Electroneum has been at a steady decline for the past couple of weeks now. I don't really know what's the reason for the decline. And it seems the hype around the project is gone.. Even the trading volume has dried up. The team needs to release more updates from that to Time to keep things active. I'm not happy with the decline. I bought ETN around 778 sats  with 0.1 BTC. It's now worth somewhere around 0.035 BTC. What a loss.

is it just the high hashrate of the network or is there a 51% attack on its way?

I dont mind the asics (for now) so they can dump a little bit and I can buy cheap... and when the hardfork comes along the price will adjust Smiley

Please don't start the chat about an attack as there is nothing to be gained either way.

anyone here experience problem with import from paper wallet? anyone know how to fix it? Sad

What is the nature of your problem, a bit more detail may help us fix it, but I think the Electroneum network is having some problems at the moment so that is probably not helping.
Links that may help.

Bad days for Electroneum. Seems like I made a mistake by buying a heck of it just a few days back, without thinking about the outcome of ASIC miners.

Right now, everything seems messed up with Electroneum. Recently, my withdrawal from Kucoin to Electroneum mobile wallet went through without any confirmation for more than 24 hours and then just disappeared. I've not received any reply to my ticket from Kucoin yet, and it has been more than a few days already. On the other hand, ETN's value getting crushed due to crazy mining (and then dumping) of ASICs. Roll Eyes

I know what you are going through with Kucoin, they were good to start with and there customer support was great, but they soon became too big too quickly and there customer support went south.
I had a problem with stuck coins and my support questions went unanswered, and when I did get a reply it was "We are working on it" but it took about 6 weeks to get my coins back into my wallet..good luck.

already ~700 mh...  Shocked all asics from monero came to etn

The massive spike in hashrate and difficulty was inevitable as most other Cryptonight coins modified the algorithm so the ASIC's had to go somewhere and unfortunately ETN was the easy option.

Difficulty over 37kkk hahaha that's a joke!
Hopefully you can move with the anti-asic fork ASAP guys, your "miners" right now are people who are desperate to make back the money they lost when they bought those ASICs or the manufacturer/re-sellers who're stuck with that thing on their hands... most of them must be selling what they mine instantly.

ETN should move faster.

Intensecoin (itns) will also fork these days. Hope ETN will not be the last one to fork:
