19 Sol with i5 and GTX together? Rather average I would say.
My i5-5675c (Broadwell, just done a test hour, don´t mining permanently with it) delivers 16 / 20 Sol with 3 / 4 mining tasks.
by average sir you mean not good but not too bad?
im now into mining rather than trading so im looking for a good rig that will give me atleast 0.01 btc a day or 0.01zec a day that is also good for my electricity bill, i mean i have profit even if i pay my electricity bill using miners
would you recommend some for me sir?

By the way - @eXtremal is a CPU miner intended for your pool?

...
Where it is, the binary for Ubuntu 16.04 ?
Have you the name of the package to install OpenCL in Ubuntu 16.04 (it is absoltly necessary for a miner with only nvidia cards) ?
Thanks.

binary for ubuntu iz in the zip file. There are both exe files and linux executable files in the zip.

I am running ubuntu 14.04 headless mode and its running fine.

zcashgpuclient
zcashgpuclient.exe
zcashgpuclient_silentarmy
zcashgpuclient_silentarmy.exe

the .exe ones are for windows and others are for linux.

silentarmy did less hashrate on my linux rig with 3 AMD 280x and one 270 total 4 GPU.

My average hashrate is 53 sols. is that good?

Thank you :-).

I found the solution , just remove put instancese for silent army from 2 to 1 and it starts working!!!!!!!!!!!!!

unbelivable! Thank you! that helped! Got 0.2.3 working now Smiley

I could run silentarm with instances=1 but gives me less hashrate than non silentarmy version.

maybe this silentarmy version is good for newer gpus.

Where to added instances=1?
config.txt
inside zcashclient folder
I added
# instances

instances = ["1"];

but is still disaper.

@eXtremal, 4 days passed. i sent you email, pm. but never receive the zec.
whats wrong? is there any other miner who don't get any zec?
Your message is wrong.
Is it your address t1bRbqsC7x13WxGqG4VngbSViPPoPwJjPdk ? You have 0.0196 ZEC payed and 0.0015 on balance. If you want get 0.0015, press "request payout" button and wait ~1 hour.

@extremal:

Can you please tell me why i just get this with silentarmy version?
I asked and ask but never get answer...

Connecting to frontend: coinsforall.io:6668 ...
ERROR: invalid hostname and/or port.

Getting always this error with all your versions..somehow you never responds to that bug.

As stated 4-5times earlier if i use the zcashgpuclient.exe it works. So something is wrong with the parsing..or do i need to enter something different?
Sounds like a conf file have you checked it carefully or changed anything in it? 1 space off will mess ya up lol

server = "coinsforall.io";port = "6668";# Your ZCASH payout addressaddress = "t1xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx";#  etc.

I don't think its a bug.... if it were, more of us using W7 64 and 8 (yuk) would be seeing same issue

It actually is. We see that on several, especially the faster, miners. If you set "Instances" to "1" in the config, it is gone. I would put this on a timing issue when opening the sockets for both instances. Meanwhile, you still can start 2 instances manually again...

@espressodelisi how I wrote here several times - a simple "GPU-crashed"- and "lost-connection"-watchdog is really required here.

I have a small problem with this miner:

Sometimes it hangs sending share to pool and stays there untill I manually ssh to my rig and close the miner with ctrl-c and restart it again. Tonight I lost about 7 hours because of this.

I am using ubuntu 14.04 with AMD gpus and running non silentarmy version. (silentarmy version did less hashrate on my rig. maybe its amd drivers issue, I'm am still using 15.xx drivers)

Why https://github.com/zcminer-dev/zcminer/ with Linux Z-cash miner doesn't work? Any suggestions?

zcminer
A CUDA Equihash / ZCash miner miner with developer fee

Features
Currently running at ~50 Sols/s on a slightly overclocked GTX 1070
Supporting Pascal, Maxwell & Kepler GPUs
This miner is still in a very early state and will probably not run stable. Using a script to periodically restart the miner might be a good idea...
