I remember owning almost 50 several altcoins when the market is alive but now I'm just holding more or less than 15 altcoins. In this current condition of the market, it's best not to buy so much and just hoard the promising ones. 10 altcoins would be fine and 5 if you still don't have much experience.

How many cryptos should Ihave in my portfolio? Are there one recommended diversification ( like having 3 or 4 coins) ?

it really depends on how much money you have in your pocket or wallet, may be big or small, as long as it does not belong to your savings, you should invest money that you are willing to take risk, because crypto trading is not that unstable in terms of price because of the volatility of its market price, some even invest their money that came from loan, if you are well enough to trade and knows the ins and out, you can invest as much as you can, but it is still best to invest money that you are willing to loose in case of a dump.

It depends on the choice of coins you have. You got hundreds of worthless alts, you got the quantity but never the quality. I'd rather have few alts with good volume and bitcoin. Around 1-5 coins on my portfolio with solid value of $$ in total.

I advise you to divide your portfolio into 33% which means having a maximum of 3 coins. If you will have large numbers of hold coins, definitely you cannot handle it or there is a tendency that you will lose. If you are just starting, you can set your target profits to the coins you have and buy another set of coins so that, you can hold it again.

You can collect as much as you want as long as you have the means to acquire them. Anyway, you dont just have to buy them all but you can also earn some of them in exchange for your labor. One thing good i like with crypto is it is not controlled by anyone, not limited and not owned by any institution or government so i can do what I want, collect as much as I want and experiment with every coin i have. I can only say you gotta be free and explore.
Right. As long as you have enough money on hand, then you can buy all the potential coins you think. After all,its you who will manage them all in a right manner.Just don't forget to buy more on bitcoin and ethereum because they are still the topmost crypto coins and you will still gain huge profits from them in the right time.

Divide your money in three parts. One for BTC, another for ETH, and the last one for altcoins. Number of altcoins must not exceed three. These three altcoins must be choosen carefully.

My opinion it's better to hold about 5 top coins at least. But it's better to be very careful while choosing right coin. I advice to buy with big value.

Well it depends on your capability of having many coins in your portfolio, this is what it means of abundant money investment putting investment in a different coin which do you think will potentially earned that is good for the future.

I think if you browse different user portfolios, almost everyone gets bitcoin and ethereum in it, but based on their research they have other assets.
There are no limits on your portfolio, you can add as many assets as you can. As in the above quote it is up to you, you decide what amount you have to make a perfect portfolio.

I have 6 crypto currencies, which account for 80% of my portfolio. The rest is made up of high-risk coins. I have a desire to expand my portfolio by the number of coins.

It woud depend on how much you are willing to invest. I suggest starting with just one then build your portfolio from there from the earnings they get. I myself started with just 1 early this year and now i have 4. Now if you have alot of money to spread around then i think 5 solid coins will be enough to keep track on.

I personally have 2 coins. BTC and ETH. If enough money to buy both coins. If my money isn't enough then I only buy one coin, ETH for my recommendation.

maybe if you are a new people on trading, you can have less than 5 coins in your portfolio and I think it will not difficult to manage the 5 coins. but if you know cryptocurrency at least one year experience, maybe you can have more than 10 coins and you don't have any problem to handle and manage the coins. I know some of my friends have more than 15-20 coins in their portfolio and they can trade with easily and some of them don't trade but they are the holder for a long time. so it depends on how much your balance so you can diversify the coins in your portfolio, I suggest to you don't take too many coins in your portfolio so you will easy to check one by one the coins.

I think its more safe to divide our investment in several coin/token. Dividing our investment can reducing risk from big loss when one coin fall on their project. As we know, crypto as investment is very risky and its better if we can minimizing our risk
Investments should also choose for themselves and certain plans. Get to know the market and look at the potential coin to maintain. Divide the property to have more opportunities. Be sure to multiply them many times and need a certain stop. Do not be too greedy.

There is no limit to how many cryptocurrencies you can invest on. Right now I have my money invested in about 13 cryptocurrencies and they are really paying off. I have BTC, ETH, Ripple, Litecoin (might quit), Zcash, Monero and lots of other cryptocurrencies. I even know someone that has his portfolio diversified to more than twenty cryptocurrencies. So there is no limit, if you can be able to invest in so many, then you can do so.

Focusing only in ethereum and in bitcoin will give you peace of mind however is not going to give to you the best profits that you could get out of this market, this is why many people prefer to invest in other altcoins as well so the performance of their portfolios gets improved by investing in new projects with a lot of potential but as you said detecting such projects can be very difficult because even a good project can fail if it doesn't have the support of the community, something that happens more often than people would like to recognize.

Well, it looks like no one is safe in the cryptocurrency world today (or ever), even the holders of Bitcoin and Ethereum as the last events have clearly shown. I'd rather say (as I always say) that dumb holding is a losing strategy in the long run. It worked while Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies along with it had been rising but as soon as it stopped rising, which was inevitable to happen and already happened, your only option is active and continuous trading (or giving up and going home). Yes, Bitcoin had been rising for a long time to deceive you into believing in permanent growth, but the end is always the same. People are stubborn to accept this truth unless they eventually burn their own fingers to the bone. To put it simply, in speculative markets you can live only if you are an active trader, otherwise you get eaten some day and left holding the bag.

I believe that the portfolio must have bitcoin and ethereum. The rest of the coins can be taken from the top ten cryptocurrencies. Another approach is to distribute the funds between the first 50 coins in equal proportions.

Yeah, I know. I believe everyone has those crypto assets (BITCOIN & ETHEREUM)
Because many exchanges using that coin for the main pair. If may add, I suggest adding NEO to your portfolio.
