I'm very glad that countries around the world are starting to think about accepting and legalizing bitcoin, these are new technologies, and we have not been in the last century for a long time.

Our country just recently held a seminar introducing bitcoin in our country. The said seminar were facilitated
by bitcoin experts and government officials in pursuit of using bitcoin as another form of payment and regulation of it as well.

It was very start of the march 2018 when it get confirmed that bitcoin will now again will allow to use by the people under few rules of regulation and I think this new descion of the Philippines really give a positive impact towards the mentilty of those people who always kept saying that bitcoin is not legal ( and forcing people to not use to bitcoin ) .
But still here I am thinking that people should share such types of news at social media like many people are sharing negative news and fek rumours about cryptourrency to dump the market , so here we can do our best about bitcoin and another cryptourrency to make better grow with such types of positive news and information to share in social media .

It is good news that Philippines has started accepting bitcoin. It think other countries would follow soon. As bitcoin is here to stay, avoiding it wouldn't be a wise decision.

This is good news for the people of the Philippines, who can legally conduct bitcoin transactions. I think the Philippine government has made the right choice, which will help the development of the national economy.

That is a good move from the government of the people of Philippine because in this way the government will be able to at list put some regulations and control of bitcoin in other to prevent or minimize the level of crimes carrying out  using bitcoin/cryptocurrencies it will also help the economy of the country to grow and bring financial development both for the citizens and government.

the Philippines is very quick to see opportunities in cryptocurrency, I see many countries that actually accept the existence of Bitcoin just not acceptable as a means of payment on the grounds will be used as terrorist funding and other crimes..

That's nice to know since a lot of Filipinos are waiting for the legatility of bitcoin. Most of investora and traders are from the Philippines and I'm so sure that most of them will benefit the freedom of bitcoin's legality. However, I think the Philippines will tax it but I wish they would not. Good to know that some countries are already accepting bitcoin.

nice!
Nice to know that here in the Philippines accepting bitcoin. I"m so glad and thankful they where openminded in this business.
It is surely a big thing for a developing country to accept cryptocurrency system in terms of transactions, investments and trading that could definitely gives people a chance to earn and to gain profit more than the expected regular job basis. It could also provide a faster and more reliable form of transaction for future transactions.

They should have been doing these kind of things a long time ago. Philippines is always delayed in innovations and is always catching up with technology. They should fund these types of seminars because it brings financial awareness to the people and later on reduce poverty. I as a pinoy want to attend in this seminar because I want to broaden my knowledge about cryptos.
That sounds really good if they are accepting the fact that bitcoin may bring to the country. Though you have a point about the delays of something 'in' or what's new to Philippines, people may adapt the trend eventually. The main concern is it is not yet accepted as a whole but just partly accepted in the Philippines. As we all know or some foreign people know there are three main lands in the Philippines and each of the main lands are probably generating and accepting bitcoin.

I am a filipino and i am impressed that there are slowly starting to accept it in our country because there are some issues last year about the bitcoins that the government is saying that we mustbstay away from bitcoins because there are no one man in bitcoins so if we losses money we cannot know who to blame. Which is really not the point because before you get involve in this you must know that kind of thing. And there are also some people that are using the name of bitcoins in order to dp some scams. Stay away from that.

I am also a filipino. And hearing this news is a bit surprising since there are countries that banned bitcoin and back then I'm afraid that my country, which is the philippines, would do the same, and that is to banned the people from involving into bitcoin because as what the news said, when you lost your money, you don't know who to blame and whatsoever news about bitcoin. Now, that my country has been welcoming and having this kind of seminar is a good thing and im glad with this.

i have heard that many people has been scammed by those people who says who are greedy and dont want to earn money in a clean way, thats why the government doesnt allow it truly, and it is not yet regulated but in some cases they also believe that bitcoin is good for the people it helps them to create and extra money from them, sooner or later i believe that your country will believe it like what what we trust bitcoin.

I see some people here from the Philippines who are saying that they think their country is behind other countries in adopting Bitcoin. I am not certain that that is the case, countries like the Philippines might actually have an opportunity to pass the rest of the world with their adoption of technologies like Bitcoin. This happened before with mobile vs fixed line telephones for example.

I'm a Filipino too, and I live in the Philippines. Sorry, but I never heard nor there was news (as what you've said) that the Philippines "just recently held a seminar introducing bitcoin in our country". Maybe, you just misread the said article, 5 Things I Learned about Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency by a certain Christian Viñas...

Quote
At the Blockchain and Bitcoin Conference Philippines held at Edsa Shangri-La Hotel last month, leaders and experts of cryptocurrency, as well as business and government representatives, came to Manila to talk about its advantages and its future applications in the industry.

So, it's very clear, not government officials but government representatives.
