Hi All, a friend send me a message with info about a new token name NLC (Night Light Coin) with domain nlccoin.com
But the condition to receive the token airdrop is have to transfer ETH to this address: 0x36afEe66EA8d6a99A9c6c7e676D512eA4A19bC83
I'm not sure if this project is real or from any scammer to cheat everyone. Please give me some advice
Thank you
if you need to send eth just to recieve airdrop thats not an airdrop but your are buying thier token in exchange for your ETH.
I dont know about that project but using that method is wrong to have airdrop participants.

I suggest to you not to send any amount just stored your eth in your wallet.

Not all projects asking you to send ETH first to receive coins are fraudulent but this project seems as the selfdrop requires you not only to send money first but stresses on completing KYC too to trade the token. The token hasn't been listed yet but promises to be listed in future. The tokens they are sending out are just worth $10. Not worth to do KYC for this amount.

Airdrops and giveaways are free, if they are asking you to pay for the airdrops then the guy is trying to scam you by not telling you the truth, they are selling their airdrops or wants crowdfunding distinguishing itself as an airdrop, so better not to fall for it, because they are very deceitful.

I think this is clearly a scam because this project is so closed and also the target of future exchanges with large exchanges so how can the project get money with the results of Airdrop? far from success do not be tempted by airdrops like this if success is too long it will die like the previous project.
Social media and the team do not display on its website. You need to be careful.

Limited in number. Limitless in potential.

Base on the transaction history of that address, I might say yes, they might send you the token or maybe no. But seriously, for what reason you will send eth to them? That token seems spam and there's no future of it, it doesn't even have any information on their contract address such website, and social media links -> https://etherscan.io/token/0x05007434B72A5E99348186F45fcd3660917Da683

So I suggest just ignore it, as you've read, airdrop will not require you to send eth to someone so that you will receive the token, it just like a scammy giveaway which is famous in any social media platform such twitter.

I'm sure it's 70% scam, because in my opinion and based on my experience also while playing in the world of bounties and airdrops, no airdrops or even bounties ask to be transferred first. it's very similar to the usual scam scheme that occurs in telegrams, someone sends a private message to you about investing and being told to deposit, you will get profits many times over. so, in my opinion you should not do it.

If an airdrop is asking you to send eth to a certain address, you should suspect as a scam.
There is no legit airdrop that gives a coin in exchange for money. Airdrop should be free and was not distributed with fees. Don't be fool by their trick, avoid it as much as you can.

If someone is asking for money, then is a big red sign.
Usually the true projects runs IEOs on exchanges, and even that are in the majority of the cases scams.
Asking ETH or any other crypto for an Airdrop, is 100% scam.

P.S. I don't advise to visit that website, smells fishy.

Airdrop mean's free Coin or Token, if needed to transfer first some amount then it's not airdrop, it's like Token Sale and usually it's scam

You shouldn't have to send ETH to receive an airdrop. Airdrops are supposed to be free coins "airdropped" to people so that early adoption and use is encouraged.

Hey. I am not an expert in scam projects, but now I will read and tell my initial opinion, and then I will additionally turn to the mail, which, I hope, the creator indicated.

I read a white paper, in principle, the idea is not new. That is, with a successful launch, you can wait for your profit. The only question remains is whether they will be able to start work, having received money? Not sure. I wrote them a letter in the mail. And I saw a small mistake with the translation, as it turned out, the one who made the site - from Turkey. Are you by any chance not from Turkey? This will shed more light on the situation, thanks.
