@extremal:

Can you please tell me why i just get this with silentarmy version?
I asked and ask but never get answer...

Connecting to frontend: coinsforall.io:6668 ...
ERROR: invalid hostname and/or port.

Getting always this error with all your versions..somehow you never responds to that bug.

As stated 4-5times earlier if i use the zcashgpuclient.exe it works. So something is wrong with the parsing..or do i need to enter something different?
Sounds like a conf file have you checked it carefully or changed anything in it? 1 space off will mess ya up lol

server = "coinsforall.io";port = "6668";# Your ZCASH payout addressaddress = "t1xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx";#  etc.

I don't think its a bug.... if it were, more of us using W7 64 and 8 (yuk) would be seeing same issue

Fighting mob law and inquisition in this forum
its the standard config..you can't change the host man just use your brain.
You see where it want to connect I just changed the zcash wallet thats all nothing more..but this is obvious thing you can change only and the card config.
As I mentioned 10000000 times before I am using Windows 10 64bit and I also tried Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 but the result is always the same..I posted that many times before..so sorry iff I just get pissed about the same dumb question about an obvious issue with the miner.

It isn't working since the first time he compiled the :silentarmy thing..and no its not my dns not my connection and not whatever i tested different ISP, different os different computer the result is always the same.
While the standard client without _silentarmy connects to the same host with the same config just fine..frustration and repeating it over and over again makes it not better so extremal should tell me whats wrong.

I'm trying the 0.2.3 but I get an error:

Code:
This address is not valid ZCash T-address: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx...

With 0.2.2. no problem, but impossible uses 0.2.3 due to this error. Using the same config.txt.

Anyone with the same issue?

Have you looked in your device manager to be sure both cards are showing under display tab? and if so, check the driver dates etc.  I'm sure you have, but just throwing it out there.

You may want to reinstall drivers. Also delete the "bin" files created in the miner, close it and reboot your pc and try to launch again. I run both of those cards but on different rigs... no issues with the 16.10 drivers  Wink

This 0.2.3 is awesome! Cool
My single R9 290x raises from ~29 Sol to ~32 Sol
My three R9 Nanos from ~32 Sol to almost 44 Sol, very cool!

And if I watch the GPU's load/utilization ratios at Afterburner (ups and downs) - there is even more potential for an upcoming silentarmy version!
