Have you noticed that there are ton of browser addons and apps for all devices that are designed to block anything related to betting/gambling? So there's already an option for that. Technically that could work for someone, who can't resist temptations when they see them. I don't think it's a magic bullet, but i really think that people who would benefit from that should use them. But it definitely wouldn't work for most of the people.
Indeed, it is true that this won't work for most people, primarily because something that is easy to install is just as easy to uninstall when someone addicted to gambling is really itching to play. Such barriers truly have no effect on an addict. It's incredibly easy for someone to break small rules and start making excuses to engage in gambling, even if it's just for a short while or with a small amount of money to quench their craving. But this cycle will repeat itself until it becomes a habit.

Without a genuine intention to quit, one cannot stop gambling (for those who have reached the addiction level). The power of heart and mind is everything when it comes to extinguishing one's desires.

Do you think that those social media influencers will stop promoting gambling sites only because they feel for the gambler's addiction and they do not want people to become gambling addicts? They do not care for any of these things and the only motive for them is to earn money as they are being sponsored by the gambling site.

The gamblers themselves have to understand that whatever is being shown by the YouTubers and media influences is not 100 percent true and accurate. Most of the time those people will present the casino in such a way that you will feel that making money from gambling is the easiest thing on the earth.
Gambling is perilous; don't be swayed by enormous bonuses; all of them are intended to induce one to participate in the concept of gambling, which is entirely at our own personal risk. Social media platforms Influencers have no business conveying the excruciating message they are, as long as they continue to make their cool cash after being paid for online advertising connected to these gambling websites, they're done. We owe ourselves enormous responsibility to take care of ourselves and pay our bills without depending on anybody to do them for us.

Interesting, "Gambling is perilous" for people who only think about getting instant money in every gaming session. and vice versa, gambling can be a medium of entertainment if we can utilize it and use it well and wisely. Regarding bonuses, this is something that is commonly done by every casino platform to increase the attraction for its users. Also, it provides benefits for those who can take advantage of it. Whatever it is with influences, streamers, or others and so on, they do their job as they should and there is nothing wrong with that. except, which leads to mislead.

Likewise with us, who use signatures from casino campaigns. there is no difference, after all we both benefit and the same goes for the casino platform. The point is, everyone has their own picture regarding gambling. However, usually, many users always experience difficulties with the tendency to play excessively. which in the end, has an impact on our financial condition and even makes us one of the gambling addicts. Well, as you said in this post. the point is, "we have a great responsibility to take care of ourselves". plus, we have complete will and mastery over ourselves. So the most important thing is, play according to our abilities, without always having to force ourselves so that we don't fall into addiction.

In my opinion, ad blockers can really help, however, as you have also mentioned, there are vloggers or social media influencers that always promote online gambling websites. In my daily life browsing social media, there's no such day that I will not see an advertisement for gambling from those vloggers. What people need to do is to talk to their relative/s who gamble, and also talk to the kids who can see those ads to avoid it as early as possible. This won't do any good in the long run.

Yeah, even those content creators in fb they are also promoting gambling at the end of every vlog or in the middle, many creators now are doing that because they are being paid so big so even that is not registered in government still they are doing that and worst thing is they did not check if that gambling game has a good or bad feedback they just do it without hesitation because of money.
One thing about social media is that whatever thing is your interest is what they bring to you and they do this by filtering the things that you browse more often. If you are into gambling and always communicating with the groups that say about gambling and gambling odds, you will be getting the ads that relates to gambling.
So in as much as you are exposed in social media, you have every tendency to see this ads. Blocking them is not the solution because this blogger we still need to make their profit and even Facebook themselves through the sales of advertisement. The best is to tackle the problem from the root and not from the top. Everyone should discipline themselves and family and the problem of ads leading to gambling addiction will be a thing of the past.

I am of the opinion that since gambling sites are mostly online and some has adds that pops up as advert on visited site, one should be able to disable or change their browser settings  by blocking casino adds and as well disabling  gambling sites on their browser settings so as not to gain access to it anymore till the number of days they deem fit to their resolve. This was just a little tip I gave as a possible solution. I had to put it up here for further discussions so that the bigger community can see it as  well.

