Wow. Best mining with my brand new HTC P113  with 12 GB ram . today 14 token in 16hours. very nice.  Grin Grin
well that now binance and poloniex follow.  Grin  and soon I will wake up  Wink

That's great. Yours is pretty much faster. I own a Xiaomi Mi Max 2 device with 4GB ram yet I've gotten less than 1 ETN (0.87 ETN) in over 2 days. And from time to time, My miners stops and I'm asked to fill a simple form before I'm allowed to continue mining. At this rate, It'll take over 3 years for me to hit 1000 ETN

Interesting how my brand new S9 is pulling only 26... is not fully optimized for S9s or whats the problem? I find this laughable lul

Lol, yeah, that is way too low, my Honor 8 is doing between 34-36. But still I think that this phone mining is more like for fun.

Well shouldve bought then 10 of your phones instead of S9 for mining...

This video was posted earlier today on Electroneum's FB page regarding Qryptos exchange in case you want to watch it:
"We are so pleased to have partnered with these guys- Qryptos is an incredible exchange with a solid trade platform. Please check out their latest video where they do a Q&A- breaking into the global market has been crucial to our marketing plan, we can’t wait to see what they deliver in the coming months. https://www.facebook.com/QUOINE.SG/videos/1446513008793944/"

Also, just a couple hours ago they posted the following regarding the mobile miner:
"The mobile mining algorithm now has the data from tens of thousands of mobile miners running the android app has subsequently increased the mobile miner coin emission twice this week (once just a moment ago).

There have been more than 100,000 new app downloads this week, and we haven't started any promotion yet.

Keep mining, it's early days and we value your input!"

Email sent out by Richard Ells, it has some bad news and some good news, or at least not so bad news that ETN can be traded on some other exchange that may or may not be any good:

Unfortunately Cryptopia (the main exchange people have been using for ETN) is still having technical difficulties. We've been in touch with their team to offer help, they have assured us they are on top of it and are working to resolve the problem at their end. You can see their ETN status page here: https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/CoinInfo/?coin=ETN (at the time of writing ETN still has "maintenance" on it).

We have been assured by two big exchanges that our listing is "imminent". We are also in the queue and have paid listing fees for other exchanges, (we are under NDA and can't announce their names yet).

Electroneum Friday Update...

Hi,
It's been an exciting week, but a challenging one too!
Mobile Miner increase in emission (payout)
The mobile mining algorithm now has the data from tens of thousands of mobile miners running the android app has subsequently increased the mobile miner coin emission twice this week (once just a moment ago).
There have been more than 100,000 new app downloads this week, and we haven't started any promotion yet.
Keep mining, it's early days and we value your input!

Exchanges

Unfortunately Cryptopia (the main exchange people have been using for ETN) is still having technical difficulties. We've been in touch with their team to offer help, they have assured us they are on top of it and are working to resolve the problem at their end. You can see their ETN status page here: https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/CoinInfo/?coin=ETN (at the time of writing ETN still has "maintenance" on it).
We have been assured by two big exchanges that our listing is "imminent". We are also in the queue and have paid listing fees for other exchanges, (we are under NDA and can't announce their names yet).
We very keen to ramp up our exchange listings and are applying for every exchange that we are not already in discussion with.

Cryptopia Alternatives

If you would like to use an exchange that is regulated by the Japanese Financial Services Authority and has been growing fast, then I'd recommend Qryptos.  You'll find some other exchange options on our website at https://electroneum.com/exchanges/

How you can help

We would love our community to help with our exchange listings. We have an enormous, and passionate community. If we could ask you to POLITELY ask your favourite exchanges via their social media and Telegram groups that you'd like to see ETN listed, then they'll understand how much demand there is to trade.

There are various petition campaigns running at https://www.change.org/search?q=electroneum that you could sign to show your support for listing. We can leverage these petitions at these larger exchanges and show the user numbers and demand there is for Electroneum.

Cryptopia has a Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/cryptopiaexchange that you could politely ask how long the ETN maintenance period will last for. Again, I'm sure they are working as hard as they can, but it can't hurt to show what huge demand there is for the problem to be resolved.

If every holder of ETN spends just 5 minutes of their time per week making social media posts to exchanges and petitions we can show the enormous power of the Electroneum community. We have nearly one MILLION registered users now!

its just an airdrop calculator nothing else, i bet my balls they knew it already months ago thats why they postponed the release so much as possible Grin
you promised mobile mining and delievered a mobile wallet with an airdrop calculator..

We knew that it was just a mining simulation app from the start. Christ above how many times do we have to go over this. Anyone that thought any different obviously hasnn't been paying attention... smh. This is exactly what they promised. Exchanges will come eventually and the mobile app will grow to more users too. Too many people expecting miracles and million dollar bank balances is whats wrong. This project is only in its infancy but its coming along nicely imo. Even in the dips were still 6x the ico ffs.

