This coin looks like it could be interesting but ill hold off until the use case is fully explained. right now it seems like people are buying it simply for masternodes.

More than the coin, the project is interesting. There is a marketplace releasing soon in beta version. 2018 roadmap looks promising and interesting. I would recommend you to join discord channel, devs are always giving support there and answering questions. They also made public when they hire new people (quite often) and announcements.

I don´t think people are in only for masternodes, check how many masternodes are and the circulating supply. Said that MN are needed for the network, of course.

I currently have 129 PHR and haven't started staking them. Is this good enough to stake? I mean, I only have a few and I know that I won't get that  much and might take a while to gain some rewards. Can't buy 10k for a masternode as of the moment.

You should try these guys out -> https://stakinglab.io/
I had 230 phr and got 1 stake in like 10 days. Then I joined these guys and got some more stakes.
They will do a MasterNode once we reach the 10k coins.

Good luck!

Actually, I think that a DEX isn't such a bad idea, the adoption of these Decentralized Exchanges is very slow. I wish people would understand that this is needed in the current situation.

would love to trade PHR at cryptobridge, you guys should check it as an alternative to cryptopia.

It's not an alternative, volume on crypto-bridge is ridiculously low. It's nice exchange though.

It will take off. I think decentralized exchanges will be very busy over the next few years. Might be a good idea to get on them now.

That's a tricky one. Having too many exchanges can dilute trading volume, so it is important to add more exchanges at the right time.

That said, as far as I understand cryptobridge is an altcoin, and holders make a profit for each exchange done? Does that mean the price of bridgecoin would potentially impact trading on cryptobridge?

How can a large number of exchanges reduce the volume of trades Huh
Usually volumes only increase!

Depends I guess. If people are "forced" to trade on a small number of exchanges, all the volume will be concentrated there. If you add other exchanges, new people might come in, but some of the trade from the existing exchanges might also move to the new exchange.

I am just a bit sceptical because I have seen coins with 5+ exchanges, and 3 or 4 of them had < 1 BTC volume, which seems a bit pointless.

You can stake with every amount, of course it will take much longer to catch a reward, but you should do it. I'm staking about 750 PHR and got rewards on 31.12., 03.01. and 04.01., not bad but maybe it was luck.

Anyone having issues with Mac OS and Phore wallet? Wallet is fully synchronized. I added 'staking = 1' into config file and now I can't open the wallet. Any pointers?

I am use MAC wallet . The staking works fine. I already receive multi coins .

Did you check 2018 roadmap? Every Quarter gets more interesting than the previous one. Team is really active developing and making real each milestone promised.
Plus, if you check the graph, we are just in the accumulation phase, after that everybody knows what will come.
Masternodes are important for this project, and you get the chance not only to help the network and be an inside member, but get daily rewards as well.