If you feel or think here is not the right place for this you can say it. I am open to corrections as we all are here to learn.

gambling will never be perilous if we don not use it wrong. I mean when someone is influenced by advertisements or after seeing influencers broadcasting gambling games and talking about huge bonuses but we just try to play responsibly and instead try to use very small amounts to try our luck it not be a problem. its same as other gamblers, as long as gamblers are able to control themselves, gamble responsibly, gambling will not be dangerous, but will be a place of entertainment that can give us pleasure without the threat of addiction.
and for influencers who do that, its very reasonable because its their job or job so we can not blame them for that problem and for our own responsibility its something that must be taken care not to think about something big that we can get from gambling except pleasure.
Of course, that's their job and their way of making money is the same as bloggers who provide gambling site reviews by including referral links so that they benefit from people who register, and that's not wrong, it would be wrong if they provide information that isn't real like what I see in several broadcasts from gambler streamers with a tag line that will give the wrong interpretation.
However, assuming that broadcasts from gambler streamers can make people addicted, in my opinion, that is not entirely correct, because streamers are only trying to make money, and when someone is finally interested in gambling then it is their responsibility to maintain healthy behavior in their gambling activities. play within their limits

It is simply wrong to try to blame streamers or anyone promoting a casino as the source of gambling addiction, the source of addiction is within each person and each person is entirely responsible for their actions.

With that being said, once a person has become addicted or at least it is in the process of becoming one, it is very difficult for them to overcome it, as now gambling ads are everywhere and now you can access casinos all over the world with incredibly ease, a problem that did not existed a few decades ago.
Just as expected on which a certain individual would really be loving on pointing out his finger on someone just to put up the blame which it is really that a very common addicted gambler kind of behavior on which it is that

they would really be finding someone which they could really be able to blame on where they do end up to without even trying to realize that it was their fault in the first place. This is why if you dont really like on ending up miserable or on having a messy life when it comes to financial aspect then it would really be just that wise that you should really be mindful or responsible with their actions or else then everything would be messed up.
Stopping possible gambling addiction would really be entirely be depending or starting on you on which you could neither be having that kind of impulsive approach or simply having that good control and moderation when it comes into your funds.
You wont really get that addicted if you do have that kind of control and discipline when it comes to gambling then addiction is less likely but of course you do still need to be careful because
once you do make yourself get hooked with addiction then you would really be ending up miserable.

as we say here that it all depends on our own personality whether we are able to be responsible with all our activities. I mean if a streamer who does his job provides information about certain gambling and sometimes exaggerates after that there are some people who are interested and try to bet after that it becomes addictive I think this is completely the fault of the gambler himself can not control himself like another example when someone is allergic to eating pork but the person comes to the restaurant ordering pork and then eats it and after that his allergy recurs, it is impossible to blame the restaurant because the person comes and orders the food himself, just like a gambler who comes to gambling with his own desires after that he becomes addicted and does not maybe blame anyone, even streamers will never be at fault here.

In simple terms, if you not want to get addicted, it would be better if someone does not try to approach gambling or try anything related to gambling.

Well that's true too, and it does make sense. Humans are fallible and their minds can also be very distracted by some things that come along that they find interesting, as is the case in this gambling. Well I consider it natural and I also understand how their conditions there. Well that's right, there is no failure, it might just be an obstacle that prevents them from stopping, but well it doesn't matter if they really have the full intention and seriousness to stop. For people who are serious about quitting I honestly believe that it is not a failure but a challenge whether they are able to do it harder or even retreat from the battlefield.
We are only humans who often make mistakes we don't realize. But we can also avoid making mistakes, especially if we are willing to learn from previous mistakes. And regarding the gambling we have done, we can learn from our experience so that we don't lose a lot of money when gambling. I agree that for those who have not been able to stop gambling, it is not a failure but a challenge they have to face because stopping gambling is not easy. Quitting gambling requires a lot of things and won't be done instantly.

Yes as we discussed in the previous session, there are two ways that look better in this problem, whoever it is needs to add the thing we discussed here if they really want to quit and that is to add other activities (keep yourself busy) and reduce the budget level every time they want to bet. Keep in mind that all these actions will not be in vain, switch your mind to a more reasonable logic. I think if we think normally this won't be too difficult, but yes they kind of magnify the problem themselves.
Yes, adding other activities and reducing the budget is something we can do to reduce our gambling activities. Maybe we can't do it fully because we are still in the learning stage, but I'm sure if we keep doing it, one day, we will be able to reduce our gambling activities. It is not futile because it is all for our own good. Do we want to keep gambling without being able to control the money or do we want to be able to gamble but be able to use gambling wisely and as entertainment? That is our choice.

Hmm, I doubt that a seasoned player who has no relation to someone who intends or should leave this world can say anything that would further motivate them to leave the game, the fans and those who are doing well in this area are inspired and such once, even instead of trying to raise awareness that excessive gaming addiction can lead to utter ruin I ended up encouraging them to continue and even intensify this act.. Now fine a friend who is Involved with this world and has realized that his Buddy needs help regarding this issue because of his little potential to win or his bad excessive way of doing it before falling into a difficult situation if you can take this place of a counselor to make you see that you are making wrong decisions that you may later regret, the help provided by the right people are the ones that can pull anyone out of their vicious ..

