I came to my wallet because there was a 60%+ pump today, so I wanted to withdraw. And I couldn't access my coins, I still can't!!! Unbelievable, why scam your followers like this, Electroneum? Huh

Yes, proper annoucement before implementing KYC should be made, but it's nothing new that centralized app/exchange is doing it without any warning. I have seen it many times already, and this is the reason I wasn't holding my ETN coins there. It's better to move them to a real wallet with private keys you own.

There was a warning, you just don't follow the coin properly.

If nothing has change recently, there is only command line wallet with daemon. No official GUI light wallet unfortunately, so if you want to store coins safely, you need to download the whole Electroneum blockchain and learn a few commands (nothing particularly difficult tho).

I don't see any KYC requirement in my mobile application. Is it because of a very small amount of coins?

I think this is the ultimate goal for many cryptocurrencies in general - be able to pay with ETN using your phone everywhere you want to. Looks like Electroneum is few steps closer than most other projects, so this may come tru sooner than we think.

It's a good practice to check any coin on a regular basis. I have seen other coins fork twice in a year and then people lose all their coins!

Phone 2 Phone instant notifications

Currently any transaction between phones gives an instant notification to the receiver that the ETN is on the way - but the receiver has to know it's coming and click 'refresh' to their in-app notifications. We know that's not ideal, but it's only temporary to allow us to get this live API in to BETA testing. We are rolling out PUSH notifications in October 2019, which will allow the receivers phone to notify them that ETN is on the way EVEN IF THEY DON'T HAVE THE ELECTRONEUM APP OPEN!

By clicking on settings tab you can find the KYC procedure now they have been decide to implement this system without asking from community. If you want to access to your tokens than you have to pass that KYC process.
