Poker is a global game and integrating it into Stake will boost their traffic level because poker is an internationally known game and among the most referenced casino games,  I don't know what the main reason for the special attention to poker games

I was actually comparing it to the largest poker network currently which is ggpoker. Aside from that, stars and wsop is probably pretty popular in US as well so starting your own network is actually not a good decision. Well of course its Stake we are talking about, they could spend millions for months on developing their own poker and it would never harm them at all so yeah


give us your opinion on this in case you will try them in the future. Im not sure how strict Stake is with their VPN policy, pretty tempted to use VPN to access stake.us once they launch it there

Good update i must say, i personally have never played poker before, and neither do i know how to play it, but i do have friends who are really into the game, and in the area where i live, one will have to travel several miles to find a physical casino where they can play poker, since the online casinos that offer the game is very limited.

The news of the game coming to stake is a good one sincerely, and since they have chosen to test it on the us version of the site for now, all i can hope is that all goes well as they expect, so that they can also get the game listed on the main stake .com site, i possibly may learn to play through my friends if they get the game integrated on the main site.

Dry compared to slots maybe, but it has like a 100 million online poker players. Lots of them, like i have to play it somewhere else as stake doesn't yet provide it, but i would move to stake for poker in a heartbeat. And sites i trust and use make me download a software to play it with. Which is ok as an app with a phone but not for my pc laptop. Well GG is really the biggest network but creating your own would have some merit I think. You can keep all your profits and just pay for the development.
Also, if you want to join a network this would make KYC mandatory, which would also be a big change for stake. Joining a network would open stake up for money laundering ( deposit at stake -> lose the money to for example a gg poker account -> withdraw ). So I think they would prefer to keep the action "in house" .

Are there really that strict location rules? I know in Germany because of their stupid gambling tax it is hard to play poker unless the network makes specific rules for German players. Other than that I didn't hear anything about it.

Well first of all, the poker market is pretty dry and there isnt that many money to be made unless they integrated themselves with the GGpoker network which is currently the biggest poker network around. Yeah, I don't understand why stake is taking so long. Poker is the one they they are missing, basically what the whole crypto gambling thing is missing. There is so much money to be made without any risk, just make the platform and collect rake. With such a huge player base it's such a waste to not implement it faster!

When it comes to Stake doing what ever GGnetwork is doing, Stake got the money, they have the connections, they have the userbase, and lastly and importantly, they have the experience, all the matter is their decision to go ahead or not.

Everyone has different preferences, and mixed games are definitely needed. Personally, I prefer to play mostly NLH, especially multi-table tournaments. Anyway, if the Stake team can create its own private network, it will be great. Although as I mentioned earlier, it will be very hard for them to compete with giants like GGNetwork.

As the game is in demand and have large scale users base who will be ready to jump into the game when it will be added.So there might be assumptions that it will be added to stake although we can't say anything unless the official statement comes from the team.They are renowned in this market so they will look after the needs of gamblers and will implement decision based on it.

Mixed games should be there 100%. I don't remember the last time I played NLH, it's just too boring in my opinion.
