Personally, I think home schooling is a terrible idea, because it's essentially a parent saying to their kid, "you're only going to be as good as I am." I can see homeschooling be "OK" for the first few grades (though you'll be limiting your kid's social education and can make them somewhat awkward), but regardless of the educational materials used, I just can't see a parent, short of having multiple degrees in multiple subjects, as being comparable to teachers who actually studied and specialized in those subjects...
True, but you don't have the social awkwardness and bullyness the school system provies. When I was down in central Florida for my jr year, all the high schools down ther have on-duty police officers for crowd control.
I was a total social retard. I think I had, like, one friend the entire time I was there. I'm still defending high school.
I was part of the quiet bunch myself. I did my academics and didn't talk to anyone else.. that was until I found the internet lol.
