If many casinos have such responsible gambling guidelines, we as gamblers should not treat gambling beyond these limits so that it will not have bad consequences for us. We should treat gambling as entertainment and not expect too much from gambling to earn much money.

We can enjoy gambling by using money as needed and not exceeding our set limits. We are responsible for ourselves and our money, so we must remember that gambling is entertainment.

that is why gambling is not appropriate for minors to play, after all playing gambling must be really wise and you should not play gambling if you cannot control yourself because maybe it will cause people to lose a lot of money  Wink
It seems that age cannot be a guarantee that every gambler can be responsible because many of them are already adults but still cannot take responsibility when gambling.
There are some gamblers who are underage and in fact they can obey all the existing rules because they are afraid of sanctions that will be given if they make a mistake and are irresponsible.

Self-control is needed by every gambler, but it's rare for them to be able to control themselves so that they minimize losing money on a large scale.
Until now there are still many gamblers who play but only follow their emotions and lust for victory and profit.
yes, the difference was that before I played gambling on the street to get money now people easily play gambling through their cellphones without knowing their age but that might be a problem if you have to be asked to complete KYC, but as it is said that everything returns to our own control because winning comes from there

A responsible gambler is the best gambler because he is a returning customer. People who go all in will lose everything they got and they won’t be playing anymore because a person like that can’t have a job and a guy with no job can’t earn money. The casino don’t want that. They don’t want their customers to lose their life savings. That’s no good for the both player and the casino. A gambler that plays every week with the 10% his income is a better customer than a guy that wagers his whole paycheck.

This is all on paper though. If the player wants to go all in, nothing can stop him from doing so. There will always be some people that want to get poor by their own will.

I don't believe online casinos enjoy seeing a gambler lose money. I'd like to believe that they only want responsible gamblers to patronize them. They believe they have a moral obligation to present some suggestions for responsible gambling to the general population. It is also logical to believe that if they could assess visitors for gambling addiction, those who failed the test would be banned from signing up. Because they can't, they've created a section of their website with guidelines for responsible gambling. So, even if the house always wins, which is good for their business, it is your responsibility to bet responsibly.

The following are some of the responsible gambling guidelines I found on Livecasino.io, Duelbits, TrustDice, and others. They all have the same idea.

Quote
- Treat your betting and gaming as a form of entertainment and only use money that you have set aside for your entertainment.
- Do not bet or wager amounts larger than you are comfortable with.
- Do not bet or wager with money you cannot afford to lose.
- Do not chase your losses.
- Do not let your betting and/or gaming take up time that you would usually spend on other activities.

 Any thoughts?
I believe that yes they have still the concern and hearte to its gamblers. But we as gambler and people should be responsible for everything, no matter how many times they will keep on saying these things and will show up even in the front page of their pages if you will not understand this thing and take it to your heart and mind you will eventually fall into greed if you let your emotions go before you, if you still want to chase the losses yes I know no one wants to have a losses or go into deficit but the thing is we have the control to our life.

It's part of their compliance that they have something like this, they want to be projected as an entertainment portal, not a platform where players will turn to addiction to gambling, but these are all recommendations it's not within their control if gamblers choose to play long hours and wage a lot of money, reputable casinos may see this as alarming but other casinos will see this as good for their business.

I think they are just warning their players and reminding them to play and bet responsibly but they won't mind if players are falling into gambling addiction because it isn't their responsibility to monitor them. It is our personal obligation to control our gambling urge.
They are promoting responsible gambling but they wouldn't do it charitably because their main goal is to earn and to keep their business running. Business is business after all.

They have to take good care of their players because if all the gamblers become addict, it can also hurt the reputation of the site and of course there will be no gambler that can bring fresh money for the site, so this can be a big loss to them that's why they encourage everyone to be more responsible and don't gamble beyond their means. I believe this is also part of their strategy and yeah a corporate social responsibility, if the site cares about their players most probably they will attract more.

Well, let's face it, online casinos aren't running a charity, they're in it to make some green. And how do they do that? By stacking the odds in their favor in games of chance, where the house always wins...eventually. So, the reality is that most players will be walking away empty-handed in the long run.

Online casinos benefit from players losing money, but they also benefit from players having a positive experience and the potential to return and play again in the future. That's why they push the whole "gamble responsibly" and "just for fun" thing - they don't want a bunch of unhappy losers badmouthing them through negative reviews or false accusations on social media, and potentialy ruining their reputation.

