SEC asks for emergency order to freeze Binance US assets anywhere in the world

Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) ne Washington D.C. ke federal court mein emergency motion file kiya hai jismein unhon ne judge se appeal ki hai ke Binance ke U.S. platform ke assets ko freeze kiya jaye aur service ke customers ke pass rakhi gayi fiat currency aur crypto ko wapas laya jaye.

Freezing order sirf Binance ke do U.S. holding companies par lagu hoga aur iska asar non-U.S. regulated international exchange par nahi hoga. Ye order Axos Bank defunct Silvergate Bank Prime Trust aur dusre institutions mein rakhe gaye dozens of accounts par lagu hoga.

SEC ke mutabiq Zhao ke control mein rakhne wali do foreign entities, Sigma Chain aur Merit Peak billions of dollars ke customer money ko Binance ke funds ke saath ghalat tarike se mix karne ke kaam aayi hain.

SEC ne Binance aur Zhao ke khilaf lawsuit file kiya hai jismein unhone thirteen alag alag counts par aarop lagaye hain ki exchange aur Zhao ne investors ko dhoka dene ka kaam kiya funds ko ghalat tarike se mix kiya aur registered broker dealer aur clearing house ke roop mein kaam kiya.

Regulator ne ye emergency restraining order maangha hai taki judgment ke liye maujood assets ka pheylav roka jaye, kyun ki Defendants ne United States ke laws ko bina parwah kiye years tak rule-breaking ki hai.

Ye order Binance ke founder Changpeng Zhao, ko bhi majboor karta hai show cause karne ke liye ki kyun ek preliminary injunction Zhao aur uske do holding companies ke khilaf nahi jari kiya jana chahiye. Ye restraining order sabhi teen entities ko bhi evidence ko destroy karne se rokta hai.

Ishtehaar mein SEC ne darkhaast ki hai ke Binance ki assets ko jamah karke receiver tayen kiya jaye. Binance ne is ilzam ke jawab mein kaha hai ke ye complaint dilchasp nahi hai aur woh apne platform ki qawi tareeqe se hifazat karne ka irada rakhte hain. SEC ne ye bhi ilzam lagaya hai ke Binance ne apne affiliated tokens ke zariye securities bechne ki sahi permission nahi li.