Yes, of course experienced gamblers don't necessarily just stop playing gambling, because with the experience they already have and the extent to which gamblers play, of course they have experienced losses and wins, and apart from that, over time they will realize and understand how they will continue. and gamble again.
Having a friend who is an expert in gambling will make us calmer and more comfortable, because when we have problems gambling, of course he will teach us and can advise us if we are too careless and excessive in gambling.

Indeed, it's not something that when you say it, you can do it right away, though maybe in some exemptions but with someone who already has an addiction inside, this kind of statement really needs hard stop. Something that can be done with the help of professionals and especially your love ones who will be there to help while you are in the process of trying to stop your bad gambling habits.

Once you are already done and manage to quit, the next thing to do is make sure that you'll not be influenced back, taking alternative activities to prevent you from going back.

It's true, it's very difficult to stop someone's habit of gambling if they still have doubts and don't balance it with strong beliefs, so it's impossible for them to change even in the long term.
And I agree, if he wants to kick his gambling habit he needs the help and advice of a professional or former gambler. Because maybe they have experienced bad things from gambling and this can be told to gamblers to reduce or stop gambling so they don't experience the same thing as they experienced before.

It should start form the person itself, if he wanted to stop gambling. But also his family and support groups can also step up, but it has to begin with the person and then admit that he had gambling and then help them out.

Worst came to worst, the addicted gambler might lose everything in life, before he arrived to the realization that he/she is addicted and need to stop and turn his life around so that he will get back all. what he has lost, specially love ones and families.

I agree with you that the person in concern must have made up his mind that he wants to stop gambling before anyone can help him out. If not if he hasn't made up his mind because he hasn't lost much yet, then it will be a waste of time. Loved ones like friends and family can only help him to stay away from gambling activities, if he has made up his mind to stop gambling. Some gamblers only come to conclusion of quitting only if they have lost everything they have and they are have been isolated by their loved ones. Addiction steals away our happiness and good relationship with our loved ones and of they have start to complain about your gambling activities, it means that it is time for you to quit because you lack self control and you are not a responsible gambler.

Controlling addiction becomes increasingly challenging as we age, which is why age limits are often imposed on habits with the potential for harmful addiction. While some strategies can help manage these habits before they become addictions, it often requires prolonged periods of abstinence, and any relapse can reignite the problem
I think just habits appear at an earlier age than in adulthood, since in youth there is simply no life experience and no understanding of the consequences, and later this can already develop into a big problem. And if a person begins to get involved in gambling at a more mature age, then I think he is more likely to understand that he is doing something wrong and his environment will point out his bad habit or problem.

It is normal if we fail to resist temptation because we are still humans who can be weak at any time. But we must keep trying to resist the temptations that arise so we don't return to gambling. We must be able to do our best and never give up if we fail because failure is a delayed success. And by increasing your daily activities, you can eliminate the desire to gamble until finally, you really don't think about gambling anymore and when that happens, you will see how much money you can save and not use for gambling. And in your friend's case, I think he will slowly recover and not think about gambling so that he can live a normal life like you and be healthier in his activities.

Well that's true too, and it does make sense. Humans are fallible and their minds can also be very distracted by some things that come along that they find interesting, as is the case in this gambling. By reducing the budget for gambling, he can help reduce the possibility of losing from gambling so that he can still have his money. Increasing his daily activities will help him block thoughts that can lead him to gamble so he can forget about gambling and just focus on doing his daily activities. In that way, we can cure his addiction to gambling and maybe it won't take long as long as he continues to carry out his daily activities routinely.

Yes as we discussed in the previous session, there are two ways that look better in this problem, whoever it is needs to add the thing we discussed here if they really want to quit and that is to add other activities (keep yourself busy) and reduce the budget level every time they want to bet. But that's not what OP is trying to point out. It's the advertisements that he doesn't want to see and I think I also some of this problem from other people who like to block the gambling ads. It's actually a problem now in the internet world since advertising is where it gets money from. If people were able to block this kind of ads then the profits for those who make it and even Google (I think) will be lower.
It's actually a good idea and I do believe that the Browser owners should be the ones who are offering those types of services. Ad Blockers (maybe paid extension) will help a lot not just for gamblers who are trying to avoid it because of their addiction but also for parents or guardians who don't want their kids to witness this kind of nature of ads. Gambling and pornography. Because, let's face it, even with the free ad blockers that are being offered, there are still many that get through those blockers and pop out of our screens and browsers.
Another problem for gambling addicts who are trying to stop now is those vloggers who have gambling advertisements at the end of their clips.
In my opinion, ad blockers can really help, however, as you have also mentioned, there are vloggers or social media influencers that always promote online gambling websites.
