Could you give me some advice as to what would be a suitable video card for mining?  I was so disappointed to not be allowed to take part in the IPO, kinda crushed really.  So I think my only hope will be to mine it.  Cheers

can all ipo investors make a promise to not sell under say £1 a coin lol. or atleast the same 2000% that next investors currently enjoy :-p

we can, but there will be no buyers Smiley

u r right. don't expect price to skyrocket from the very beginning.
some investors will cash out at 5x or 10x ROI. That is good for the distribution of eXo.

Is there a delay? I don't think launch is happening in 4 days.  The software should run stable at least for a weak without crashing.

Lets move the date to 20th and mining 3 weeks after the launch.

There is still no API page with clear instructions for exchanges on how to add the coin.

Hey, you slept like 4 hours?
Don't push yourself so hard. You should take good rest.

I took a good loong sleep now and so did exokk as well. So we are very motivated again to continue developing  Wink
I just found a bug in the manageAddress function. That is called on each arriving message that is signed. Especially transactions...
It came out that it can happen that a delete[] there will be called twice and thus ended in a crash. Since the latest crashes of the client all seems to be linked to arriving transactions this might be the essential bug. The fix was easy. Anyway I started to include more checks everywhere plus checking if memory allocation was successfull (some of our VPS are low in memory. If the memory management is not properly it might runs out of memory and silently crashes). Since we need to carefully add everywhere additionally checks we will take our time today and tomorrow. The next version will be released there after. I hope that fixing the latest bug will make it stable now. Also going to solve the crash that some experienced aka "prev block .... please report to dev". That is a code part that never should be called... Checking why it is entered.

tried to generate 10.000 exos, clicked on cancel and infinite  "wait till process is finished",

now the window console_coin closes when the gui load, i find useful an option to show it.
flooded again with a ton of 10.000 exo creation and client crashed
infinite bug: thanks. We got already a similar report for that but we lost focus on that. Added again on our priority list.

You can open the console at any time if you like (check out debug window -> "help" for a command overview or directly write "console" to show or hide again the console window - but warning: do not close the console window with the cross or the program will end Wink )

ok lets just say like this ... this coin is worth at least 5x of invested coin.
But I'm surprised by the fact the second round IPO is less than the first round.

Because the IPO time is long enough. Most people interested in this project already invested in 1st round.
Also since dev promised reward of 1st round will be always more than 2nd round, most ppl would choose to invest in 1st round.
Furthermore, it use escrow service, investing in 1st round is also safe.

Unstable client affected the second round of IPO very much

I purchased a maximum round 2 eXocoin stake of 1.5 bitcoins that is held in escrow with anon136.

I would like to swap this for an equivalent value of Qora coins with someone who bought a stake in the Qora IPO.

I would prefer to swap with someone who used escrow for the Qora IPO, but if you are a trusted long-term forum user that would be OK

Please make an offer if you are interested.

Why do you think Qora is better than Exo?

I think Qora & eXo are both very promising so they're both good investments long term, and at this stage I don't think it's possible to say which one is better. I'd like to get into Qora now because I like POS coins, but if I don't find someone to trade with I wont mind keeping the eXo.

Unfortunately I missed the Qora IPO, and as it's 100% POS the only way to get it now will be buying from a stake holder or waiting until it hits an exchange. Unlike eXo, Qora didn't have a cap on the investment so there are some BIG Qora holders, much bigger than with eXo. I'm hoping one of those guys might have missed out on eXo and would like to diversify.

I can still mine eXo, but I can't mine Qora, and as I'd like to own some of both, trading eXo for Qora seems like a reasonable plan.

eXo has a much better distribution scheme than Qora, and that is certainly a big plus.

exo and qora are both great coin in this time , we should focus on those .

I had never heard. I saw that you have a topic here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=522102.960

I downloaded the beta and is in java. Should be "nxt clone" to have been done so quickly.

#Edit: That's weird, java and some dlls have probably made in c.
Would have made an interface in java and put the pieces of bitcoin in these dlls?

if its NXT clone, the coin would have been released by now
