This is an extremely accurate statement. Many people invest in crypto because they are introduced and they think that it will not be risky, so when the fluctuations happen they are very bewildered and sold off all to get back their capital.

FOMO is driving a lot of this mania. People see (or more likely, they THINK they see) everyone else making tons of money on Bitcoin and crypto, and they pile into it with no regard for how it works or what determines the price, and that's not a sound basis for making an investment decision. That's a classic action in a bubble. People losing a lot of money is the only thing that restore sanity to all this has become.

Yeah i'm really panic for now because of a big dump on NXT which made it loss 40~50% in only 3 days ? WTF is happening with NXT, i think this is the time for me to be chilled and don't panic selling.

Mostly people when purchase a Bitcoin they want to earn maximum profit on it. This is the general thinking to earn profit but in the market there is lot of ups and downs according to time. And traders are know this very well, when the price of Bitcoin is getting low they don’t show any reaction but as compare of those people who are lay man they are so worried to see the market situation and ready to sale out their Bitcoin even at low price. This trend is not right just hold you’re Bitcoin, as the price again rise and touches its peak, then you sale and earn good profit.

everyone will follows normally, selling huge amounts of bitcoins or alts with a lower price just to secure profit normally followed by other people because it is like a chain effect on their minds that the coin itself is dumping but in fact it is just because of one person selling huge amount.

as a trader you should be able to learn to control your emotions and patience, if we can not control our emotions then we will decide to panic sell, and that makes you lose, if stuck in high price then try to play altcoin that accept bitcoin payment or you just hold your bitcoin until the price goes back up.

In my opinion, it is not the time to panic selling your bitcoin, if you don’t need some extra cash don’t sell it. Bitcoin price just drops down because of the season; many people are selling their bitcoin because they want money or real money to buy the things they want or maybe to buy some stuff for Thanksgiving. Perhaps that is the reason why bitcoin price drops down so don’t over think this is not the end of bitcoin to do some panic selling.

Panic selling I think isn't the best way to gain profit especially as a trader. Quite the contrary, traders who patiently wait for the right moment usually achieve very good advantage. Panic selling only creates losses that don't match previous predictions.

Pannic selling will loss all you profit, if you invest in bitcoindont do that. Just wait and hold your bitcoin becuase bitcoinill recover soon i think in the year end bitcoin will bullish. So stay calm.

yes it is true .. panic will only be a loss, the usual price reduction crypto, profit and loss is a common thing in investment. yes it is true at this time many people especially I feel panic and confused what to do so see bitcoin prices continue to fall. I personally do not know what to do sell btc at this time before the price really fall or persist and expect bitcoin price will rise again. it all makes me a dilemma to choose if I sell I'm afraid the price will go back up and I am in trouble. there is someone there who can predict bitcoin for the future ... truth this time bitcoin really go down and sometimes i felt regret why i did not convert my bitcoin when it's in the high value but i also think what if tomorrow it will be more bigger ,sometimes it is really confusing and get panic. what i just do is always think the positive side that this coming 2018 bitcoin will rise up again.