I agree that I think people are expecting too much too soon from them. That said, the devs seem to be not up to the job and hopefully Richard has hired people who are more qualified.
I'm waiting patiently to use Electroneum Mobile miner on my  device. I'm sure the 2GB RAM would be enough to mine ETN coins in the background while carrying on with the daily use of my phone. On twitter i saw an official brochure from the event, and it says, that mobile miner can make up to 3 dollars per month.

Well it depends on what the value of ETN at the time. Right now it is low as it not only has gone down in sats but also the value of sats has gone down that makes a huge difference. Like what you mine if you keep "could" be worth 3-5 times as much in the near future. So say now it could be worth $2 a month, but if you do not sell and keep until summer the same will be maybe $5-10.

ETN on Cryptopia on maintenance again... wtf?

We need other (better) exchanges for ETN!  Angry

I agree with someone who reckoned that ETN has some sort of agreement with Cryptopia.  Where they will have exclusive access to the coins for a period of time.  This is why regulating exchanges is a good idea as some of them are as bent as butchers hook.

ETN is not one coin that happens to be serviced, not so long ago the aether was on the service for quite a long time.

Electroneum might have been a tempting option for the attackers because it was designed to let people mine with their phones, which tend to be considerably less powerful than PCs. So someone with half a million computers at their disposal might be able to make considerable returns.

Lol if that is the case, even hackers don't read whitepapers Cheesy

I Just seen this

500,000 computers infected in 12 hours, mining Electroneum
A quickly spreading cryptojacking infection, geared to mine Electroneum, has been detected.

Just before noon on 6 March Microsoft picked up more than 80,000 instances of the same sophisticated trojan. In the next 12 hours, more than 400,000 other instances were recorded. 73% of it was in Russia, 18% in Turkey and 4% in Ukraine.
It turned out to be a new variant of a Dofoil or Smoke Loader trojan, equipped with a cryptocurrency mining payload. The coin miner is believed to use the NiceHash system which can be geared to mine a range of coins, but this particular attack was geared to mine Electroneum.
Electroneum might have been a tempting option for the attackers because it was designed to let people mine with their phones, which tend to be considerably less powerful than PCs. So someone with half a million computers at their disposal might be able to make considerable returns.
Microsoft said that it was a sophisticated piece of malware, designed to stay hidden for a long time by masquerading as a genuine Windows function, but did not say how it managed to spread so quickly.
Dofoil has a long history as a malware downloader, using a system called "process hollowing." This means it duplicates a suitable legitimate process, then hollows it out and replaces the contents with malicious code to remain undetected. This hollowed program then spawns the cryptocurrency mining program which also masquerades as a legitimate process.
From here it connected to a remote command and control server hosted on the decentralised Namecoin network. This server would then give the malware commands, including connecting or disconnecting from IP addresses, download a file and executing or terminating it, or sleeping for a period of time. Like most cryptojackers, it was engineered to stay hidden for as long as possible in order to extract as much value from its host computers.Windows Defender AV initially flagged the attack’s unusual persistence mechanism through behavior monitoring, which immediately sent this behavior-based signal to our cloud protection service.
Within milliseconds, multiple metadata-based machine learning models in the cloud started blocking these threats at first sight.
Seconds later, our sample-based and detonation-based machine learning models also verified the malicious classification. Within minutes, detonation-based models chimed in and added additional confirmation.
Within minutes, an anomaly detection alert notified us about a new potential outbreak.
After analysis, our response team updated the classification name of this new surge of threats to the proper malware families. People affected by these infection attempts early in the campaign would have seen blocks under machine learning names like Fuery, Fuerboos, Cloxer, or Azden. Later blocks show as the proper family names, Dofoil or Coinminer.
Since Microsoft picked it up, it can now be detected by Windows 10, Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 users running Windows Defender AV or Microsoft Security Essentials, and probably other antivirus systems too.

So with only Android devices we have around 50k of users, it will we nice to see how many will join via iPhone Smiley We just need to cross our fingers for this current situation with btc, I hope this FUD and all bad stuff will be over soon, so we could see some uptrend with btc and altcoins. I think ETN team is waiting for right time for releasing some good news about partnerships and new exchanges.

Yeah, they will likely want to time things right and try to keep ETN as stable as possible for now, seeing as the crypto market is in a bad way at the moment. Hopefully when the market recovers and alts rise, ETN will be in a much better place. We do need a good high volume exchange asap though.

Agreed. Although the Electroneum team has released some exciting news in the past few weeks, the current situation with the crypto market is not helping anyone. I do hope this stabilizes soon (I wasn't expecting to see BTC going under 9K again) and that ETN can start rising.
