They were a better side and they were also the hosts too. Their game play worked well in their favor. Sadly they weren't able to keep a clean sheet but they surely were able to maintain the lead till the last minute. It shows how tough and strong they're in their league. For Sporting, they also had their share of 3 points, still no clean sheets but a big away from home win. The results gave these two teams a push on the table and still keeps them in the right spot on their league race. Subsequent games won't really be easy, so the confidence this game result ensued should be used at their disposal. There's definitely still a change and improvement to be effected by these teams.

I took some time to watch this game on TV and I confess that it was a good decision, it was a very good game to watch and as I'm a Benfica fan I was very happy that in this game Benfica managed to score 3 goals and didn't concede any goals.

I took some time to watch this game on TV and I confess that it was a good decision, it was a very good game to watch and as I'm a Benfica fan I was very happy that in this game Benfica managed to score 3 goals and didn't concede any goals. Congratulations to Benfica for the victory, but their main opponents, I'm talking about Sporting and Porto (Porto won), have easy games so I hope they will win with some ease, which means that nothing will change at the top of the table, but the most important thing is that Benfica manages to win all the games that are coming and hope that their main opponents make many mistakes and lose points in the next games, only then would Benfica become champions again this season too

This Porto game is actually funny, they were playing against the worst team in the league, Porto was supposed to at least be able to score a lot of goals, their opponent is in last place in the table and in the last 5 games they only won 1 game, honestly Porto could have achieved a better result if they were in good shape. but all Porto managed in that game was to score just 1 goal. I don't know if Porto's problem is with the coach or the management or if they have a financial crisis in the team, but the way things are, I think Porto is in need of a lot of changes, they have been a winning team in recent times. games thanks to the referees and when they play naturally they haven't been able to score many goals. well, it was just a goal, but they won and that's what matters in the table
In the fixtures for the Portuguese league, it ended in an easy win for Benfica and Porto. Both teams are the strongest in the league and for one they both were at home in their different games as well as they're more experienced and had a very feeble opponent. Definitely they had every right and capacity to earn the 3points fairly. Porto have been a consistent side, keeping up with wins and ensuring their race is not seeming loopy or faulty. Although they were only able to net just one goal in the entire game but for Benfica on the other hand, they have been trying too, even though they're at the second spot, they strived not to go below that. The game outcome added an advantage to their stride and kept them in the top spots as they've always been. I don't think these teams would risk this chance of boosting points and going ahead in games and the tables too. For Porto, it's an extra confidence to their UCL race.
