At the moment I have a small amount of bitcoin and etherium, and this is all that I have at the moment, I have not invested money in any new projects, maybe the fact was that I was very busy moving to a new place of residence and i have my main job, therefore - I didn’t have a time for this, but I don’t consider that I missed something, because the people who invested at the beginning of this year feel very bad.

How many cryptos should Ihave in my portfolio? Are there one recommended diversification ( like having 3 or 4 coins) ?

It depends on you. but after 10 it is going to be hard to follow each of them fundamentally and also technically. I am investing 6 cryptos at the moment. I also don't recommend you to invest 1-2. Never put all eggs at the same basket.
An amount between 6 to 10 coins seems like the sweet spot, if you follow fewer coins like that then you are probably missing in some of the action the market is giving but if you follow more than that then you will probably need to make trading your main activity and many do not have the time to do that because they have jobs and other responsibilities to attend, besides if you like to follow the news of the coins in which you have invested it  is going to be very difficult if you are following more than 10 coins.

However that does not mean that you need to follow the same coins all the time, you can change the coins you are following depending in your criteria, for example if a coin that you were following losses too much volume you could drop it for a new coin with more volume.

I left in my crypto portfolio 10 of the most promising coins, in my opinion. Among them are eth, bitcoin, neo, ada and a few more popular ones. It doesn't make sense to keep a lot of coins, it is better to focus on the best ten.

We have so many good and promising tokens with innovative projects that warrant us to have more than 200 coins in our portfolio. There is no day I check coinmarketcap that one coin among the highest gainers is not among coin in my portfolio.

It's completely up to you how many coins you want in your portfolio. Some crypto's can be seen as ''high risk/high reward'' or ''Low risk/low reward''. Most time low market cap coins are considered high risk/high reward, and crypto's with a high market cap considered low risk/low reward. It just depends how much money you want to make/are willing to lose. Always do your own research and only invest what you can afford to lose!
I would not say having too much is a bad idea as that would depend on how well you are able to handle all of them at once. In most cases anyway, we all know basically that the more you can invest in as long as you know what you are investing in, the chances of you to at least diversify and get something across board in the long run.

For most altcoins, it is glaring they seem to have a season and using them to increase my bitcoin folio over the years has been a thing for me. What is just important with your portfolio is to know you are holding potential coins; you can handle and manage yourself when it comes to risk, and you have the knowledge to keep making good decisions.

How many is dependent  on what you can afford pertime, I will advice you research well about the first 100 coins on coinmarket and decide base on capacity, you grow along, invest what you can afford to loss, Invest in project with an existing product and competent team member with good past track record.

There are quite a lot of different coins in my portfolio. I earned some of them in airdrops and didn't have time to sell, now they are worth nothing. Therefore, I advise you to take a closer look at the top-5, and also to have two veterans - btc and eth.

First, you gotta make a decision to invest in very promising and tested cryptos no matter how much it costs you. For instance, you can choose Bitcoin being the most dominant and the base currency of cryptos. Add more Ethereum, Ripple, and EOS too for these cryptos can follow bitcoin's path.
And I hope you must advice this man that the most trusted and efficient crypto is bitcoin. Nothing else than this propounding crypto in current market. We need to promote bitcoin.
No matter how much you tend to advice people on that, they always do not seem to realize that, and they still do whatever they please in the long run anyway. The issue with a lot of people is that they feel they have missed the bitcoin train and they felt altcoin will end up giving to them what they have missed in bitcoin.

However, it is better they realize that altcoins are just distractions for most people entering the space newly and if they are not careful, they will just realize that unless they know how to handle themselves in the alt space to look for projects with a quality product which is hard to find, then there is no way there will be anything for them.
with the number of coins that are indeed we are required to choose good coins for infestation, but if there are still doubts, there are some coins which are certainly the safest, as mentioned above, these coins can affect the development of other coins

The more diversified your portfolio is, the more risky it will be to invest your money, as if you did not put all your eggs in one basket. The scale of diversification depends on your capital.

How many cryptos should Ihave in my portfolio? Are there one recommended diversification ( like having 3 or 4 coins) ?

Currently, there's too much blood on the streets and many good projects' tokens are witnessing values and market caps nobody ever have thought of, because after the huge juicy pump in the amount of total crypto market cap during the beginning of 2018, it is unthinkable for anyone to see such low prices currently. XTZ, XLM, ZRX, SS, QNT, HAND, etc. are few good projects that I believe which could easily gain a lot once BTC stabilizes or starts gaining back in value.

When I started newly I didn’t bother about diversification. I just bought a lot of Bitcoins and stored them. I never wanted to take the risk of investing in altcoins then cause I don’t know much about them, and by the way Bitcoin is safest and best coin you buy anytime.

I started to practice diversification last year after a lot of people were talking about it, but there is still no much need for it since other coins will likely move same direction with Bitcoin.
Even if altcoins move in the same direction as bitcoin that doesn't mean that the magnitude of the movement is the same, altcoins tend to move faster than bitcoin so when the price of bitcoin goes up altcoins gain more valued than bitcoin during that very same time and the opposite is true as well, when the price of bitcoin begins to go down most altcoins crash faster and harder than bitcoin if you are a skilled trader you can take advantage of that difference in the movements of bitcoin and altcoins.

You can make money by switching from altcoins to bitcoin depending on how the market is moving, this is difficult but there are many traders that are using that strategy to earn good profits.

I never believe there is a cap on the number of tokens in ones portfolio as long as they are good projects. The main thing is the balancing, how do one balance between Big cap projects and small cap project, what I observes is that big cap projects gives stablity more than small cap but the potential for growth is higher in small cap

At most 10 cryptocurrency might be enough for your portfolio. Among the 10 coins, you shoud there invested in coins that are very low in prices, but with great potentials. Because with these coins, you can have huge percent profit that might reach 100 times or even more 1000 times your capital. The stable coins, however, would only give assurance for your total investments.

What idea you are giving is correct but if you want the assured profit then stable coins and who are in crypto market from long will give you assured profit let it be low but you wont be in loss. But you can take risk and invest 20 or 30% of you investment in low value coins which are having great potentials to grow as taking risk will only give your huge profit.
