This is 100% SCAM. Be carefull if someone offer you coin but to claim you must send fee/deposit.
Airdrops is free coin like a Giveaway, if the airdrop need fee to received coin. This is not airdrop.
Yes, these are just scams and it can only fool new entrants into this market. If a project requires us to send some ETH to unlock or receive their tokens, it is definitely shady and we need to stay away.

No legit project requires you to send money to receive tokens, and your friend calls it an airdrop? That is not an airdrop, they just take advantage of it to steal your money. Stay away from projects that require deposits to receive tokens. Those are bullshit projects and will never make you profit

Hi All, a friend send me a message with info about a new token name NLC (Night Light Coin) with domain nlccoin.com
But the condition to receive the token airdrop is have to transfer ETH to this address: 0x36afEe66EA8d6a99A9c6c7e676D512eA4A19bC83
I'm not sure if this project is real or from any scammer to cheat everyone. Please give me some advice
Thank you

Let's go like this, how will you feel, paying your boss a little amount of money in order for him to pay you back your salary? This is just the clear explanation on what they are asking you to do; after promoting the project for them, instead of paying you or sending your reward, you are now required to send ETH to them, you will agree with me that, it doesn't make sense. So in my own opinion, forget about it and don't bother sending any ETH, you will only end up lossing entirely.

This is an old scam, so don't be fooled by these scams. When you send ETH to them, your money will definitely disappear and you will receive bullshit tokens. If you want tokens then go here and participate in the bounty, you will receive valuable tokens and can sell them.

This is just a trick to make money by cheating people. Many are deceived in this way. We should learn from these things. We have never heard of joining Airdrop with sending ETH. This is a totally fake project.

Those are free tokens? So why do you need to transfer ETH to them to get those bullshit tokens? Obviously it's a scam and they are trying to steal money from your pocket. If you want to support them then send ETH and get that token, and if you don't want it, you should stay away from them as far as possible.

many cases like this. sometimes even some fraudsters want to give the money they make, it's just that there are certain reasons for their funds to be withdrawn. because of that, they are looking for victims to send money to them so that the money in their account can be withdrawn. Well, the thing that was delivered today was very similar to something like that. avoid all the things that make you send money first.

Classic scam i guess, that is not the appropriate way to doing airdrop.
Airdrop should be free and doesn't requiring any coin to transfer. They will scam you, trust me.
If you transfer coin and get the token, then you are not participating airdrop, you are investing like investors.

because it was a exchange project I think it was a scam because it was very strange if the copyright on the exchange originated from 2018 while they registered the domain in 2020, it should be that if the new exchange they had to adjust to the domain because all exchanges were like that, and also the internal exchange was very bad so I guess they really intend to make a scam project.

Airdrop is free, of you are not comfortable joining an airdrop either if it requires you to send an "X" amount, do KYC, or require complicated task, just skip it. I honestly think that most airdrop nowadays are not worth joining, but I am not saying that there are no good airdrops there anymore.

asking ETH to get the token is very clear scam and avoid airdrops or anything that asks for it. some time ago the bounty who did that was https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bounty-nodvix-24-hour-p2p-broadcasting-platform-master-nodes-5047860

For the sake of interest, I checked the information in Etherschan at the address of the smart contract of the NLC token - 0x05007434b72a5e99348186f45fcd3660917da683.  To my surprise, I did not see any sources of information about this project.  In any case, I would not send ethereum in order to get a "pig in a poke."  In order to make a profitable investment and get a real asset in return for your money, you first need to really get all the available information about the project and about the possible prospects of these tokens in the future.

I think what is needed is in-depth research about the project. Caution is needed because when market conditions are not good, many people take advantage of the situation and with research, we can identify whether the project is good or not

If it is n airdrop then asking for eth to receive token in return then it is definitely a scam. As far as I remember legit airdrop is not asking anything in return it is given freely to every participants in the said aridrop. Avoid making any contacts with such projects asking for something in return while they are giving it for free.

An airdrop that are asking for eth or any currencies that has a value are scam because your genuine money will be converted only to a shit currencies that has no value. So it is better that you should stay away from it as it is 99% scam and you only have 1% chance that it is real even if it will tell you that you will receive like 300-1000$ in that airdrop in exchange to your 1-10$ in Eth or other currencies that has a value.

Don't fall to this kind of attempt, knowing that scammers are very wise and keep on evolving their tactics every now and then.

Do not send etherum to anybody or any projects at all. Airdrops are termed free money, which means It is supposed to be a gift or reward to you for a good job done.

If any body or any t project asks you for funds, it is fake