Whether they like it or not the house edge will beat gamblers in a long run, and they will not change that even if they will not enjoy seeing gamblers losing money, they have operational costs and profits to maintain

That is why they have KYC and they asked for vital information to check if they have compulsive gamblers playing on their platform, and they don't want to get the blame for the miseries gamblers are facing with their losses

They can only advice but they cannot impose, it's hard to trace who among their players who are gambling irresponsibly and it would be unfair if they keep banning account without evidence of iresponsible gambling

Not all gamblers will read this, they know, that they already know this but it's different when they are actually playing, although its recommended gamblers will always prefer experience than recomendation.

That's true but nevertheless they never loose if a gambler looses or win and as the fact says, they earn a commission from every gamblers attempt to bet and if they will they also have a little cut they benefits and if the gambler looses as well they have nothing to loose, what the casinos work on is to generate traffic, whereby alot of gamblers will be using their platform to gamble and place bet in which they have their own little incentives from only this actions alone.

I'd like to believe that they only want responsible gamblers to patronize them.

To give a patronage and stay, but what determines the gambler's stay is the satisfaction they derived in their customer service, starting from when they were been attended to on first approach.

We'd probably never know ngl. Sure, I'd also like to think that casinos don't really want their users to gamble away their money irresponsibly (they'd still lose, but in a more controlled manner) but the thing is that's most likely just the from they need to comply hence why they post stuff like that. Either way, they'd still profit regardless of people playing responsibly or not. Ofc, I don't really mind (and neither should others really) whether they want me to gamble responsibly or not, it's my choice anyway and I don't really need to put the responsibility for them when I'm just using their services.

They are just saying this as a reminder, and this also needs to be put up on the website to follow the legalities of their casino, and it is also just showing them that they are taking care of those gamblers who play on their platform. It is still up to you on how you would prevent yourself from getting addicted to gambling or control yourself, as for sure if you get addicted, they will not help you. That is why those reminders are posted for you as a guide on how to prevent the addiction to it.

Casino is a business sector just like thousands of others, it good that they have some warnings for the bettors but how much people really going to pay attention to it anyway. If one who wants to gamble all their money they will features like self exclusion can't stop them too because they can jump one from another within a matter of minutes so what can we do is to teach the upcoming generation about every kind of addiction as early as possible.

They really not happy when their player is losing some money but they don’t have a choice because they enter this kind of industry which players need to lose in able for them to have a profit and continue the casino operations. I believe they want players to become responsible gambler so that they will not ruin there life and continue gambling in the long run because having a stable source profit is much better than having one time big time win for the casino.

As a gambler. We are all aiming for the casino to lose against us. I believe they are doing the same for the sake of their company. Not personally.

maybe some casinos have issued warnings about betting responsibly, but these warnings are always ignored by gamblers who have the mindset of gambling to double their money.
because every gambler has different principles, there are those who are responsible for betting just for fun with money they can afford to lose, and there are also gamblers who have the principle of doubling money at gambling (especially gambling addicts).

so that these warnings will often be ignored by some gamblers who are obviously not responsible for betting, but will always be paid attention to by gamblers who have full responsibility for their bets.
but after all, this kind of thing is indeed very difficult even though the casino always gives a warning but it all comes back to each gambler.

No God or Kings, only BITCOIN.
I think it's just for publicity sake and wouldn't it be just always a disclaimer since they are being regulated? I don't think they got that obligation in the first place because if they do then they should have helped those problem gamblers if they could identify each one of them. Isn't that ironic?

Most of them are giving the reminder to be a responsible gambler and they're giving access to everyone to self-exclude.

Well, they're a business and yeah of course they also care for their customers and want only the responsible ones to retain.

And one thing for sure is that, they're not a charity and it's known to the most who are their target market.

It's not like they will ban you if you become a gambling addict by betting huge amount of money on their platform. The reason for that is they don't want to be responsible of every gambler's fault that's why they have a guidelines or disclaimer if it's different platforms. Just like in investment, they will always put it in their platform "Invest at your own risk" and in a crypto platform I know is they put "price may increase or decrease so invest at your own risk". That explains why they put up a guideline and casino is also a business after all.
