Of course patience isn't everything you need to success in crypto do you expect that every investment you made would grow if you would just wait for it?
It doesn't work that way you need to know where and when to buy or sell those crypto to maximize your profit.

HODL,I think this only makes sense for bitcoin and major altcoins.If you had received and hold bnb last year, you could earn good money right now or ethereum.But if you do this with shit coins the result may be disappointing
What is a major altcoin could be something to discuss. For example at some period XRP was a huge one, and it is still in top 10 if I am not wrong, but that doesn't change the fact that bitcoin moved nearly 10x in the past year, ethereum did something similar, BNB did even bigger, while XRP did maybe 2x at best. Look at BCH, it was fourth biggest one at some point, now so low, BSV was actually a top 10 huge coin as well, now down a lot as well.Just because some coins went up doesn't mean it is good, when others do 10x another coin going 2x is actually bad. So long story short being major altcoin is disputable, some coins are major now and may not be major later on, whereas some coins who are not major at all, could become major soon. Which is why people are not saying holding for a long time on a major coin is not the way, that is the correct way, but which ones are the major ones?
yap thats right patient is a key or dont have to look to chart everyday we must buy and forget about it but ofcourse with good coin to choose

It's good to have patience but crypto is different, you have to do more than having patience especially if you are holding altcoins, you have to be on your guide and always watch the Altcoins development always, most new projects are very good at changing their roadmaps and extending things unnecessarily, that is one big sign of lack of seriousness

Patience is not for Alts, especially shit coins (projects that are obviously inactive). Patience is only for BTC.

it all depends on the project and sometimes the patience that we do will lead us to destruction because the coin is dead and can't rise. holding only for coins that already have a large volume (not for new projects)

Of course patience is not always good, sometimes it works not for us but against us. Such strategy works only with trustworthy coins and there is always a high risk to lose even in this case. If I was patient in 2018 as for lots of altcoins that wrre on the wallet I would lost everything those year.

I hate seeing my holdings of coins going completely off but such projects are often seen im crypto market because of no real regulation and no control over project and people behind them, it is the end user that has to face the risk so it is always better to cashout partially whenever we can. 
It is wrong if you say patient is not key, patient is a key but you need to doit in the right places and the right time, if you buy a coin then you need to do some research before you buy it and Hodl it with patient untill the coin going to the moon.
Sometimes you need to find a line between when you need to sell a token on time at a good price, I agree with the author, patience does not always bring the desired result, so in any suitable situation, you need to sell your asset.
Actually patience good about way for all top currency. You can feel like BTC and ETH price now because very long time later there going to up. Recently i have been sold ame token price of $0.05 but now price move forward $0.14. otherwise you should analysis more before holding a coin then you can gonna more patience.
If you put all of your money in an overhyped or shit project and thinking that patience will give you benefits in long term then you have the wrong mindset. If I had patience with my BTC holding from 2017 then I already made more than 25X by this time. So patience is everything but you need to choose the right project for that.

That's right, what you say is something that everyone who is involved in crypto should do so they don't always depend on other people because what has been said may not be what you want.even though the most important thing is to continue to learn to be able to determine and analyze yourself and do whatever we will execute. of course with the results of what we have done before so that it becomes the best learning. if we don't have the confidence to do it ourselves then we will continue to depend on other people, obviously not good.
