who I suspected is prone to situations of anxiety, depression, stress and even more so if they have gambling problems should stay away, yes or yes, from a casino, it is the only solution, some clauses are not going to save them.

Aren't casinos just playing with us? Casino is a business and they know whoever has money will spend to make money.
A few responsible guidelines will do but this is the same as those tokens in ICO where they are telling users to invest money they can afford to lose but after a few pep talks, they will also tell investors they can't make a huge profit if investors risk too little amount.

MAaaN...!! CUT THAT STUPID SHIT
I don't believe online casinos enjoy seeing a gambler lose money. I'd like to believe that they only want responsible gamblers to patronize them.
Smart casinos will always try caring for the mental and financial health of their customers, not only (and maybe not exactly) because it's a moral matter, but because a healthy gambler is much more profitable for the business, since he will maintain a frequent activity on the platform on long term, while a problem gambler may spend tons of money at once, but won't be able to come back to play again, since he will be bankrupt and restricted from gambling.

Some online casinos may have programs and practices to help their customers play wisely and maintain financial and mental health.
However, this can vary from casino to casino, and not all online casinos apply the same standards.
There are several things that online casinos can do to help their customers play wisely, such as providing information on playing responsibly, limiting the amount of money that can be withdrawn each day, and providing tools to limit the time to play or the amount of money that can be spent.
However, this doesn't mean that all online casinos do this, or that they do it effectively. Therefore, it is very important for customers to do research and understand what an online casino has to offer before deciding to play.
In general, it is important for customers to play wisely and take care of their financial and mental health by understanding the risks and limiting the time and money they risk.

It is true that online casinos want you to gamble responsibly, but not all of them. Some casinos and even online sports betting platforms are concerned that there users do not become irresponsible gamblers and they go ahead to make effort still with their name telling people to "gamble responsibly".

On television, I was happy to see recently an advert from ''BETKING'', a popular sport betting platform telling people to know when to stop gambling. This is a part of a campaign that the company launched to promote responsible gambling.
Quote
BetKing, has launched a campaign themed ‘Kings Know when to stop’ that aims to encourage a responsible gaming ecosystem by educating players on the importance of betting responsibly.

A statement by the organization said the campaign features a three-part TVC that encourages players to maintain responsible gaming behaviors by recognizing and sticking to their limits.

It proves that truly some casino's and other gambling platforms are in support of responsible gambling.
